I had asked for a simple 1.5 on top with a zero fade in the back. The fade had a harsh line, and when I asked if it could be blended more I was told "That's the most I can fade it." I didn't want to be pushy, so I actually started wondering if maybe I was the problem and just wasn't seeing it right. I got in the car trying so hard to hold back my tears. Then I remembered Executive Barbershop was just up the street. I quickly searched for their number and called hoping someone might still be available. Narbeh answered and explained they were already closed and about to start on his last client. I think he could hear the panic and disappointment in my voice because without hesitation he told me he'd stay and take my son once his client was done. When he saw the haircut, I think he was just as shocked as I was. He didn't have much to work with, but somehow he completely transformed it. I honestly can't believe these were the same haircuts. Narbeh gave my son exactly what I had originally asked for, despite having to fix someone else's mistake. To top it all off, he didn't even want to charge us. But there was absolutely no way I was walking out of there without paying him. That level of kindness, professionalism, and dedication is so rare. Thank you so much Narbeh. You truly saved the day and I don't think I'll ever forget your kindness. You turned one of the most stressful moments into such a positive experience that you absolutely earned our business. I was convinced that she was someone I could trust with my hair and to help me get the digital perm that I wanted so I booked my appointment with her. I was already warned that digital perms would take a long time so she told me to block out about 3-4 hours. Before starting anything, she checked the health of my hair and also talked through cutting my hair before starting the digital perm process. I appreciated how she knew what lengths and the type of haircut that would best suit me as the digital perm would grow out in the future. I also showed her my digital perms from the past that I liked and didn't like (from other salons that I had gone to) and we were in agreement as to what kind of perm, length, and shape she was going to aim for. She pays great care to details and even made sure that she had the correct intensity of chemicals to make sure that she preserved the health of my hair while perming it. I really appreciated her taking her time to make sure that she was thorough and careful to make sure that this was going to be worthy of my investment. She explained each step of the perm process as she was doing each step. She takes great pride in her work and wanted to make sure that she was also satisfied with her work. Although it was a long morning, she took great care to make sure that I was comfortable and even offered coffee/beverages while I waited. Eunice is so incredibly sweet and is so much fun and easy to talk to. Digital perms in general are pricey, but it's because there is a lot of labor and preparation that goes into perms that are done correctly and done well. I feel like her price point was fair considering her thoroughness and care throughout the process. I definitely plan to come back again next year and I am so glad that I found someone I can confidently trust and go back to for my annual digital perm.
