Casey and Mark were behind the bar and very personable and easy to talk to, but they were also the only two there so when the crowds came in they got really busy. I was craving a burger so I ordered the Hashbrown Burger and on Casey's recommendation had an egg added to it. I upgraded to fries from the normal side of chips. Fries (for me) were well seasoned and plentiful. The burger was juicy and also well seasoned but the egg was a touch overcooked. The burger on it's own works very well, the addition of the egg was a nice touch but the egg wasn't seasoned and it was slightly noticeable. I would definitely order the burger again, but I may pass on the egg. The bar is fully stocked and being a fan of whiskey, felt they have a nice selection. They have a few beers on tap and it was nice to see some local craft breweries on there. In the summer they have a back deck and bar area with a stage. I will add them to my lunch rotation for when I am craving a good burger.

Everything was ready in about 5 minutes and it all tasted good! The staff was also friendly and helpful. The smoothie was very refreshing on this 90 degree day and the wrap was flavorful with the red pepper hummus. I have to admit, ordering both the wrap and the smoothie for myself was a lot but I was really hungry and had skipped breakfast. Overall, a good experience! Would definitely come back.

They were just fried potato with no other flavor or add-in like onions. I added salt and pepper because they needed it. I got American cheese on the scrambled eggs and they were as you'd expect. The tenderloin was fine. Obviously not as good of a cut as New York strip or ribeye would have been. I ended up sharing a portion of it with my oldest and he ate it without complaints too. The star of our visit was the coffee cake. It was warm and soft and in every sense perfect. Sharing is carrying and I'm fine sharing with my kids most of the time, but man, I wish it had been all for me.

The perch were delicious with just the right amount of heat, the broccoli was good and the potato pancakes were crispy and delicious. Also, the whole grain rolls were excellent. The dark atmosphere and heavy, dark all-wood decor gives a vibe you can't find at any chain eatery. Our server, Bailey, was great at just simply interacting on a human level and making us out-of-towners feel welcome in what is obviously a locals hang-out. And yes, I got my cheese curds. It tasted more like a classic old fashioned than a Manhattan but I'm not complaining because I love classic bourbon old fashioned cocktails as well. For a starter we got their much raved about bang bang shrimp. It came on a bed of greens and was good! For my dinner I got their seasonal chicken and dumpling soup and a side salad. Both were solid. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday.
