Iced mocha latte

Super cool place and my coffee and food were amazing. Definitely on the pricey side. The inside was definitely a vibe and I think there is some outdoor seating.

Buvez never fails to brighten my day, not least because nine times out of ten you end up sitting outside in the scorching sun. Jokes aside (the outside is genuinely nice though-- see pics) Buvez really is a quality coffee shop. Their location right next to the railway track and the way it was constructed around a repurposed warehouse adds a lot to the aesthetic. The baristas are, well, quintessential baristas. It's evident they all enjoy the job, and almost everything I've ordered has come out tasting great. A few of them can make some pretty killer latte art as well. Their "shtick," if you will, are their snowcones. They're not featured on the menu (it has its own miniature menu off to the side) but they're genuinely really good. My boyfriend and I enjoyed ours a lot, and their presentation is great as well. I normally make a point to visit Buvez whenever I'm back in Athens. If you're looking for a local coffee shop to chill with friends or chat about the latest Athenian news I'd highly recommend.

cute coffee shop in Athens located in a quiet area, they have great outdoor space, interior space, great coffee, and food. There's vegan options, non dairy options as well. No Apple Pay

One of my favorite coffee shops in Athens! It's a great place to study or just hang out with friends. The shop is super cozy and a great place to chill. My go to drink is the nola nectar latte. The staff is usually pretty nice and helpful (I've had a few who haven't been, but very rare).

If you're looking for an instragram-worthy cafe, this place is it. I ordered boiled egg open sandwich with golden milk (almond milk w tumeric, cinnamon, other spices). It was pretty bland but good quality. Total came out to be $10 w tip and I think that's a good price for a quick lunch/snack while working or studying at a cafe. They have a small menu but put in effort to make it satisfying for whatever you're looking for: coffee, tea, sandwiches, snacks, wine, or beer. I'm not really a coffee person so I haven't tried their coffee but heard it's good!

Super cute vibes! They had lots of outdoor seating since their dining room is still closed. The dirty chai was $5 and I got it with almond milk. It was my first time trying a dirty chai and I really enjoyed it! My friend got the bagel sandwich which had prosciutto, cheese, tomato, & arugula - absolutely delicious!! I would definitely come back here to do work, study, or hang out with friends. They also serve beer & wine which is so fun!

Coffee was good. $11 for a cold egg ham & pimento cheese sandwich was not. Service is fine. I would just stick to the drinks

If you're there for coffee it's great. If you want food don't do it. $11 for a sandwich I wouldn't give a homeless person.

Great coffee in AM, bar in PM and concert venue. Not a long beer selection but it does do the job

Locals know it well -it's been serving the neighborhoods around Normaltown for decades-and it looks the part., Food: 5 stars for their Cincinnati-style chili on French fries , by the bowl, or with hotdogs. Sandwiches are always good size and tasty. We like their Reuben and Rachel as well as the various BLT's. Food is a strong point. Service : Staff are very pleasant and the service is quick. Facility: 2- star (Sorry-but it's true) Old interior, but they have attempted to keep it serviceable. The bathrooms are a good reason to use hand sanitizer instead of washing your hands, IMHO. Lots of various beer cans for decor. Location: Very conveniently located on main thoroughfare just outside Athens in Normaltown between the hardware store and the Mexican restaurant. A few parking spaces on the street, more in the rear.

The fries are hand cut and perfectly seasoned. Last time I was here, I had their chili and I will admit, it's better than mine! That's saying a lot! Great beer selection of local brews. The staff behind the bar is very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that parking is not great with street parking is the only option. Not even sure where to begin to describe the awesomeness that is the Manhattan. Well first off,…read moreit's dimly lit with some retro lamps, light fixtures and scattered Xmas lights. There seems to not be any open space and the walls and ceiling are both pretty much covered with trinkets. There's little 8" vinyl records hanging from the ceiling, along with beads and various other indescribable pieces of art thrown in here and there. Mismatched tables, chairs, booths and couches are tucked throughout the inside of the bar. There's also a straight up bar seating area, which I totally love and is the best place to chat with random local folks. Part of the charm of the Manhattan is that you can totally go in by yourself, sit at the bar and end of meeting lots of interesting people. I was so glad to see that this had not changed a bit since I had been away for 6 years. Second only to my love of dives bars, is popcorn. And this popcorn machine really comes through after a long night drinking in a little dive like this. Even though there are windows, this bar is always dark (just how I like em) and you just lose track of all time. I was just there during winter break & was pretty jazzed to see a ton of hot rum and whisky cocktails. Perfect since it was super cold out. The Manhattan was always one of my fav & deliciously divey downtown drinking spots and so glad to see it still is.

If anything, it looks a little sketchy from the outside given the bars on the window, but it's not a sketchy place at all. Believe me when I say this. I stopped in on a Monday night for a nightcap. It was nice and quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for that particular evening, the following day being a travel day for me. As you can see from my pics, it's a nice little place. Drink prices were very reasonable, and the bartending was very good, too. I will happily stop in again when I return to Athens next year. Cheers!
