Honestly, like a typical college watering hole, it looks like a good cleaning is in order. The atmosphere was electric on this autumn, football weekend Friday night. Service was helpful and friendly, beer ice cold and cocktails well poured. Several in our group ordered, and recommended, their burger and fries. They were both great and the skin on fried potatoes were cut in house - not frozen!

Few of the ingredients are "multi-purposed" for different dishes, which means everything is prepared (not just cooked) for order. By keeping the menu short, TWF is able to specialize and perfect each of the dishes. Prices are same as the local chain restaurants, but you're getting much better quality here.

All of the drinks I've had (espresso martini, margarita, cosmo, and redline) are very strong! I recommend ordering off the signature drink section (on the front part of the menu) because they are crafted and taste better than the generic bar drinks (on the back bottom part of the menu). My husband loves the raspberry sour. The place has indoor and outdoor seating with ambient lighting. The decor and vibes are nice, mature, and upscale. There are two single stall bathrooms available for use. The hours are unique, so I'd keep that in mind if you're planning on spending time here (Tues-Sat 5-10pm). Great place for parties of 2-6ish! Locals know it well -it's been serving the neighborhoods around Normaltown for decades-and it looks the part., Food: 5 stars for their Cincinnati-style chili on French fries , by the bowl, or with hotdogs. Facility: 2- star (Sorry-but it's true) Old interior, but they have attempted to keep it serviceable. The bathrooms are a good reason to use hand sanitizer instead of washing your hands, IMHO.
