Didn't need it but it was good on it. The veal was cooked to perfection. The fries were addictive. We both tried but both had to leaves some fries. Portions were very nice size. Le Mazot is not a large restaurant. It probably seats about 30 inside and has an outdoor area that can accommodate about the same. On our visit both areas were full. A big pot of molten and winy cheese, long-handled forks, plenty of good crusty bread, and a couple of bottles of the local red made this a fully satisfying and convivial treat on a frosty December evening in Switzerland. The service is very nice, and patient (that is, way better than average in that part of Europe). Accompanied by some swiss Fendant, the meal is a delight, starting with some platter of dried meat and salami, croutes au fromage, or the even more appetizing "croutes au delices de nos bois", with wild mushrooms.
