I would give Butterluxe ZERO stars if I could. Natalie shaved my dog DOWN TO HIS SKIN without my permission. When I picked him up, he had visible cuts and scratches across his body, including on his FACE. I was horrified by the condition he was returned to me in. When I asked Natalie why she shaved him so severely, she told me that he "hasn't been there in ten months." That explanation made absolutely no sense to me. While he may not have been groomed at Butterluxe during that time, my dog is groomed consistently every 6-8 weeks by another groomer. Regardless, I NEVER authorized Natalie to shave him down to the skin. There was no phone call asking for my permission before making such a drastic decision and no warning that she intended to shave him this short. The way Jessica, the OWNER, handled my concerns afterward was equally unacceptable. I called her because I was understandably extremely upset about the condition in which my dog was returned to me. Jessica did not apologize. Instead, she raised her voice at me and defended the groomer. I was not offered an apology or any meaningful attempt to address my concerns, and Jessica ultimately HUNG UP ON ME in the middle of our conversation. What made the situation even more troubling was Jessica's account of the drop-off. Jessica claimed that she was present when I dropped my dog off and that she personally witnessed the conversation between Natalie and me. She was not. Jessica was not present for that conversation. I know exactly who I spoke to and who was standing there. Those are the facts of my experience. I entrusted Butterluxe with an animal I love and expected him to be treated carefully and for me to be consulted before any drastic change to his grooming. Instead, he was shaved down to the skin without my authorization, I found cuts and scratches on him afterward, and when I called the owner to address what happened, I was met with defensiveness rather than an apology. The lack of communication and the way my concerns were handled were completely unacceptable to me. I would NEVER allow Jessica or Natalie to care for my dog again, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Butterluxe. If you are considering bringing your pet here, I strongly suggest thinking very carefully about who you are trusting with your animal. read more

Jessica is our savior! Our 70 lb Pitbull hates getting his nails clipped, it's always been an issue, we can't do it ourselves, and we can never find a groomer who will take him. Booking a nail appointment wasn't even an issue from the start. She offers a one dog at a time service, she's very professional, trustworthy, easy to book with and communicate with, and her services are priced right. I honestly can't think of a better situation. Jessica is Amazing to say the least. She has a way of making you and your pup immediately comfortable as you walk through the door. Long story short I have a rescue Shitzu that has always been awful at the groomer, it's been recommended that I put him under because he is aggressive. Jessica was able to work with him on the first visit. I wish I found her years ago!!! Butter Luxe is clean and inviting. I found my happy little guy playing and relaxed when I picked him up. Jessica is the Best in the Country!! Our Westie finally got a proper Westie cut. Tillie smells so delicious and feels so much softer. Jessica really took her time with everything. It's been really difficult to find a good groomer for my pup. So glad I found Jess! She takes one dog at a time and truly takes her time with your dog. She came back happy(usually comes back scared and wanting to leave) and SO clean and soft. Her nails weren't rough and bleeding like other places. 10/10 would recommend. read more

No groomer would touch our elderly 16 year old dog due to health issues and he was matted and overgrown. Jessica was compassionate and helped us working with our vet.
