Loved the photo op area!

I am impressed with this hospital. It's big and clean and very organized. I work an another animal hospital in North Jersey but they are far away. I'll use Oakhurst Vet Hospital on occasions when I cannot make it up there.

Love the front desk crew all the way back to the groomers!!! Of course the Doctors are top notch. Shout out to Dr C for loving/treating my dog as if it was his own. Every time I take my pup down Monmouth Rd whether we are going to vet or not he starts crying (joyful cry) when we are a few streets away.

Before Hugo's first visit with his new veterinarian.

Professional and knowledgeable doctors who care about your pet. Very pricey though and seem to push meds a bit much.

The Prince and the Pawper - AMAZING GROOMER AND ESTABLISHMENT a mere 4 days after horrible experience with another establishment.

FANTASTIC CARING STAFF AND GROOMER! Very well educated on the breed of dog, which is a rare Coton…read moreDe Tulear. We were told by another establishment last Wed (it's Monday) she would have to be shaved down to the skin in order for them to service us. The other establishment refused payment and handed me a wet shaking dog refusing to work on her, claiming she had knots in her hind quarters. THIS GROOMING SALON clearly knew how to groom our puppy in a mere 1.5 hours and were kind and honest throughout the process! I am aware with long haired dogs it is easy to get knots and happens frequently which is why we comb her daily, sometimes multiple times a day if wet outside. But irregardless there will always be some matt we miss or that happens on route etc. This doggie spa was nothing but amazing, fitting us in last minute and making our 7 month old Coton puppy beautiful and shorter to prepare for her spay this week. Unlike the other establishment who felt it necessary to slander and libel businesses that had nothing to do with them nor ever never serviced them (ex photography services served for newborn babies the past that have nothing to do with a dog groomer), THIS GROOMER was nothing but PROFESSIONAL. What a client does, did, or their personal business should have nothing to do with services being rendered, as it is completely irrelevant, and I am just so happy to report the kindness received from The Prince and Pawper grooming salon and store. I was not made to feel like I didn't have worth; I felt respected and valued which is extremely important. I have dealt with the worst unfortunately in the past, and my poor puppy was so traumatized last week with the former establishment, she had the runs when being groomed today, having to relive the trauma of being freezing and shaking and being forced to leave and denied service simply because we refused to shave our dog! (This was the prior establishment, not P&P!) Prince and Pawper has groomed other Cotons and knew how to deal with matts as they arrive. FIVE STARS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE AND ACCOMMODATING OUR NEEDS. We will be clients for life! Kindness and respect goes a long way!

Sam talked with me about everything she was going to do and when I picked up my pup, Sam went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and looked great! Groomer came out - had a brief convo about his meds and the look. She, Meli, didnt really try to connect with Bo at all - petting, eye contact, etc- which I found a bit disarming and walked back to the groom room. Very cold atmsphere overall. Bo was done in 2 hours- and I was told he had trouble standing and was asked if he had leg issues and explained again he was medicated to lessen the stress due to the epilepsy. Was told he was being charged as an x-large dog ( he is 65 pds). He had never been considered an xl before and I didnt understand the charge..Grooming was terrible .. Paid and left. Heres where the larger problem begins. Decided to speak to owner before I would write a negative review. She called back promptly - she was defensive, angry and although did ask what I wanted to make it better (I should of said full refund but didnt want her to yell at me more than she already had). She said grooming costs are basically subjective as to what the groomer wants to charge and how long the groom takes. She said my dog was OVERmedicated and thats why there may have been an issue, but then added that many dogs come in medicated and that I should be more understanding of the grooming issues because I dont know her business etc etc Basically, she spoke over me the entire time nastily and defensively and I was responding with "oh my gd" because I could not believe how I was being yelled at. I had to hang up the phone- could not get a word in edgewise and the defensiness and berrating continued when she called back. She said I kept "coming at her" and didnt have answer an answer for her question "what can I do to make it right". Honestly- I dont even know what would make it right. Maybe a kinder simpler conversation. So much disrespect and defensiveness tells me that it isnt the 1st time shes had complaints. She told me that her place "was not the place for me" No sht! New to the area- terrible 1st grooming experience.. Very disappointing...

I feel good knowing he's safe there. We tried boarding overnight and it seemed to work out fine. Going to try more because we are going on a trip this summer and can't take him with us. They even have a pool-haven't tried it yet but will since we have a water dog. The staff is very friendly and seems to really like what they do, are competent, and care about the dogs which is very important to me. I highly recommend Greenleaf for care and socialization of your dog.

My husband and I visited on Friday to prepay and schedule our reservation for the next day. We were informed that the facility opened at 8:00 AM. We arrived at 7:50 AM on Saturday and waited until 8:15 AM, at which point a staff member informed us that the doors do not open until 9:00 AM on Saturdays. He stated that we would need to pay an additional $15 for early admission, which my husband paid. We were told that our dog's rabies medallion was insufficient proof of vaccination, which is something we should have been told the day before. While the staff member suggested our dog could stay in isolation with a waiver, the delay made us late for the wake of my father-in-law. Consequently, our dog had to remain in our car for the duration of the wake and funeral. Thankfully, it was a cool day but I did not want this for my dog. Nor had I planned to go back and forth to check on my dog on such an emotional day. When I called at noon to see if she could still be dropped off and put in isolation, a different staff member informed me this was not permitted. We have been told that we cannot be reimbursed for the daycare and early admission fees and will instead receive a credit. While we acknowledge the missing vaccination documents, we believe the information we presented was misread. We are frustrated that we paid for services we did not receive due to conflicting information from the staff. I emailed a letter stating our grievances to management but did not receive a response. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this situation was not handled properly and I would hate for someone to go through the same situation.
