Great customer service! Great job on my pups! Fair price and convenient! I vote yes for Dawg Joint

Love Cindy the owner!! Over 14 years experience. My dogs love her and come out with a beautiful mane well manicured.

I have been going to these groomers for 3 years. Bob and Cindy are the most caring people and treat the dogs with care and love. They do a wonderful job grooming. They have recently moved into a fabulous space just down the alley from their former space. They have lots of room for the dogs to play before grooming or for daycare. If your pet prefers to be by him or herself, just tell them and they will take care of that as well. read more

I am always happy with my very large King Shepherd who has so much long hair! Amazing job every-time for over 6 years!

I cannot say enough good things about Cindy and her staff. They treated my little old chihuahua like their own. Twitch looked and smelled wonderful And they made certain that due to his age and heart condition, that they expedited his grooming. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. read more

What a great find. I had brought down my pooch to Asbury for the weekend as my hotel was dog friendly and so are several restaurants in the neighborhood. I needed a place to store Zoey after I had checked out of the hotel as my friends and I were heading to the beach. The owners could not have been nicer. They took her in and kept her in a cool area while I melted my ass off on the beach. I really only have a few rules when I leave my dog in anyone else's care and they are pretty simple to follow. Don't lose her, don't kill her (kidding, not kidding)... anything else, fair game. Well, obviously neither happened here. She was happy as a clam when I picked her up later in the day. I will definitely be using their services again the next time I return to Asbury Park. Such a friendly, safe, family-run joint. read more

I started going to the Dawg Joint with my last dog, Seamus. Seamus was my 'soul dog' that dog you get who watches your life and shares the ups and downs. We had each other for 17 years. Towards the end of his life I decided it was too much to drive him to his usual groomer who was in a town in North Jersey where we used to live. I tried the Dawg Joint. Seamus was older but still active, but had lost a lot of his ability to move his back legs. I will never forget pulling up to the Dawg Joint and seeing Bobby waiting at the door for me. He knew he situation and was waiting to carry Seamus in. If this sounds dramatic, too bad. I will never bring my dogs to another place. Cindy and Bobby treat my dogs like they are the most important things in the world and I could not imagine a more living or caring place.my 2 rescues are skittish everywhere, but when we pull up there they run right in. That's the only testimony I need. read more

We had the most amazing experience having our dogs nails trimmed at dawg joint! I finally found a place willing and able to cut his nails without sedating him! Cindy and Alli truly amazing! read more

I brought my rescue pup Archie here today to get groomed. We had a previous experience at a groomer in my town that did not go well. The other groomer had him there for three hours and did nothing besides a bath and nails. They said he was too nervous and they couldn't help me. The kicker is that they still charged me for next to no work. Let me tell you, Cindy is amazing. Archie was so happy and looked amazing. When I told her about my horror story and she said that they lost an opportunity to work with a great dog. They just loved him and I will only be bringing him here. Thanks again! read more

Simply the best. They are great people and do a great job grooming my dog. They treat our dog with kindness and respect and the prices are also great. Can't say enough. I prefer local businesses to the national chains and will always support small business when I can. But in this case they are so much better it is a joy to do business with them. read more

I have 4 dachshunds ranging in age from 16 years to 4 months. The seniors have some health concerns-one is blind, the other has disc disease-and I always know they're safe under Cindy's care. The puppies are long haired, and she does a fantastic job with the cuts- this lady knows her business. I've been to other groomers in the area but nothing compares to the way we are treated at The Dawg Joint- there's something to be said for an owner-operated business. Our calls are always returned, appointments are easy to schedule, we're always greeted with a smile and hugs for our pups, and they get them in and out. No one is left sitting in cages for hours on end, and our dogs are always happy when we pick them up. If you're looking for a groomer in the Jersey Shore area, look no further- they're awesome. Highly recommend. read more

I can't say enough about these wonderful people. Cindy was an absolute godsend for my sweet Nya in her last years. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her help and advice. Cindy and Bob treat every dog who comes to their place like their own. You won't find a groomer or daycare that will take better care of your dog! read more

Our puppy's first daycare experience was at the Dawg Joint, and now we try to bring him there every week or two! We love the staff, the other pups, and the atmosphere. They also do an amazing job with grooming him/giving him baths, etc. Definitely recommend! read more

I stopped in with my puppy and was looking for a harness to fit him. The owner came over , tried a bunch on him and then when found one that fit , she ripped off the tag and said this is on the house. I had never been in there before. Her hospitality and love for animals was so clear. Jack says thank you and we will be back for all his supplies ! Thank you! read more

Went in here the other day for a dog walker recommendation. The owner, Cindy was very friendly and offered plenty of names of people to contact. I look forward to shopping here regularly, and plan on using them as my dog's groomer. Cindy even offered to watch after our dog one day so we could run some errands. He had a great time with her, and Cindy couldn't be more friendly or welcoming. Definitely my new regular pet store :) read more

Love them! They say 3's a charm... This was the third groomer I brought my silktese to and I won't be going anywhere else! Yes sometimes you have to leave a message (obviously they are working) but they return calls very quickly, They are super friendly and my pup always comes out happy, smelling pretty and looking great! read more

The staff/owners at The Dawg Joint are so amazing and welcoming. They are so great with dogs and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. I didn't have my Dog groomed there as I was just in town for the weekend but I will definitely feel comfortable taking my pup there for grooming needs when I make it back to Asbury Park in the future. Remy, their dog is awesome too, such a cutie! read more

Fantastic! The owner Cindy is friendly, knowledgeable, and my dog took to her right away. She is the only groomer I trust with my dog.

Bob and Cindy are the best, always treating our pups with patience and kindness! Timmy, our rescue had extensive spinal surgery and Cindy always takes the extra time needed to handle him correctly to keep him safe. Our other rescue Dulce,is very anxious and again Cindy greets her with a warm and calming voice making her feel much more relaxed and comfortable. How lucky we our to have a place that cares so much for our dogs? Thank you Bob and Cindy!!! Craig and Joanne Woodland read more

My Yorkie Coco is a wild child and rolls in the sand every morning on the beach so she gets tangled. I let her hair grow a bit long and she resembled John BonJovi in the 80's. I brought her to the Dawg Joint and she was so comfortable with them she rolled on her back and let them shave her belly no problem. She now looks like a beautiful young lady and they didn't buzz her, thank goodness, just short. I totally recommend them!!! Also, they didn't take all day! read more

The Dawg Joint is just awesome! Cindy and Bob care for your pets like their own, They are also conveniently located in downtown Asbury Park. They cared for my puppy in their doggie daycare program. She had such a great time - she can't wait to visit! They also provide grooming services. I have a very large cat and they were so sweet and patient grooming her. I highly recommend them :)! read more

They are the best. My dog is very difficult with his nails. I was actually asked by the people at Petsmart to leave half way through a grooming session. They suggested I take him to a vet to get his nails cut. Anyway, my dog always leaves here happy and looking and smelling great. Usually, with a nice neckerchief. Another perk is that we can grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in walking distance while we wait. read more

Cindy and Bobby run a great grooming and doggie day care. My wife and I were unaware Asbury Park didn't allow dogs on the boardwalk. Bobby and Cindy accommodated us in watching our dog and getting two huge knots out of his ear due to him having to wear a cone for a couple weeks. They truly care about your pet and run a nice business. Thank you again and cannot wait to visit again!!!!! read more

The staff was very friendly & the store was clean & had a nice variety of products. They groom too, They had a fussy customer there when I shopped & they made sure her dog was adorable & beautifully groomed which how some Jersey women can be very demanding (never happy it seems) the owner smiled & stayed very sweet and the customer left with a smile. Great shop in Asbury Park that I'll be going back to when in that town, and bring my dog in for some pampering next visit :) read more

Been using the Dawg Joint for years now. They treat our dog like he is family and I can tell they treat the pets well since our dog shows no hesitation when we go in and seems to love to see the staff and much as the staff loves to see him! Very responsive and accommodating, great local groomer. read more

Cindy was very friendly and took great care of our dog Buddy! She was very caring and did exactly what we wanted for the cut. We have been to a few other groomers and whenever we pick him up there always seems to be a surprise (hair shaved close, cut different than we described) but with Cindy - it was exactly what we asked for! She also seems to be very knowledgeable with dog allergies and gave us some tips for keeping them under control. Thank you Cindy! read more

They are the best I call them they make sure they get back to you and they treat all the animals like family

Since I found the Dawg Joint, I no longer have that worried feeling when I leave my dog with the groomer. I know our dog is being treated like a cherished friend. Recommended without any reservations--top of the line! read more
