I brought my vehicle in for a simple service inspection and asked to be present so I could point…read moreout specific areas of concern that needed to be documented for another dealership. I was respectful and clear about what I was trying to accomplish. I was told certain components were fine and did not need replacement, despite being advised otherwise by an Audi dealership. When I calmly explained that I wanted to ensure accuracy since this is a Ford dealership and not an Audi specialist, one of the service technicians responded in an extremely unprofessional and aggressive manner. He told me, "You have no idea what you're talking about. Keep running that effing mouth of yours and I will refuse you service." He then continued to repeat this while backing away, attempting to intimidate me. I was honestly shocked by the behavior and how quickly the situation escalated despite me remaining respectful the entire time. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told none were available. When I asked for the technician's name, staff were hesitant and vague, and I was told this kind of behavior "happens all the time," which is even more concerning. The technician that caused this altercation is named David. This was a very disappointing experience. No customer should be spoken to or treated this way under any circumstances.

We were in Ashland, Oregon when the Check Engine light came on in my car, and we needed to drive…read moreback to California. We just weren't sure we could get home safely. We called TC Chevrolet and spoke to Sean (not sure if I'm spelling his name right) in the service department, who told us he didn't have time to get us in for repairs, but that if we brought the car in he'd let us know why the Check Engine was on. Long story short, we got there and he came out, plugged in his diagnostic and told us it was related to actuators for the oil pressure, which was fine (and had just been changed, too.) He cleared the error and told us in his opinion, it was safe to drive the car back. It was running pretty well, but that annoying light had me worried.... until he explained everything to us. We got home safely. The light came on again on the way home, but the car ran fine. And then the light went out, and has stayed out. Car is Happy. I am Happy. :) I am grateful for his help and assurances that the car was okay to drive. He didn't charge us for his service (which took maybe 2 minutes, but dealerships, we all know, do like to charge for services rendered). It's nice to know there are really nice people out there who go out of their way to help others. Stellar, is how I would describe my experience with TC Chevrolet.

Jerry, Ralph, and Stephanie all worked very hard to be certain we got exactly what we wanted. We decided on the wonderful Chevy Cruz! What a fun, well appointed, and efficient vehicle. We were pleased to find such a value priced car with so many features. The backup camera is a real bonus, and the navigator, OnStar, and XM Radio really round out the whole package. The exterior and interior styling elements are exquisite! We are proud to have such great looking vehicle. From arrival, through testing out several cars, to the financing and final paperwork, these folks were all top notch and we recommend them very highly. The Ashland shop could have done what we needed, they called about 8:30, but I was already in Milford. They did a crash-wrap for free (would not accept any money), I promised to make a donation to their local high school boosters. We were traveling & could not wait several days for them to get the new back window. I love supporting local, small businesses!

Jim replied the same business day and made a sincere attempt to understand my concerns. He also apologized and provided context for my negative experience, which I appreciated. Most importantly, he explained steps Bill's Glass was taking to improve the customer intake process in Ashland. Jim's intervention addressed my issues with the Ashland shop and has restored my faith in buying local. Initial one-star review: Do yourself a favor and work with Bill's Glass in Medford instead. I'm not going to identify/shame the individual by name, but the person responsible for intake in Ashland is incompetent, and you'll find yourself frustrated with the shop's inability to provide basic customer service. They make commitments, fail to meet them and then just make excuses. Sorry, I know it's inconvenient to have to travel to Medford when we have a Bill's glass in town, and I believe it's important to support local businesses. But without dramatically improved customer service in Ashland you will be frustrated and, several weeks later wind up going to Bill's in Medford anyway.
