First I want to start off by saying that I am not one to normally leave reviews like this but after what this company did to us I want to make sure everyone knows what they are getting themselves into before they hire them. When I first called to get a quote I was quoted at $175 do clean my house without including the 4 bedrooms for a deep clean. Then I called again to ask her to include the bedrooms after all and she quoted me at another $100 for so $275 for the entire home. I have a small 4 bedroom home. They were supposed to come on a Saturday morning and then on Friday she text me asking if they can come Friday instead after the 2 pm so that they wouldn't have to work on Saturday. I agreed, they didn't get her until after 5 pm. When the 2 ladies got to my home one of them looked so exhausted and said that they were extremely tired from doing a few other homes earlier that day. Now to make a long story short, after only cleaning the 2 small restrooms and part of the kitchen they tell me that they are very exhausted and that they will have to come back a different day to finish the rest of the house. Then she asks me to pay her $275 and that a tip is greatly appreciated!!! Mind you, the $275 was the quote I got for the entire home. Then she tells me that it's that amount because they charge by the hour and that they had already been cleaning for 2 hrs and 45 minutes. They did not finish the kitchen and never called me again to come back to do the rest of the home!!!! Be careful with this company because it looks like I'm not the only one that this has happened to! Thank goodness for my coworker who recommended someone else and this lady came and did my ENTIRE home for much less than what they charged and without asking for a tip. Gloria quoted me 2 to 3 hours for $200-$300. It took 3 hours but then she charged $400. The cleaning was average and left a dirty mop smell. The main reason I give a one star is because they parked their van on my brand new driveway and left an oil stain. read more

Gloria was very professional and I was in a hurry to find someone to help clean our old condo when we moved out. We planned on doing the work on our own, but realized how long and hard we were going to have to work to do a move-out cleaning, and we just couldn't handle it! We were exhausted from the move into our new townhouse, and were having so many problems that we just decided to spend the money to have a pro do the cleaning. Did a google search, happened to find Busy Bee and read the yelp reviews. I was impressed. So, they came out in the evening and I met them at our old place, but I was pretty tired and decided to just let them do their thing and I was going to go home. Gloria told me if I had any issues or concerns with their work to just give her a call. Well, the net morning I went in to check it out and honestly I was a little shocked LOL! The place was SOOOOO clean and it looked brand new! WAY better than I could've done on my own. I was extremely impressed and now I will recommend them to anyone! I called one week ago to schedule a thorough spring cleaning. I was given a morning appointment time. The service did not show up on time. I called when they were an hour late, and was told that they called me last night to change my appointment time. I told them that I did not receive the message. Next, I was told that they would be at my house within 15 - 30 minutes. Still no show, I finally get a phone call from them 2 and 1/2 hours after they were supposed to be here, saying that they were on their way. All the while I sat here waiting for them. I told them not to bother coming and that they should check with the customer as to what time the customer needs them to come, not what time they want to come. I work the afternoon shift and cannot afford to have someone show up late or when they want to. I think this company provides poor customer service and I won't be calling them again! read more

I have been using Busy Bee House Cleaning since 2010. They do an outstanding job on my house and are very accommodating if I have specific things I want done, like oiling my dining room table. They routinely clean my exterior windows and dust my fans, which I didn't really expect. We hired Busy Bee to do a standard house cleaning. We have a 5 bedroom home and only required 3 out of the 5 bedrooms to be cleaned in addition to the rest of the house. It normally takes about 3 hours for the exact same cleaning service from our past cleaning service. When they finished I was informed that none of our blinds downstairs were cleaned because they ran out of time. Previous companies have always been able to get our blinds cleaned on both floors of our home within the 3 hour window along with everything else. The lady who spoke to me actually had the tenacity to argue with me on how long it takes to clean a house when all I was doing was letting her know we were disappointed that the blinds did not get completed as we expected them to be. I made her aware that our past cleaning company always got our blinds fully done in the time window and she decided to tell me that was hard to believe and she did not see how it was possible for a cleaning company to do everything they did in 3 hours. She then went through everything they cleaned and said they also cleaned all of the baseboards in the house which took extra time which was why the blinds could not get completed. Every item on the list was part of our previous normal cleaning service, with exception of the baseboards as I discovered later from my wife. However after they left I went through the house including our bedroom, loft area, family room, etc. and checked all the baseboards that she said they cleaned and they were all dirty still. so she tried to use that as the reason why our blinds were not cleaned when they never even did the baseboards. That was seemingly a flat out lie. If they did actually do them, they did such a terrible job I cannot imagine how anyone would look at them and say they were cleaned as they were still covered in dust and dirty in spots. The mere fact that she actually was arguing with me about what our other cleaning service did or did not do is enough in it's own for me to not want this company back in my home again. If it also is true that she lied to me about the baseboards then that would make them untrustworthy. I do give a benefit of the doubt that either they did clean them and did a horrible job or that maybe she honestly thought they got cleaned by one of the others but they did not. They showed up late then expected, almost 2 hours late. I had postpone my work, because of them. The service that girls did was exceptional, while they were there I had a chance to speak with 2 of them. I paid good money to get my place cleaned, but ladies that were cleaning my house get paid next to nothing. First of all, they dont get paid for driving which is 25% of their time there. Next, they have to pay for their own income, which is already close to minimum wage. Its just sounded like slavery in my books. The appointment was set for 2, 3 ladies showed up at 2:20. They started slowly, at 3:30 two ladies left. I called and let the manager know and she reminded me they charge by the hour, yet 2 ladies left and only one stayed. The one lady that stayed was over 50 and looked like she had been in prison, she had a bad leg and complained about her pain the whole time. Her work showed (very poor). The other two ladies returned at 4:30. They retouched what they did not do well and left at 5:30. I was charged $190 for 2 hours. Once they left, I spent the next 2 hours mopping my floor again and cleaning the bathrooms correctly. Would you call them back? Not me. True story. read more

I was excited to have the busy bee ladies come clean my house after having a baby and realizing it wasn't possible to do it myself. The work they did seemed inconsistent but my main complaint was that they broke a small picture frame and stained my shower curtain. If they had just told me about these accidents, that would have been fine. But instead they left me to find these things on my own, which I definitely do not appreciate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISE. I made a few attempts to call Busy Bee on a Thursday afternoon, and there was no answer, no answering machine, nothing. What business doesn't have an answering machine/service or receptionist to take calls. A red flag I thought, but I was desperate to get our home professionally cleaned before we moved in, so I kept calling. I then sent out an email to the company, and by 4pm that same day, I got an actual person on the phone: Gloria. I informed Gloria of my needs: a move-in clean on our newly purchased home and I also informed her that the previous owners were pretty nasty. The home looked more like it had been a foreclosure, vacant for years, rather than a home with 2 adults and 5 children. The amount of filth on the floors, layers of dust on all vents, ceiling fans, blinds and base boards; toothpaste and gum on the walls and melted candy-corn, skittles and M&M's spewed just about everywhere. Gloria gave me a quote of $95/hr (a "special price" according to Gloria) and we set up an appointment for the very next day between 1:00-1:30pm. Great I thought to myself. The task of cleaning our home could be left to professionals and my husband and I could focus on the business of moving. At my appointed scheduled time, there was No Gloria or her cleaning crew. At 1:33pm, Gloria called to say that her and her team ran behind on another job and would be at my home in 45-minutes to an hour. Another red flag, but I thought to myself, I needed the home cleaned before the movers arrived the next day. At 2:47pm, Gloria and her team arrived. Gloria and I did a walk through of the home where I outlined what I wanted done an what my expectations were. As a self-proclaimed clean freak, I was so pleased when Gloria started lifting the blinds off the window sills, and climbing into the shower to assess what needed to be cleaned. At 2:55pm, I left my home with the understanding that she would call me 30 minutes before completion so that I could do a final walk through and pay for the services rendered. At 8:12pm, Gloria called. Thankfully, I was only a few minutes away, so I was able to respond immediately. I arrived at my home and walked into the door. The first thing that caught my attention was the wonderful floral smell. Great I thought. This is a good sign. It was 8:20 and Goria was mopping the Kitchen floor. The rest of her team, with the exception of her husband Adam, were already loaded up into the fan. I noticed that there were not as many team members on site, as had originally arrived, 1 less cleaning van and 2-3 additional children that were not there when the team arrived. The van was loaded and the running. I inspected the bathrooms immediately, baseboards and appliances. Ok job I thought. A lot better than before they started. At 8:30pm Gloria and her team were all done. Gloria charged me $570.00 (6 hours of work she said) although they had only been in my home 5 hrs and 45 minutes. Ok I thought. The house looked better than before, and I was pleased with the smell certainly. I paid Gloria and she and her family went on their way. The next morning, as I waited for the movers, I WAS HORRIFIED BY THE THINGS I FOUND! Gum on the laundry room floor (which had been mopped?) The windows in the formal living room were only cleaned to a point as far as one of the team could reach. The other half of the window was left untouched. My question immediately was, did they not have a step ladder? If they couldn't clean all the windows, does that mean the ceiling fans, which were higher, were also missed. Gloria advertised window cleaning, inside and out. She advertised cleaning ceiling fans and vents. But with no ladders, how is this possible. My fears were confirmed. The ceiling fans were still dusty, the bathroom windows were not cleaned, and I still found skittles on the floor in the kitchen. I was disgusted by the findings. I was looking for a company that would clean my home at move-in and an ongoing basis. Instead I found this company that overcharged me, did not clean the home. My home smelled nice, but that smell has now faded. It is Saturday and I must now find another cleaning crew to come in to clean up what Gloria, Adam and the rest of their "cleaners" left behind. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you expect your home to smell nice, they will deliver, but if you expect your home clean, go elsewhere. Gloria and Adam, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. You arrived an hour and 15 minutes late for our appointment, and you "cleaned" for 5.75 hours. You charged me for 6 hours and you left my windows filthy, my ceiling vans dusty and my vents were not touched. You both promised a lot, but you did not deliver on that promised. I feel like you scammed me and it is for this reason I am taking the time to write this lengthy review. read more

I work for a water restoration comp-any in Chandler AZ, we hired Busy Bee to come & clean a house after we were done doing our work. They did a HORRIBLE JOB!! Our Project manager has to pay another employee to re clean. They call us every week to try to get a check from us, which we tell them that we don't agree we should have to pay the whole price since they SUCK. I have been using Busy Bee for about 2 years and I look forward to having the team come in and clean, they always do an exceptional job. I have 2 young children and 3 cats, so thrown food on the floor and cat-hair dust bunnies are normal for my house, but they always make the place look and smell great. Scheduling can be difficult at times, especially if you can't stick to a normal schedule. And don't expect the crew to be punctual - but that is par for this industry. They have shown up early, on time and late. The latest they have ever been is 2 hours, which if you'be had cleaners before, you know is normal for afternoon appointments. Overall, I would recommend Busy Bee to my friends, the quality of the cleaning is well worth it and the ladies doing the work are very nice. read more

I have been a customer of Busy Bee House Cleaning for over 10 years. The crew is very professional and thorough. They have done move-in and move-out cleans for me, as well as weekly and bi-weekly service. They are quick and thorough each time. You get what you pay for. As for the previous comments about the employees being paid poorly, I do not know what the women who work for the company are paid, but I can say that the same women have been with the company for quite awhile; it seems like turnover is low. I would imagine that if they were unhappy they might seek employment elsewhere. I know the owner and I can't imagine that she would try to take advantage of anyone. If you want a thorough cleaning they do a good job but if you want someone who is going to come on time forget it they were several hours late and I had to call them to find out where they were. Professionalism says they should have called me when they knew they would be late. 4 people showed up and after they left 4 pieces of my jewelry was missing, one was a very expensive ring I inherited from my mom when she passed so when you add the sentiment it was priceless. When the manager Gloria was notified she confirm 1 of the cleaners was new with her company and was also in my room alone to clean windows. She filed a police report but the police have notified me they can not find this woman. This company is supposed to be licensed, bonded and insured. When my husband left a message that we want to file a claim Gloria has ignored the messages for over a week. If you use this company hide anything valuable or that means anything to you or never leave them alone. read more
