Boy, was I wrong. Stay away from repair shops like Village Street Auto and go to Shoubert's Auto Repair. You can't beat him on quality, service, price and integrity. I wish I could give zero stars, I also wish I consulted with Yelp before spending money on things…read more I went here because they had a state inspection coupon for 10$ (this should have been my first red flag) Well me being cheap and knowing my car was in good condition, said what the heck. Well after scrutinizing every square inch of my truck, (longest state inspection I have ever had) they found 1000$ dollars worth of repairs needed. Being the last day of the month the guy tells me I cannot legally drive it as it's failing for safety (trying to convince me to get the work done there) Well 1000$ for an exhaust, a stuck ebrake and non functional Day Time Running lights(which I don't even think my truck has) sounds a little high to me so I took my chances with the law and shopped around. Got 2 other quotes, 750 and 625, both places said the entire exhaust did not need to be replaced and part of it could be fixed with a weld. Part of me wonders if the exhaust really even needed to be replaced at all. It sounded fine and wasn't giving me any trouble. The guy at the desk, didn't get his name, wasn't exactly personable either.

They charged him $700 last time he went for a tune up. I will find a new place to get my car inspection this year!
