This crown is absolutely beautiful. It's a work of art. It has been perfect for the better part of a decade that I've had it; perfectly aligned to the tooth, positioned well, prepared well. It has never hurt, never had puffy gums around it, and I usually forget it's there until I actually see it. I literally get compliments on this particular crown every time I visit other dentists. (I have moved and her practice is out of my insurance network, otherwise I'd still be seeing her) From what I remember of our appointment she was kind, and took the time to answer my questions and explain the process to me. Celeste's attention to detail is phenomenal. And it didn't hurt. All these years later I remember Celeste was blessed with tiny hands, which doesn't necessarily make or break a dentist, but it sure helps! This is ultimately a reflection on the whole office. I had an appointment I waited 6 months for (a cavity to fill) and as the appointment drew closer, they were checking to see if I had the same insurance. I did not. I told them specifically that I had NO INSURANCE and wanted to know the cost if paid by cash. They sent me a "plan" which I was told I had to sign. When I arrived at the appointment on Tuesday, August 6th, the charge was over $100.00 more. When I told them I was disappointed that the charge was so much more, I am unemployed and had budgeted for the original (signed contract) amount, they hummed and hawed and said, " Oh our rates have increased and sometimes the system doesn't catch it". Wrong. Just wrong. I got the contract less than 7 days prior, and that contract should have been honored. I can't do business with this sloppy bookkeeping.

To say it was a disappointing end to a long, painful process is an understatement. I learned about Arete after reaching out for recommendations to an out of state family member who practices dentistry. He told me he had been training with the professionals at Arete to state-of-the-art, minimally invasive cosmetic techniques using a composite material that preserves the integrity of the tooth - and that they were located minutes away in Woods Cross. The process that followed was a convenient online intake where I submitted photos and goals for treatment outcomes. Within the week, I had a virtual consultation. A few days later, I was meeting with my provider, Dr. Jordan Davis to review a digital proposal for my new smile that was designed to create balance and complement the structure of my face. This is equal parts science and art. In addition to being an owner, Dr. Davis is an implant surgeon, an artist, and an absolute perfectionist. There is no ego here, and you are treated like an old friend every time you walk through the door. Fees for services have always been provided clearly.
