Stopped here on the El Paso leg of our road trip because we spotted them on our way through town. We took a gamble as the reviews were mixed (but where we're from, mixed reviewed for a Mexican food place signifies to us the place is pretty good). We were on a budget and just grabbed a couple plates of beef tacos. I like that they came with rice, beans and plenty of veggies. The meat was good and the salsa was very tasty. My companions didn't love it, but I enjoyed my meal well enough. The workers were very helpful and even offered to let us sample anything we were interested in trying, which we appreciated! This place used to be awesome price was good for the burrito size. Today 8-22-2023 i order 4 chile relleno burrito and they were small the tortilla is super big and they DONT use 2 inches on one side and 2 3/4 ON THE OTHER. They tuck in the edges about 1 inch. They reduced the cheese amount and amount of being added to the burritos. For the price $ 5.50 and to top it off a subcharge of .50 cents. I called the place they said the new owner wants less amounts and they are not allowed to give the owners name. What a shame. They get a new owner and reduce the quantities for same amount. Got 2 burritos. They were huge, great flavor and the price was way better than some other over priced places.

The place was small and quiet, with only a few other customers around 11/11:30 am. The cashier was nice. Machaca burrito: scrambled eggs with shredded beef, jalapenos, onions, and tomatoes. It was pretty good but VERY hot (since obviously it was freshly made) and mine was leaking out of the bottom. The horchata was really delicious and a large serving for the price. The burrito and horchata was less than $10 after tax and tip. They also came with little sauces. Wife was starving while at work (from home). She placed an order for a mole and a hotdog burrito. The person on the phone said that they would be ready in 10 minutes. We live 5 minutes away. Sure enough, by the time I got there, the order was ready. The restaurant was clean and well lit. They had to-go menu's available for customers. And the burritos were huge. Stopped in after driving into town and the store front caught my eye. Went in and after spending 5 minutes looking at the long menu, I decided on a beef burrito. I was then notified that the most of the menu wasn't available. Only 5 of the 25 were. I know with Covid, most restaurants are struggling with supplies and workers so I changed to the shredded beef and Chile burrito. The burrito was ok. Seemed a little bland in flavor. Small spot , reliable for delicious food always. Staff is friendly and food comes out quick and hot. They have a wide menu of stuff. Plenty of seats for dinning in and they have also partnered with food delivery services so you can always get your burrito craving any time and any where. They are closed Sunday but don't let that stop you from stoping by for a hidden gem in the city. Burritos are about the size of a forearm. It's easily shareable and filling. I must admit that I was very hesitant to try this place because of its bright colors and over all chain quality look to the outside. One rainy afternoon I decided to stop by and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. It is all cooked very much in a home style manner and with great tasting ingredients. I tried a barbacoa burrito as well as a fajita burrito (both were huge so the fajita was to go), and they were both great. The salsa bar salsas, (3 types) are all tasty, but very spicy so I suggest you sample them if you prefer mild types. The fajitas were so good that I went back the next day for another one. The burritos are about $3.50, but the taste and size makes that a good price. They do serve breakfast in plates and burritos as well. The red chicken enchiladas are very good, but do have a kick. If you have passed by this place and wondered about it like I did, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit the next time you are in the mood for some good cheap Mexican food. I must warn you though, on slow weekends, it appears that they roast their chile peppers for their salsas so you might clear your sinuses if you decide to eat there! Enjoy. read more

I am so happy! I am from CA and miss CA burritos. I was confused by the menu burritos with potatoes and meat but not beans. The lady at the front counter was so patient with me because I was confused and didn't want to take up much time asking for if there's a burrito with shredded beef and beans and there wasn't but I said I'm willing to try it the El Paso way. When I got home I took a bite of the burrito and was surprised they made me the burrito CA style and I felt like the happiest customer in EL Paso right now! I took a bite of the flavorful and nicely wrapped burrito and never in my life have I not needed hot sauce with it and excessive amounts. The burrito was perfecto! The tortilla was fresh and hand made and the burrito was big and held together nicely to the last bite! I'm am going to be one a regular and will be disappointed in burritos in CA now. I don't know about the food being amazing, but it is better than a lot of Mexican places for a breakfast burrito. It's more of a 3.5 star place and a place I go to grab a to go breakfast when I need some actual food vs a smoothie. read more

Went for breakfast, very welcoming and clean place. I had the huevo a la mexicana burrito and added chorizo. They used all fresh ingredients and it was cooked to order. Took a couple extra minutes but well worth the wait! My friend had huevos rancheros and said it was amazing. The have a little salsa bar and they are all made in house. All excellent. i order a burrito and this old lady cashier takes like 3 minutes to find the button on her screen. she like has her face pressed up to it as if she can't see too well.. after an embarrassing long time, she has to ask me what number my burrito is on the menu.. i look and tell her, #11.. and i'm like 'holy crap.. girl cant read?' and she still cant find it, and finally asks the chef about it, who comes over and punches it in for her. not too big of a deal at this point, right? i mean i see the chef put my tortilla and chicken on the plancha, and then i ask my friend wut he wants. he orders and the cashier again is taking forever not knowing how to do it, doing all kinds of detective work.. before she finally asks the chef again for help, who has to explain how to add ingredients and a side of chips. THEN the cashier doesn't know how to swipe my card. accusing me that its expired... when the date clearly showing 2020 (the exp year, not just my vision score). so the chef comes over again to show her, grabbing my card with her hand which is covered in some kinda sauce and smearing it all over my card.. which she then hands back to me. and then she takes a rag and wipes off the credit card machine and i'm like holding my credit card like its diseased wondering wut to do with it. meanwhile, my poor shredded chicken breast has been on the plancha for a good 10 minutes, untouched, when it only needs to be on for 1-2 min with some tossing. it was irredeemably dry and inedible with an impenetrable crust. like a completely unseasoned, overcooked chicken breast wrapped in a tortilla with nothing else inside of it. in the end, i should've been smart enough to ask for a new burrito, so i'll only downgrade to 2 stars. twice fool shame innit. the problem all stemmed from using a completely untrained, apparently illiterate worker in place of a regular shift member. another decent restaurant ruined by shoddy management. i'm sure to come back.. just very dissapointed. read more

We tried this place and LOVED it! I had the chicken fajita and my husband had the beef fajita, they were loaded with meat and very tasty! My girls got a bean and cheese burrito which was good but extremely messy. The beans are not thick so it will run out of the tortillas and all over your plate... That's right eat any burrito from here with a plate! We ordered four burritos and three large horchata's and it was $19 and some change. So a lot off food for the money!
