The chili plate looked a little weak (too much plate showing) but that was the tastiest chilli relleno ever in 40 years of me enjoying these. Served hot with cheese filled up to the ying yang, an extra spiciness I have never had before that I loved and me wishing I had a spoon to scrape up the end of the sauce. How to improve: add more rice/lettuce/beans/something hard for texture (maybe even cook the meat longer to make it not so soft), and add more sour cream or lime or salsa to cut through the fat. Finally and most importantly grill or sear the tortilla at the end to give it some structural integrity.
