The location is right off the river near Horner Park. I quite enjoy this neighborhood brewery's spot as it feels a little hidden away. Inside is open and airy, there's outside patio seating next to the river. They have a bit of food and games every so often. The beer is okay, but the ambiance and vibe feels nice.

Decent place. There was a tour and a Bachelor party on day of my visit so it was quite loud. Plenty of free street parking available. (And not parallel parking! Score for the suburbanites!) Ipas, sours, and other beers available. I had the mango milkshake ipa and it was tasty. Cans and growlers to go. Give them a try while in the area!

This brewery is nice for a casual get together. They have a decent amount of beers they brew which include some sour and even saison styles. Food options are limited and the pizza wasn't great. They allow you to bring in food from outside though. On Thursday nights, a sizable group gathers to play chess.

Fun spot for a chill vibe to enjoy a drink, watch some TV, or even play some board games. This spot reminds me of some of the casual spots I've seen elsewhere in the country, with a bit more upscale than average interior and a setup that's perfect for chatting with friends over beer (instead of coffee). Though the food options here are a bit limited, you can bring food in from the outside. The layout and size of this establishment make it a bit more comfortable to spend a good amount of time here, as it doesn't feel super crowded even when it gets fuller.

Burning Bush Brewery is a great place to spend a weekend afternoon. One of the things that made my friends and I want to try this place is that they are dog friendly, which is such a win! Not to mention, there is also EASY parking that is NOT parallel parking! Another huge win being in the city for those who struggle (I know, I know...). When walking outside, the place doesn't seem like too much, but there is a good amount of space inside and on the patio. All the staff members were interacted with were laid back and willing to make great recommendations. We stayed inside given the temperature at the time and my dog had such a great time, too. The pours were generous and the prices were very decent! There is also a wide variety of choices of beer and wine on tap, as well as some non-alcoholic drinks. They do offer pizza and some other snacks at the bar, but the pizza definitely seemed overpriced for what you get (we saw someone next to us get it). The good thing is that you can bring your own food in without any issues. Hint: their beers pair really well with some burgers ;) Burning Bush is a great place to hang with friends, family, or date night. I'm definitely going to keep coming back here.

Attended a wedding, GREAT space for a wedding, some off street parking (arrive early, you won't regret it) a ton of ambiance. Particularly good for a party or wedding during warmer months as there's an outdoor area that melds when they open the large garage door. The open bar was well stocked with a great variety guaranteed to satisfy. I'll attach a photo of the bar menu. It's a craft brewery with no food menu but I could see the kitchen and the Hors d'Oeuvres, circulated by staff, were plentiful and delicious. The meal served was a salad, baked chicken, broccoli, potatoes and pasta. All were tasty and cooked properly for a large event like a wedding. I don't apply the same standards as I do at an upscale restaurant. Why only 3 stars? For me a major issue is sound. When you can't hear anyone speaking if they are more than inches away, the acoustics are wrong. And here, they actually suck. Brick walls, lovely, but no sound absorbtion. Flat ceiling, again, no sound absorption. Sitting at a round table for 9 there was no way to hear what anyone not seated next to you was saying. AND, the amplified voices of those making speeches were muffled by the volume of the speakers and the sound bouncing off of everything... tragic. Suggestion to the owners: ADD SOUND ABSORPTION TO THE CEILING AND WALLS. A few decorative rugs, canvasses or ?? on the walls, and whatever you like on the ceiling and your venue shoots to a five star review. I'll add, all the staff were pleasant, helpful and professional. Good job hiring and training. Again, loved the venue, wish I could have heard folks talking.

Great brewery with cool beers and nice outdoor patio near the river. Staff is friendly and chill vibes. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and easy parking. It can get pretty packed evening times though. They allow BYOF which is like biergarten vibes so we got some chicken sandwiches to go and only had the beers here. I personally liked the IPAs the most. It is next to a day care so it got overrun with little kids and families pretty quickly at around 3-4. Not a bad or good thing but just something to consider. It may have just been a Friday night thing but that's also when I want to usually go out and try out a new place, so keep that in mind.

A lot of breweries along Irving Park and here's another small one that's a good hangout. Burning Bush only has a few on tap because they value quality over quantity. It certainly has that going for sure. A pretty good variety to choose from. The beers have Bible themes, but drinking religiously is the only thing you'll do though. Cool place just off Irving Park. It's actually located on Rockwell. This is a weird place for a brewery, with not a lot happening it seems. Pretty big place actually. There's quite enough room inside for tables. As I mentioned, all the beers have a Bible theme, but that's as religious as it gets. It's about $7 a pint. I got the Heavenweizen. This is of course a hefeweizen, medium alcohol content and light tasting. Girl got the Sermon On The Malt. This is an English beer, and is malty, but you already knew that. A few more to choose from. They also have a few seasonal ones, so reason to come back for more. Good beers. It doesn't have any food but you can bring some outside food in. This is the closest I'll get to going to church, so catch me here Sundays.

Second time here! Really like this place. They allow dogs inside and out which is a big perk if you're a dog parent! The beers and ambiance is awesome. They don't have much food but do have a few options only the pizza is hot. The pizza is a little pricey for being a frozen pizza but it actually tasted really good. We will be back with our pup in the winter!

    Beer for purchase inside.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. Great patio and excellent beer selection. Tried the "new chicago translation". Crisp and tasty with a light bitter malteness. IPA was great too. Nice staff and cool vibe inside. A must try if you love breweries.

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

To drink, we honored the occasion with imported Guinness stouts, which were light-bodied with a great depth. Per recommendation, we started with the hummus appetizer, and all I have to say is: do not sleep on this! The hummus was super flavorful and well seasoned, served alongside the most delicious grilled za'atar naan. The fresh crudites provided a really nice contrast. Highly recommend! For mains, we ordered the Guinness beef stew and the bangers and mash. The latter was my favorite of the two- the sausages were extra crispy on the outside and very tender. The mashed potatoes were super creamy and the bacon-onion mustard gravy was delicious. My favorite part may have been the brown beer bread served alongside- this stuff is absolutely addictive. I thought the beef stew was also well done with very tender meat, but just wasn't as flavorful as the other entree. Throughout the meal, we were treated to traditional Irish music complete with a bagpipe troupe. We left full and in the holiday spirit- will 100% return and highly recommend making the trip over here!

Our seat allowed both of us to have a view of the kitchen window to watch the chefs prep courses. There were 3-4 servers that serviced the entire dining room and rotated in presenting dishes. They started with warm towelettes to wash your hands which was a nice touch. Service level throughout was impeccable with water refills, explaining the menu, delightful demeanor, fresh silverware per course, and wiping the table clean from anything that dropped. This was certainly one of the best hospitality levels at a one star I've experienced. Dinner was 12 courses including the amuse-bouche and final treats. There was not one course that didn't offer bright, fresh flavors. The presentation of plates were beautiful from every angle. It's hard to pick any top dish as everything was unique and special in their own way; but I am still thinking about the Crab Bite, Sablefish, and Pasta Course.
