This lady that OWNS this place is rude and I will NEVER go there!!! She would not help we with anything over the phone.. no prices no product info nothing.. She said come in with ID and use proper thermology or you will be kicked out.. I said plastic water pipe and she went off on me.. They have a decent selection and fair pricing. However, the few times i've been in a middle aged woman was the only staff member there. She was polite enough, but she didn't understand the selection. I asked for 'wraps' and she was confused, so I said "papers" and she was still confused. So i said, "papers for rolling?" and she was still confused so I just showed her which section behind the counter had the wraps. I also explained what cones and crutches were because she also didn't know what those were. It seems like whoever is training these employees is throwing them into the deep end unprepared. read more

New to the area went in based off the reviews I had read and let me tell you bev is great. Made me feel like I had been there a million times. We had never met but we talked fora good 25 minutes about life and glass and much more. If your looking for a great glass shop burn is the place to go. I went in looking for a vape and she showed me the one she personally loves and I love the devise it's great and she was full of knowledge and info about the device. I remember walking into Burn for the first time and thinking "Yes, this place is legit." Wayyy better than High Tide. After browsing a bit, I tried to strike up a conversation with the gentleman behind the counter about the vape supply in there, mentioning that I make my own juice and build coils. He didn't seem too interested, understandable. Not many older folks are. (He wasn't ancient, maybe late 40s.) "I'm here to pick up one of these," I said, pointing to the bongs in the case. In some other shops around this area you can't call them bongs, you have to call them "water pipes" for "tobacco use". The last time I had said bong in a glass shop, it was High Tide in Albany and I got chewed out!! Why? Because the word "bong" implies the consumption of the DREADED cannabis plant? Well the folks in this smoke shop are NOT like that. In fact, this man said "it's a bong. Call it what it is." And another lady (a customer) said "yeah it's legal, people need to just get over it." I agreed, and I walked out with a flimsy 30 dollar bong, a Bic and hemp wick. The bong was clear with red opalescent color at the base and a simple class cone stemmed bowl with a rubber o-ring seal. I named it Patricia. I knew it was flimsy and I knew what I was paying for, I needed something to last until I could drop some actual cash on a more permanent piece.) Sure enough, Patricia's stem snapped a few weeks later. Could have been my own mishandling but the downstem glass was so thin it is not at all surprising. I got okay use out of it. Now it was time to drop some actual money on a piece. I love this shop so I strut in there and start browsing. I spot the perfect piece. Clear. Single perc, pretty ice catch, wide tapered base. A piece every stoner should own at some point. A piece to be given a name like Vesuvius. A piece with a $75 price tag. But I was sold. I was given a $5 credit on the included cheap ass cone bowl to put towards a blown glass bowl. I walked out carrying Vesuvius smiling. My friends will love it. I made it home, got the water, dropped in a sack of some fire Green Crack, spark, draw, perc, and... Vesuvius is FLAWED. That's right. I wish I could post images so you could see what I'm talking about. I knew the split second I inhaled, a small rapid bubbling separate from the perc. It isn't the stem either, the stem is well made. The glass where the stem fits in is flawed and leaks. I called the shop and informed them of this and politely asked about returns and I was told "It's glass, you are stuck with it. Sorry. Have a good day." 3 stars. Not because they won't replace it, but because they sold flawed glass in the first place. Shops and customers alike I have learned my lesson now you all must learn yours! Check your products! You are obviously sticking some hefty price tags on things without even putting water in it to see if it works? TO THE BURN SMOKE SHOP, I will just say for one, a no refund policy for a smoke shop is beyond understandable. But this is different. This is a manufacturer defect on a pricey item. You should be able to get credit back from wherever you ordered it from. I took rubbing alcohol and salt and the body is ENTIRELY clean right now too, if that was a concern of yours.
