I'm not sure where to start, but this store has gone downhill big time. Obviously, with the Christmas season, things get ugly. The lines from the cash register were backed up to the back of the store. In previous years, I've never seen it this bad. However, there were several registers open which I assume they were doing the best they could. I know being understaffed is a big issue today in the work world, but something needs to be addressed about it, even outside the Christmas season. Looked at this store during my visit to the pallisades mall on Wednesday April 10th 2024. Looked very organized, and clean. Exactly like the commercials on tv you see, they have everything from clothes, coats, homegoods, perfume, toys, shoes, and beauty items. Looked around, and found nothing of interest but, it was worth looking here. I didn't buy anything though, maybe i will if i am ever here again! read more

PROS: Their variety was plentiful as a clothing store and they had a lot of inventory in a large amount of space CONS: The place looked like a twister hit it. There were more things on the ground than on the racks. There were no employees on the floor to help you and the customers were very sleazy. OVERALL: I would pick another retailer over this place any day. 100% not my style nor do i think it would be the average persons style read more

This location in no way matches the TV ads. Perhaps due to the size of the store, there's not enough staff to check on the racks? Racks are labeled with sizes but they're all mixed together anyway. The place is really messy... ironically they do have great merch, so I will definitely be coming back and deal with the craziness. It's worth it, lol! read more

I like this store primarily because it's located within the palisades center. The store is pretty dark inside and a bit messy. Marshall's is my go to discount store because it's clean and well lit compared to Burlington. They should add more signage around and outside the mall for Burlington because frankly it's not visible Home section houses some amazing finds! And prices are comparable to Marshall's They should brighten up the store, make it more appealing to the modern customer read more

Terrible experience with the cashier name "Romalda". Purchased some items at another location and stopped at this particular location to exchange or return depending on what l found after looking around. I walked into the store with my items in one of the reusable bags l also bought from another location for $1. After looking around l found some things l wanted to exchange so l proceeded to the check-out where l encountered "Romalda". No greeting, no eye contact from "Romalda" when l walked to her register. l communicated to her l had some items I wanted to exchange, no response. She rang up my items and finally looked directly at me and asked "Is that it?" l replied "Yes" she said "What about the bag?" pointing to the reusable bag l came into the store with. I responded "That's mine, l brought this bag in with me" This B**CH had the audacity to roll her eyes and say "Oh sure, if you say so" This rude, presumptuous fool of an individual was insinuating that l was trying to steal a $1 bags and l was highly annoyed, screwed it l was pissed!!! Let's just say l wanted to cuss this B**CH out but l mustered as much decorum as possible and l gave her a nice talking to. On my way out l ask to speak to the manager and l conveyed my negative experience with "Romalda" the cashier. Manager was appalled and apologetic, she said she would speak to "Romalda" about her behavior. read more

This Burlington gets a decent rating. Compared to Burlingtons in Queens, NY & Nassau County, NY, there's no comparison( it terms of variety, and amounts of clothing for each size/category). For me, a lot of the clothes here are seriously outdated, and they didn't have a lot to select from in certain sizes. I found quite a few things for my son. But came up rather empty handed for myself. As with any other Burlington, be prepared to do air of walking, and searching through hanger after hanger, and rack after rack. They do offer really good discounts/steals when you find brand name clothing. All in all, pretty decent discount store. A plus for this store, is almost all their items are on the rack /hanger and not on the floor. read more

At the Palisades Mall in Rockland county the choices of stores to shop at is plenty and Burlington coat factory is my fave. It's not just coats but they do have plenty in all shapes and sizes and at prices that won't hurt your wallet or pocket book . Just like the family friendly commericals they play on tv over and over and over again states, shoes , toys , perfumes , clothing , HOMEGOODS, inexpensive trinkets , and so much more . While I am browsing side by side with obnoxious holiday shoppers I notice some solid colored hoodies and the sale price makes it a done deal . Some folks knock the quality and no name brands of the coats and jackets but personally I feel that a 50 dollar coat will do the same job as a 600 dollar coat and that's a fact . Absolutely horrendous place. Am here on a Wednesday evening to return clothes I bought at the Pine Brook, NJ store. There's ONE cashier here and TWENTY FIVE people in line. Hideous! If I could give zero stars, I would. Never coming here again. read more

My stolen credit card was used in this store. I called into Loss Prevention to see what I needed to do to see a picture or video of the exact time of the attempted use - as the card went missing after I hosted a BBQ so the thief was someone I knew. The associate told me what to bring and I told him I'd be there at 5pm. When I got there the rude cashier told me he had gone home at 4pm. I called Corporate Customer Service who told me the Loss Prevention associates were hired from an outside company by each individual store. I then spoke to West Nyacks store manager who told me their Loss Prevention associates come from Burlington- she told who to call in Loss Prevention the following day. I called and asked for this person and get told he isn't there. I ask if anyone will be there at 5pm, and first I get told no. Then after a long hold the associate changes his story and says the associate I asked for initially will be there at 5pm. I began to speak and the associate hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. This company and this location are incredibly disorganized and downright rude. Its a SECURITY concern about my STOLEN card and they can't even give me the time of day. I will NEVER shop there again and let EVERYONE who even mentions going there exactly how they treat peoples financial security. read more
