This Target is harsh. Parking is awful here because of the huge mall environment. You have mall patrons and Target customers all competing for the same parking. Unless you visit at a very off time, expect to park far. Then there's the store itself. It's a standard Target with plenty of merchandise, a pickup area, a Starbucks within, and even lots of registers. However, at busy times, it's packed here. I've gone in, grabbed an item, gotten to the register, saw the line and just left the item. It's nuts. I recently ordered online and easily picked up in store while at the mall. Very convenient and no issues. So if you're at the mall already and need Target stuff, go for it and good luck at checkout. Otherwise, I advise hitting up other Target locations. read more

Surprised to hear one of the managers announcing his unsolicited opinions about who he feels should be buying what products, based on their age. He offered a series of ignorant, offensive & discriminatory comments to which he even admitted was based off of his own pure assumptions. It was pretty shocking to see that target doesn't mind having their representatives voice their personal beliefs in an attempt to deter sales. read more

This store is always fully stocked so it's always a sure thing you will find what you are looking for. However, it is not the most organized or clean. It's also hard to find a staff member for help and when they do come around they take forever to come back with products or answers on what they have, and where things are. read more

I like Target overall in terms of products and prices but this one is consistently crowded, disorganized and not very clean. I can usually find one what I'm looking for and haven't had any problems with the service yet. They have a Starbucks area. There is a line for self checkout and individual lines for guided checkout but they should have a better queuing system overall. The parking lot is also consistently full or a pain so I always park elsewhere and walk up to the 4th floor. read more

Electronics department, are simply doing a job. They don't care about making sales. Example, any video game related shelving is empty. Items are not circulated, nothing is tagged. Nothing is labeled. You can clearly see that there are multiple games available for sale but none of them are marked and when you ask for help they refuse to assist saying they're not allowed to do that. Just circulate your merchandise. Perhaps put someone in charge of electronics that actually cares about their job. read more

We walked in and I jokingly said let me go use Rockland County's most longest standing filthy bathroom before we start shopping. I could not believe my eyes how dirty this bathroom was which unfortunately I expected but I had never seen this bad. Absolutely pathetic. Feces on the floor. Feces covered toilet paper everywhere. These bathrooms are completely unsanitary and unusable. Target should be ashamed of themselves, this bath has been like this for decades. read more

I find this Target to be okay for the most part, but the service here could be better all time around. Most of the things that draw my attention were some of the departments were not kept up such as clothing, and toys being left leaving a big massive mess. It's very understandable that it may be understaffed, but it also needs reliable workers to do their part effectively. Many times on my visits here, this will occur. With the great products to offer, take note of my review and tips mentioned. read more

Went here during my visit to the pallisades Mall on Wednesday April 10th 2024. Walked in via the inside entrance of the mall on the 4th floor. Was in there to perhaps look at a gift for mother's day and for my dad. First off walked in and the aisles were very messy. looking at other reviews, it appears that they are understaffed, or something. I have a target close to home that i go to, and it is much better than this. Although didn't walk around the whole store, could have also been busy because it was circle week this past week with deals and discounts galore! also i'm surprised to find that they barely had an entertainment section, unless there was more somewhere else in the store. also didn't look as much because i had bags in my hand that were getting heavy, so that's more me. Anyways Hope to check out this location another time! read more

This store is very poorly clean. Everytime I use thier bathroom it is nasty. The workers are rude espically the older ones. The younger employees seem very nice and sweet. The toys section is a mess and my kids could barely find what they want from the mess also the baby section was filled with hangers on the floor anyone could have slipped. I love target but this target is just crazy. read more

The store is fine but the staff is incompetent apparently. When we arrived here at 5 PM the bathrooms were horrendous. They have signs begging you to tell store employees if the bathrooms need attention. We went to the front desk and told them the bathrooms were extremely gross and needed some cleaning ASAP. The lady at the counter was rude and acted like we were being dramatic and turned around and left. We continued about our evening in the mall and now almost 5 hours later at 9:45 PM we are leaving. I walked over to the bathroom again and silently prayed it had been cleaned. Nope. They completely ignored us and now the bathrooms are ten fold worse to what they were when we arrived. Their is urine, poop, blood, bloody tampons, and a pile of pubic hair on the sink. WTF??? This is absolutely horrendous and disgusting especially being left like this ALL DAY!! read more

The manager of this store is a joke. Shelves are messy and nobody knows anything. Worst part is the checkout. 1 line for self service or cashiers. People who want 1 or the other are sent to the next whatever. I have left there without my purchase 4 times. Spoke to a manager who said I don't see a problem. read more

Had a bad experience at this store today. Purchased several items and saw a big sign for the Ghirardelli chocolate for $5. It did not ring up the correct price at the register. Maryluz, with her scanner, told me that it was incorrect and the price was $5.29. She would not honor the advertised price and walked away after deleting it from my order. I went back and took a picture of the sign with the items under it. She rolled her eyes at me and said "oh well" and walked away. This is NOT how you treat a customer, especially when she clearly was wrong. read more

Parents BEWARE! This evening, Sunday, September 26th, 2021 the oddest thing happened. I was in one of the toy aisles with my 3 year old daughter and out of no where a young female around 12 or 13 years old came up to me and asked me the most oddest question. She asked me if she can give my daughter a piggy back ride. I told her flat out "No", without hesitation. She then said "oh ok" and kind of lingered there for a few more seconds, so I told her "ok bye" and she then walked away. It all happened very quickly. I thought it was the most random and weirdest question to ask a complete stranger. For a few seconds after she left, I was dumbfounded and still kind of processing what just happened. I then grabbed my daughters hand and went to see where the girl headed off to. She was walking away at that point with another female who appeared to be a little older. Now I want to believe this exchange was completely innocent and maybe she just wanted to play with my daughter, but let me explain why I think this was actually a bit more sinister. When I first entered Target this evening, I was going down the stairs with my daughter and I saw the SAME exact young female walking up the stairs to exit the Target. She was with the other female that I saw her later meet up with. I did not take a good look at the other female she was with, but when I was entering Target, and the pair of females were exiting- the young female and I locked eyes. So a few minutes later, when I saw her pop out of no where in my aisle, and ask me if she can give my daughter a piggy back ride, I thought it was odd that I saw her a few minutes earlier exiting. Again, I do not want to believe that this was anything more then just an innocent attempt at playing with my child- but I was not born yesterday, and sometimes your gut doesn't lie. I truly believe my daughter was targeted. Malls are breeding grounds for child predators and human trafficking. These ring leaders usually send these young, unassuming people to do find other children. I can only imagine if I left my daughter for a few seconds unattended or if that young female was just a bit more aggressive... I left Target that evening still in a state of shock and amazement about what just happened. It wasn't until I got into my car and started really processing what happened that I started to freak out a bit. I first called this Target location and guess what? No one answered. I then called the Palisades mall security desk and he said that since they aren't affiliated with Target and that Target has its own security, that I would need to report it to Target. I told him that I tried calling Target but no one answered. He then gave me the number to the Clarkstown Police Station. I called the station and spoke to the dispatcher who then advised me to come in person to file the complaint. I asked him if he thought that question the young female asked was odd, and he did agree that it was definitely a bit odd and out of the ordinary. I will be going first thing tomorrow in person to file the report. Maybe what happened this evening was indeed completely innocent and I am just overreacting, and call me irrational, but what would you do if this was your child? And they did end up getting kidnapped (God forbid)? If I can at least help by giving you my story and just ask that you be vigilant, then I'll go to bed happy tonight knowing that your child is safe in their beds tonight as mine is. We must protect our children at all costs! read more

The worst Target I've been too. You can't even find a person to help you and when you do they are either on their phone chatting or gives you attitude for asking for help. Particularly in the electronics section. There was this associate today who was very rude. We asked for help to find a game for ps5 and she gave us attitude. She wouldn't help us right away and proceeded to help other customers acting like we don't exist. The worst part of it was she sold the last piece of the game to the customer who was there after us. My husband was so upset and when we called her out because of her attitude and poor customer service she proceeded to berate us. Wow. And it's only morning. She doesn't belong in this type of job. We're just happy we passed by Gamestop just outside Target and they have the game. And the staff at Gamestop have excellent customer service. read more

Today is Sunday June 13,2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic in West Nyack, NY. I was just informed by my two family members that Target in the Palisades mall is allowing two women to shop with no masks on. I know Gov Cuomo gave stores the option to enforce the mask rule but I guess Target just doesn't care enough about their customers to be bothered trying to keep its customers safe and ALIVE!!! I ordered a tv online because they had a Black Friday deal . I made my purchase later on I received a message saying that the tv was no longer available. I was very upset and felt I had to handle this in person. I went to the store I spoke to an employee and a manager and they said the order was canceled when in fact that was a lie because they gave me a phone number and I had to personally cancel it . I don't feel I was respected and I'm pretty sure they just wanted me out of there . She kept saying you have to wait 3 to 5 days to get a refund . I feel as if this shouldn't of happened especially during the holidays. read more

Pretty much a standard Target location aside from the fact that it's in a large mall. I haven't been inside here in years, but was in the Palisades mall and was looking for a specific item that I figured might be in here. Of course it wasn't, but I browsed the store anyway. It was about 8pmish, so it was fairly quiet and the store looked pretty organized - except the seasonal area. The seasonal area this time included both Halloween and Christmas (in October - gotta love retail). It was as if the employees were instructed to just ignore this area entirely and only concentrate on the rest of the store. It was a minefield of merchandise on the floor and a complete mess on the shelves. If you're intent on purchasing a seasonal item here, make sure all your items are in the package and the item is undamaged. Yes, I know customers can be animalistic slobs, but there should be a basic maintaining of this area at least. If you know Target, as mentioned above, this is basically the same format as most Target locations with just about the same stock. The prices on some items are ok, while others are questionable. Depending on what you're looking for, you may or may not find it in Target in general. Checking online is almost meaningless in store, because it might say an item is there only for you to come and see it's not - but that's a lot of places as well. I had no interactions with employees and based on the past, I didn't expect or want to either. I've come to expect a lack in Target in general when it comes to employees. Though I will say I was on my way leaving when an employee randomly said hello to me and told me to have a good night - that was a nice surprise. Hope the organization takes care of her and hires more like her. Located on the top floor of the Palisades mall with 2 entrances - one from inside the mall and one from the outside if you want to avoid coming into the actual mall. Mall parking is free and adequate enough (except for the holiday season) and it's a decent store overall in this diverse mall. Though not a Target shopper much anymore these days, if I'm compelled to visit a Target in my general area, this would be the location since the others near me are terribly putrid in most ways. read more

This Target appears to have more stock/inventory than other stores in Rockland or Westchester. I was looking for Power Wheels for my 3 year old - and this store had a wide selection available when the Target website and other stores in the area did not have the same items available I also want to say thank you to Kamique in customer service. Although I ordered for store pickup, the item was extremely large and heavy and was not readily available. Kamique located the item and even carried it outside to my car (in the pouring rain). I went to target in a rush looking for a new pair of pants for my boyfriend. Billy was so helpful and attentive !

Great store and super convenient being it's located in the mall! Little messy at times but that's usually on weekends when crazy customers mess it up. The reason I rate this store 4 stars rather that 5 is due to the fact that they close their mall side entrance doors at 9 which is wayyyyy inconvenient being target is open until 11/12 Also the parking is not the greatest. I like shopping at this store because it's familiar to me, after they redesigned the spring valley store I just shop here Because I knoe where everything is read more

I often check target app before going to target to make sure they have the item in stock that I am going there for. Lately I have a hard time finding the item it's not where it's said to be or they don't have it at all. The last straw was I did an online order for pick up. I ordered 2 things that they claimed to have in stock. If they didn't have item in stock it wouldn't be available for online pickup. I ordered both items. The money was deducted out of my bank account and then I received an email that both items were out of stock and I could select a new store. I select the target one town over, claims both items are available. I later receive an email that my order has been completely canceled due to items not being in stock . Giving me no option for shipping or picking a 3rd store. I contact customer service and they offer me free shipping I go to place the order and it will not allow me to purchase without spending a minimum of $35. Making this an extremely inconvenient situation, forcing me to go back to giving Amazon my business. read more

Frozen pizza was priced at $3. At the register the cashier was unable to scan it and proceeded to charge $5 for it. I told her that was not the price. While I was talking she flipped over the item revealing the exp date...it expired in September 2015. I was in the store February 2017. Nasty! This target also has the worst customer service. I recently deleted my target baby registry after I went to pick up my welcome baby bag. Guest services told me they had no idea what I was there for and proceeded to get angry with me when I tried to show them a email from target stating that I should come in to pick up the welcome bag. The two girls working behind the counter cursed and had the worst attitude. I told them this was the worst customer service I had ever encountered and they told me to walk away. Never coming here again. read more

I am a loyal order ahead customer. Earlier this week I placed a large order ($135 worth of items) and had my husband pick it up. Despite him checking, he and target forgot a bag. Later when I got home, I reported the missing items missing and the target app told me I'd be getting a refund. It's holiday time, mistakes happen, no big deal. The next day we decided to reorder the missing items. When I arrived in the parking lot to pick them up the place was packed but luckily I was able to find a spot in the designated area. My order came out shortly and the customer service representative apologized profusely for forgetting the one bag earlier in the week. He told me he brought it out and it was in my trunk, along with the new items I ordered. He then proceeded to give me a $20 target gift card. When I got home I did have the refund in my account for the missing items. I was truly touched by the great customer service. This simple act restored my faith in the order ahead program and I will continue to shop at this target location. Great job! read more

Horrible customer service and NO check out lanes open except for 2 self check outs at 11a?!? I ended up in line for the self checkout and encountered problems. There were NO employees to help me. Finally, one walked by with a scowl on her face. I asked for her help, she doesn't smile, doesn't say a word and walks up to my checkout, types in zero and then walks away without saying a word, still scowling. I was flabbergasted. I watched her get to her destination, which ironically was customer service! Goodness gracious, she is lucky I am in a hurry or I would def give a manager my two sense. read more

What? A 5 star for a Target? I'll tell you why. The Pharmacists. Parking is tough sometimes on the weekend or evening with the mall and movie theatre. One of the best targets. Sometime they are short of staff, but beside that I love coming to this location. Before or after the movie. I love Target and this was the first time I been to this location. Like most of the Target's, there is a usually a mess in some of the aisles. The aisles are also very confusing and hard to locate things. The staff is usually either busy talking with each other or give you attitude. I love universal stores like these!!! I'm a huge fan of the price scanner as well which is on almost every 4th isle in this place. Pretty convenient. There is even pizza here!! Kodak photo center is a big mess. Literally and figuratively speaking. It took 15 mins to get to & connect to the wifi and order 1 photo from my phone. I came back and again was told the printer was not printing my photos. For 1 photo... I didn't waste my time.
