The bathrooms are seriously disgusting, I nearly threw up!!! Store itself is ok and most cashiers are pretty friendly but please for the love of God maintain the restrooms! read more

When the Target store at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack first opened I enjoyed shopping their. In fact, I've been a customer for many years. Regrettably, I have seen the store's appearance, service, and maintenance deteriorating for years now. Today I used the restroom adjacent the pharmacy while I waited for the wonderful pharmacist there (Dr. U. Dave) to administer my flu shot. The first photo I attached shows the condition of the single toilet restroom's door at 2 p.m. I brought the grimy bathroom up with a manager on my way out of the store today. Then I decided to look up an item on my way out of the mall after 8 p.m.(The second run was for dinner.) Remembering the promise the young (female) Target manager made to me earlier about getting the grime cleaned up, I stopped in for a peak. Yuck! The grimy bathroom was still very dirty...in even worse condition than before! Target needs to clean up their act! Especially when it comes to a bathroom used by sick patients who sit near it to wait for prescriptions to be filled, and others waiting for a flu shot... Shame on the manager for lying to my face, and not delivering on the promise to have the high traffic bathroom by the Pharmacy cleaned up! read more

I actually worked there part time no gripes with other staff or managers. The only thing that concerned me was and was a huge reason I chose to resign was employee's we're not mandated to wear masks while in the break room and beyond the staff only permitted door during peak COVID epidemic. Idk I just didn't agree or feel safe to that. Especially when I'm a man with other sicknesses hyper tension, sugar diabetes and a lung disease. They also don't enforce children to wear masks while on the store room floor. Again great place to work great staff. But to me the 2 things I just mentioned are very serious. read more

Great place to shop and work! I've been shopping at this Target all my life and I've enjoyed every moment of it. So I wondered... why not try to work here? I applied online and got called right away for an interview to become a cashier. I got the job and I am now proudly representing the colors of red and khaki. I really enjoy this job and I the interactions I have with the guest and my coworkers. This job has taught me so much. read more

I seriously want to know WHY on Tuesday evening his store that's in the middle of a mall has ZERO cashiers open and ONLY self check out open?! But they manage to have one employee available to direct the self check out?! Really? You suck Target! read more

The worst Target I have ever shopped in. Ever. Anywhere. Dirty, disorganized, many empty areas in shelves. It looked like a store that was going out of business. Stuff (trash and products) on the floors. Products shoved haphazardly onto shelves. Two cash registers open on a Saturday afternoon. And don't get me started on the ridiculous parking. It is like the Hunger Games when trying to find a spot in the small, awkwardly designed lot. Don't bother visiting this store. There's another one just down the road. read more

Target - Messiest, most disorganized Target I've ever seen - Department Stores Near Me - West Nyack, New York

I love the target up at palisades mall! For the most part, it's clean. A little dirty, but still very clean. The target cafe with the Pizza Hut and Starbucks is also great! The food there is fantastic! Self checkout machines are also great to use, not to mention, very secure with the security monitoring cameras! Very smart of them to put them in there. Overall, great target store! read more

First off, the isles are a total disaster. I've never seen an establishment care less about the items they're selling. I wonder if they discount trampled items? Secondly the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. They wreak of urine. You couldn't pay me to stand by the door. I'm not sure if I'm more sad that Target has crappy employees cleaning that place or if I'm more shocked how humans treat things that aren't theirs. read more

This place was disgusting when we visited. I was stepping on clothing and step over them. The bathroom were disgusting. The manager was totally absent from the store. read more

Great place for candy before the movies. Remember to put it in your pants and hide it though!

This Target is really Ghetto. I approached an employee to ask for the nearest restroom and was taken aback by the fact that he had his foot on the wall with his arms crossed. When we went to the electronics dept there wasn't anyone at the register even though there was an employee standing around doing nothing. Customer service is horrible!!! read more

Horrible costumer service, I was there a couple of hours ago with my boyfriend i was in the electrics area and there was no associates around I walked by where the phones are and there was Two people talking, one of them had a Target tech shirt on and a man with a flannel shirt and some type of small computer case / suitcase with him, they both were talking about a display of electronics, me and my boyfriend approached them because we thought they're worked there (just like anyone else would've also thought) I said "excuse me" about two times and my boyfriend told me to let them finish, and I said "well there's no one here so they should help us out" that's when the women said "well there's a bottom there for u to ask for help" I pressed the bottom as other associates came to me they explained to me she does not report to target how ever the man did, I just don't understand why they both had to ignore us and act with such an attitude when all we needed was help. I complained to a manager but nothing but a "I'm sorry" was said by the manager. Moral of the story, this target has some associates that have "TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE" all the way up in corporate too read more

Parlez vous Tarjey? Good prices, great customer service, all kinds of stuff you need from eggs to swimwear to toys and even beer! It is just a nice walk to stroll thru Target and I always somehow find something to buy. Maybe razors for shaving or ninja turtles for my daughter. There have been many times I left Target going, "I love this place." (Target and Costco LOL) Anyways what prompted me to write this review was the excellent customer service I got from Will in the mobile department. He was honest, friendly and knowledgeable. It couldn't have been easier upgrading my wireless service. Contrast that at BB because every time I am there, the line at their mobile department always seem so LONG. Every customer seems to take 4ever! Given the same prices, I much rather shop at Target because their employees are just a notch nicer. Merci beaucoup! read more

Don't know what the other reviews were talking about, this store is my favorite target. Customer service is awesome, the people are friendly and helpful and the store is always so clean. I love this store! read more

The worst target I've ever been to. It was so bad that I didn't buy anything. There was no organization in the shoe section. I couldn't find a single worker to ask for help. read more

Target - Total mess - Department Stores Near Me - West Nyack, New York

Just tonight my friends and I were window shopping in target. Please keep in mind that we are all girls who are going to be juniors and seniors in high school. We began laughing about something funny that had happened. We were loud, but not extremely loud. An employee there had overheard and told us to "get out" in an INCREDIBLY nasty tone. I asked, "Why do we need to leave?" She told us that we were violating the target code of conduct. I asked how we were violating it and she told us that we were being too loud. I apologized to her and told her that we would leave. She began to follow us out of the store. She told us that we had to leave from the exit that would take us outside of the store to the parking lot because she "was not about to follow us to the front of the store." I refused to exit that way, because I am a 16 year old girl and it was dark in a parking lot. I did not feel safe nor comfortable with doing that. She insisted that we did that or else she would call security. She began talking to someone on her walky-talky and I kept repeating that I am not leaving through that exit. Eventually I forfeited and exited that way. I shouted across the store, "Just so you're aware, I'm a 16 year old!" I think it is disgusting that she spoke to customers in the tone that she did- and that she forced four underage females to exit the store through a dark parking lot. I hope something is done to prevent this from happening again. This experience has spoiled my views on this target. I will be taking my business to the target in Spring Valley from now on. If I could give this store zero stars, I would. read more

Every time I need something from this target location I always call in to check if they have the item before I go. I called in for an item which one of the workers said they had plenty of. I go to a store less than an hour after the call and there's nothing there. An item cannot be out of stock in less than an hour. Instead of lying to me (since they obviously didn't check), they should have just said no if they were too lazy to deal with it. read more

Good store but the lady at the counter at 3:15 Tuesday is very lazy and doesn't talk.(the snack bar area)

I've gotten more polite and professional service at the DMV. This is the WORST Target EVER! Store management doesn't even know Target policies. The woman who presented herself as the store manager was rude and wholly unprofessional. It felt more like a ghetto Walmart masquerading as a Target store. They should either clean house and hire and TRAIN new employees, or close the store down. I've been a Target customer and cardholder for decades and have never been yelled at by an employee like I was today. There are several other Target stores in the area, save yourself the trouble and avoid this one! read more

It's not bad as Target stores go. Everything's easy to find, except for maybe a clerk to help you. I needed some help with a computer chair and it took about five minutes to track down somebody. Maybe they should hire more people! read more

Customer service is terrible . Eric is a horrible cashier . He has dirty strawberry blonde hair, tall, has a beard, glasses and wears a black watch . He worked on Wednesday night shift . He clearly saw me put my items down as he was scanning another lady's items . I proceed to look for my credit card as she was looking for her money . Without both of us knowing, he scanned all my items along with the other lady's and made her pay for it . He then asked what I was paying for and I asked him if he just really did that .. He then looked at the exit and saw her exiting . He was like "Oh no, she's by the door she's leaving .." I was like "Are you going to get her or you're going to make me go get her for your so called mistake" He said "Too late, sorry I don't know" Eric just stood there as if he was on something and then asked if I want to go get my items again . Really ? You want me to go all around the store I spent 45 mins walking before ?? Annoyed I went to go get back my items and went to the manager . She didn't seem to care . I had my baby with me and he really expects me to go run after someone with him ?! He was not sincerely sorry and just stood there for 10 minutes in silence . read more

The manager Maria is the WORST. Does not understand customer service. Bought myself a tv for my birthday I got home it was damaged I raced back to the store for a new one even though they were about to close - so I called to ask them to have the tv by the door well do an exchange and they said yes. I get there and Maria after saying yes to letting us trade out the tv over the phone , so rudely tells my boyfriend that she can't exchange the items for us. Will not be going back to this location. read more

Love Target! Hate the staff... today while in line I had the woman behind the register yell "ya'll know that (points to register behind her) is open too, "whispers" daaaaamnn." Then after paying and putting my card back into my wallet I looked up to find my bagged items and couldn't see them.. (she bagged them but hadn't moved them out of the bagged area) I asked politely if she still had my items to receive "ahhhh it's right there I put it in the bag like I have to" ...what!? No thanks read more

I am so upset with my local target store. I am a principal of a Title 1 school who is setting up a pumpkin patch for my pre-kindergarten through grade 5 students for our annual Harvest Festival. All of my classes create a scarecrow each. All of the clothes I purchased out of my own pocket at Target,West Nyack. I spent over $250 for my scarecrow clothes. I then go to customer service to ask if I can purchase plastic bags so my students can safely carry their pumpkins home. The manager will not even come over to discuss it, it was a flat out no. So I know that this review will not make a difference in the grand scheme of things but to not even come over and speak to me is ridiculous. Never will I spend a dime for anything related to my school at your store again. My students deserve more respect and time than we were given tonight. read more

If I was allowed to give ZERO Stars or less, this establishment at the palisades mall deserves it. The lady at the cashier was so unfriendly and gave some nasty looks. I wad there Tuesday mid day, and this cashier appeared like she has worked there for more than 15 hours straight. Wake up management, this does not look good. Please remind your staff that if they hate their jobs, the mall has a lot of exit doors. Now I understand why people are switching to online shopping, because of unhappy people working in your establishment who do not have any interaction skills read more

One of the worst target locations I have been to. The store is located on the upper level of the Palisades Centre and is never organized. Prepare for a long wait in line and an unmanned self checkout. The security guard was trying to help customers however he did not have the credentials to do so. If you can skip this store and head to another Target, it will be well worth it. read more

I have been shopping at this Target since it first opened, I am here at least once a week. Customer Service has always been fantastic in the past. I came in yesterday for my weekly items, and came across a large peanut butter display with the large sign above that read $4.99 so I grabbed a jar and walked to price check, and it came up $5.69. I took a picture of the display, which was full of peanut butter under the big sign, and when I arrived at the register I told the gentleman, about the display and showed him the picture, he quickly called a lady over and her explanation was, that the big sign above must of been for something that was previously there and that she couldn't honor that price. I explained that by law I am suppose to get it for that price, but she refused. I asked her for the Manager and she stated she was the Manager. She walked away unapologetically, and never gave her name. It isn't about the 70 cents, but if something is advertised with a certain price, it should be honored for that price. I have never had a problem with that anywhere else. I asked the gentleman that was ringing me up, for her name and he said it was Tawana. No customer service skills whatsoever. Poor example of Management for this company. read more

Service is really bad. Purchased item that was used. Went to customer service the following week and requested same item new (and closed). The service was slow and at the end (after one hour) waiting they replaced it. The managment was not really their to support. Will never purchase at this target again! read more

I really enjoy this Target location. A few weeks ago I got out of a movie at the mall at around 10 PM and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Target was still open so late. After living in Europe for three years and dealing with stores that close at 6pm on a typical night you can imagine why I'm so grateful! I had a music festival (Gov Ball) coming up that weekend, and I really wanted to wear some overalls. In fact I had been thinking about overalls all day at the mall and planned to go online that night and order some. Now, if I were the type of person to believe in the universe's physical manifestation of inner personal desires and wants, this Target would have been an excellent representation. THEY HAD OVERALLS. I wasn't sure I could fit an Xtra small after gaining ten pounds, so I selected the last remaining cute style in an xtra small, and a slightly less cute style in a medium. I was so relieved when the medium proved to be way too big and xtra small fit perfectly. I also found an awesome chambray sleeveless button-down--it really looks more expensive than it actually cost. The denim on that shirt, like on the overalls, is multifaceted and has "personality", if that's possible for denim clothing to have. I'm especially pumped to wear it in a denim-on-denim outfit. Even better, despite me going to the fitting room right at 1030 and the fitting room closing at 1030, the lady still let me in to try on the items. All in all, a wonderful experience. Would shop again. read more
