This location is essentially your standard TJ Maxx location, albeit a bit more condensed in size. Even with the smaller space, they still try to cram as much in as possible, in true TJM style! I usually get lost in a TJM for a while, and this location is no exception. I get sucked in to each aisle, fumbling through the odd items, shiny things and in some cases, must have kitchen goods. Unlike many other TJM, this store seemed a bit more organized and less chaotic. The shelves were packed with goods, but it wasn't messy. The staff is seen wandering the aisles, so I imagine they are constantly moving and organizing as they go. So, good on them and good for us. With that, service was okay. The associates in the aisle were making rounds for the goods, not so much for customer interaction. Overall, solid TJ Maxx location worth stopping by when at Opry Mills.

Over the years I have relied on DSW for casual to dress shoes, stopping in when ever a need...or an itch is had. First things first though, when I enter, I immediately scope the clearance section at the back of the store first. If I do not find anything of interest there, then I hit the main aisles. While they have a solid selection of shoes, I prefer their casual/dress shoes to their sneaker selection. I have picked up more loafers and dress shoes from DSW than sneakers for sure. Service at this location is always friendly and helpful. Never had an issue, even with picking up online orders. There may not always be folks available in the moment, but when they are, they are helpful. The store is aging, and could use some TLC throughout the interior and exterior. Parking is plentiful given the location in the shopping plaza. Overall, I am a fan of DSW and this location is convenient for me, so it stays in rotation when I need some new kicks!

On an early morning walk to a nearby coffee shop (you know, the one with a mermaid), there was a most fabulous outfit in the window so I made it a point to check on it during opening hours. Imagine my boyfriend and I walking into this beautiful store decked out in our gym attire, amidst all the finely dressed clientele of Green Hills. We were greeted by Mrs. Wanda with bountiful smiles (hoping she) passed on judgment. I was fitted with many items with ease, patience and uber compliments and walked away with not just one but three outfits (thank you boyfriend ). I felt like a Pretty Women moment happened upon me! Thank you to Mrs. Wanda for your kindness and assistance in enhancing my wardrobe. It was a lovely experience! The store is very comforting and offers so many styles (ball gowns too!). Parking available in front, albeit limited right now due to neighboring construction. Now my dilemma...how to get a Gus Mayer to Colorado.....

During my work trip, I decided to make a to add to my collection and knew the exact items I was looking for. I was warmly greeted when I walked in but the associates working didn't seem to know their stock as they questioned me as if I didn't know the boots and 2 bags I was looking for. Once the associate realized that not only was I carrying the latest never full with a custom paint design from the Paris store , inside was also the matching monogram wallet, crossbody and scarf and looked down to see that my heels were also LV and suddenly the attitude changed. I said you can forget this sale, I will order through 866 Vuitton or call my store back home in Bal Harbour shops. Disappointed in this location and will ensure corporate is aware of the lack of service and knowledge these associates have . Terrible !

Thankfully I was gifted to pick out a bag and have the "experience" and it was something I will never forget. I spent a lot of time trying on all the bags, seeing the sizing and how it looks with my stature, measuring up all the details. I didn't realize how important using an arm strap was to me until I didn't have it on some of the bags I tried on. I'm also a big crossbody girlie. I'm OBSESSED with my final decision for the Coussin PM with silver hardware. I purchased it over the weekend and had it shipped to the store and scheduled a pick up appointment for a few days later/during the week when I had more time. I spent the next few days in anticipation for my appointment, and Dave kept me updated via text message. He really made this experience feel so special for me, I'm so grateful. During my appointment, Dave spent even more time with my husband and I, as we heard all about the LV brand, the specific purse I chose and the designer behind it, how to care for it, about the free conditioning to the bag if needed, the special straps that are not sold separately but I can purchase if something happens to mine. There is so much to know and learn and we had a fantastic time! He mentioned another client just brought this bag in that they have had for years and still looks absolutely perfect. Photos do not do it justice but I will include some and definitely show her off! THANK YOU DAVE! I also want to make it very clear how helpful everyone was, you could really tell that everyone was a team-and it was super refreshing to see. Highly recommend!

I feel the deals at the Columbia Store located at Tanger has better prices, but if you dig a bit here you can score a good item on sale. Now that winter is upon us, I have been looking for new lightweight long sleeve shirts and/or vests. I like to layer! I enjoy the fit and feel of a few Columbia branded long sleeve shirts, and liked the colors, so I ended up with green and blue long sleeves that were 2/$40. The store is well laid out and is clean. Service is meh here. There were several associates working, but they were all congregated behind and near the counter, instead of greeting or assisting folks on the floor. Popped in on a Saturday morning after shopping online. Figured be best to look in store before purchasing. The store is large and laid out well from a section standpoint. Everything is labeled, easy to find and easy to navigate. The store has seen better days. After walking around, some sections of the store give off "closing" vibes with empty or disheveled shelves and displays, or products on display that definitely need to be replaced. To go along with that, the floors are worn and stained in multiple places, shelving units are in disrepair, ceilings are stained, and more. The store needs some TLC. While I was in store to look at very specific items, I decided to wander the aisles and look for any deals or items of interest. I walked around the store and through each section for over 15 minutes, and passed by no fewer than 12 Associates and not one time was acknowledged or spoken to. Not that I needed help, but it is wild that no one took one moment to greet a customer, not even when I was leaving the store and passed by 4 Associates huddled by the registers. Overall, the store is not a good representation of Academy, or at least the Academy Sports I remember visiting. From condition of the store to service, or lack thereof, this location did not show well. Selection if solid and prices are not the worst, but without that, this would have certainly been a one star review.
