I was here during the holidays but did not write a review. This is definitely a bigger store. It is two-stories but the upstairs is just the restrooms - not sure why. Also, this store seemed a bit in disarray in some areas but I saw & heard the manger directing staff to reorganize and tidy the store up. I found a couple of cute gifts & was on my way. 2/11/23 This location makes me think they are going to close their doors forever. This location has two floors, but the cleared out everything on the second floor and closed it off. The only option for the second floor is Howdy Doody Time. Many markdowns are going on, but you can find some great clothing and other merchandise. There might not be a whole lot of the same items you are looking for, but if you do find something you want, buy it quickly. You might not get a second chance to grab that item. On our way out, we saw the wall of cologne and perfumes. Many name brands I remember sell when I worked at Kohl's Department Stores. Curve stood out for me. My wife loves White Diamond. I am glad she doesn't wear it anymore. We looked around, but we did not end up getting anything. Still, this place is worth check out even if they could be closing its doors in the foreseeable future. read more

My guess is Burlington is out of here, once the lease is up. They have a new location close by in Fairfax City's Fair City Mall. That one is good, this is now pretty much atrocious. Few if any employees working. They used to sell leather jackets/coats year round at high savings, and this location does anymore. Their collection of suits or dress clothes is extremely limited. What was once a good spot isn't anymore. Are there some deals? Yes on socks and underwear. If that sounds exciting to you, by all means roll here. Their mens section of summer shirts is laughable. Sorry not going out like that. Also they used to have good colognes for sale, but it's the Polo rip off Beverly Hills Club nonsense now. That won't be happening. Go to the Fair City one. read more

You honestly can't go wrong with Burlington. They have everything from items for the home, kitchen, discount clothes, shoes, handbags, some perfumes and colognes, but not many options there, costume jewelry, socks, hosiery plenty of clothing options for men and women, luggage, baby items, and of course - coats!! I pick up items for work, gym, and church and don't break the bank. Seriously awesome workout clothes. Prices are reasonable, comparable to TJ Maxx, Marshalls type prices. Well organized, but you need to know what you're going in there for so you're not overwhelmed. read more

Admittedly, my husband and I stopped in first thing (9am) on a workday (Tuesday) during a pandemic... so the fact that we were the only customers might have been a factor in the customer service we received. That said, the employees and checkout guy were friendly, polite and informative. 4 stars instead of 5 only because, despite the large store size, the selection of boys dress/suit/jacket/etc clothing was null. In pre-pandemic years, BCF Was a go-to store to find suits and dress clothes/shoes for my boys (now early teens) - but they had only jeans, sweats, tee shirts and casual gear (plus a few uniform khakis, etc.) so we were disappointed on that end. read more

My family & I just left this Burlington and had the WORST experience. First, the store was extremely cluttered, unorganized & messy. Second, there were no social distancing being practiced, AT ALL. All the aisles were NOT 6 feet apart & there were no social distancing markers. Third, I witnessed one of the associates being rude to a employee who had a question & raised her voice at her with an attitude filled tone. Lastly & the most infuriating was a few of the associates AND the managers followed us around the store the whole time as if we were about to shoplift .. here .. at BURLINGTON. They spoke on their mics making it so obvious. This was so insulting. It's Burlington, relax. The manager followed me up to the line & stood behind me as I paid for every single item in my cart, only when I said something did she walk away. I was able to catch her name & will be sending an email to their corporate office to alert them of the terrible experience. This store is pretty rundown. Prices are hit or miss, A LOT of clothes are from Target and Kohls with a higher price tag. There are a few good Nike products if you search through the racks. While this is the biggest Burlington Coat Factory I have ever been in, I can't say that I am THAT impressed. The selection is decent, at best, but I can't seem to give them more than three stars due to the prices of items and the long lines. No matter the day or time, they always seems to be understaffed. And it is apparent throughout the store, as the aisles seem to be messy. I feel like everytime I walk in this store, I want to ask for the manager. Not to complain, but just as proof that someone in leadership is running this store. I have never seem any leadership and it is apparent. My last visit, I went to do an exchange and the cashier stated that he couldn't help me because he wasn't trained on how to do returns/exchanges. Well, sir, WHY are you even behind the cash register? I am amazed and in an awe with this store. They're always so organized and well stocked. I don't get lost or frustrated digging through their racks. Everything is labeled and sized. 6/17/20; now 4:45 pm. I entered the store around 3:15 pm and had my items after 20 mins. Prices were just as good as their other stores, but the cashiers were very, very, very slow and customer service was the worse! (Their check out cue was full. A conservative estimate would be 22 to 25 customers.) No Point of Sales should ever take 20 minutes for one customer with one cart... I wish I was exaggerating! Then every fifth person through the door set off alarms and had to return to get checked, then repacked! I spoke with the loss prevention fella and a lady who looked like she was managing the others. I had not been in the store for a couple of years, but wanted to go in to buy a raincoat, as this store used to have a good selection of coats, plus other things you may buy in addition while there. Since they dropped the "Coat Factory" part of the name, there is nothing special to purchase while shopping here that you couldn't get anywhere else. Clearly, they don't need to be in this space as the upper floor has nothing on it (where the coats, jackets used to be). Further the Loss Prevention guy in his black jacket better get a grip on himself or the store will be losing more money on a law suit. read more

Burlington Coat Factory is definitely one of those places where its either Hit or Miss. But it definitely makes it easier when there's an open and organized floor plan that makes shopping more enjoyable and less of a swap meet. This is by far one of the more organized BCFs I've been to in the area. The women's department is well maintained with the misses department having designers neatly grouped (Anne Klein, BCBG Maxazria, Calvin Klein, Tahari). The shoe department leaves a little more to be desired (as what i've found with most BCFs) however the handbag section is pretty spot on. You wont find top-tier brands of course (although I have heard tales of lore of finding gems in the rubble) but you'll find a nice array of bags from Nine West to Kathy Van Zeeland all neatly organized and grouped by type/price (under $40, clutches, totes, hobos, etc). The Menswear department seems to be spot on as well. I just kinda perused the section just to scope it out. They seem to have a decent selection of mens suits from some Oscar De La Renta to Calvin Klein with a nice selection of ties, sportswear, jeans and other casualwear. Upstairs there's a baby depot, all the outerwear, and the home goods department. Again, very neat, organized, easy to navigate (every other BCF i was dodging fallen merchandise, weary children, and all kinds of madness). You'll find a good selection of coats, jackets, trenches and parkas for mens, womens, juniors and children here. And a decent selection for home goods too! read more

The name says it all, factory priced coats and they've got that down. I agree with other reviewers it can be hit or miss, but that's pretty normal for any factory store. This location also has a baby dept, bed & bath and general home decor upstairs and mens / womens apparel & accessories / shoes downstairs. The home decor area is kind of like TJ Maxx, things are stacked up, strewn about and not particularly organized but that's kind of the fun part...unless of course your husband came with you! read more

Well I don't really have anything bad to say about Burlington Coat Factory (BCF) except that the entrance is designed a little weird. And just that BCF can be hit or miss, because either they have what you want/need or they don't. There really isn't much you can do in that regard. Also be warned that some of the clothes can be out of order and the clothes sizes on the actual hanger does not always represent the actual article of clothing that is attached to that hanger, so be sure to double check clothes sizes when you find something you like. But other than that there really isn't much to say. This particular BCF is bigger than some of the others I've been too. This BCF has two floors and on the lower level you can find mostly women, men, young women, and young men clothes. Whereas on the second level you can find things like baby clothes, coats/jackets, baby accessories, bathroom goodies, and other household items. There are more items in this store I just don't remember what they are but I believe I've named some of what I think are their bestsellers. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because I'm pretty satisfied with BCF most of the time I enter this establishment. Simply because most of the time I go in I find clothes that I like, also clothes that can actually fit me the way that I like, and these clothes are very reasonably priced along with the other items they sale as well :). I mean there commercials are pretty accurate because a variety of the clothes you find in other stores, at extremely high prices you can possibly find the same item in BCF for a much better price. I recommend BCF to anyone looking to buy clothes at a reasonable price and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I am 80% - 90% sure that if you go into BCF you will at least come out with one thing. I was very impressed when I came to BCF last month. My sister had stopped in and got a really cute shirt for a great price so I went to get the same. They had really cute, inexpensive clothes that were in style. I got a few things from the women's department, work-out & lounge department and bed & bath department. What would have cost me probably $300 at Macy's, didn't even add up to $100. The store was clean and organized and staff was friendly. I've been shopping at Burlington for many years, and I used to go there often and recommend it to a many people. That does not happen anymore. I noticed that it had been getting worse and worse in the past year or so, and I just left this place now legitimately mad for spending an hour there. I don't know if the problem is only with this location or with all Burlingtons, but here are some things you should be aware if you think you are going there to have a nice shopping experience and get a good deal: - Clearance tags with same price as before - they usually hide the original price in these situations, but you can sometimes find the same items not discounted with the exact same price (except for the red tag) in another part of the store. - The Clearance aisle could very well be the garbage disposal aisle. Pretty much all the items there are broken/dirty. - "Compare to" prices are completely off. One example is a shampoo that I just saw in there. "Compare to $50." I googled it and it is selling for $21 at Target, not discounted. - Prices are much higher than they used to be a few years ago. If you think you'll find that cute pillow for $7, think again. They are not going for less than $16, unless they have a hole/stain in them. - Disorganized. It has always been, but now even more. It seems like everything is out of place, on the floor, or without a price tag. - Noisy. I know this is not necessarily the store's fault, but for some reason there are always kids screaming, running around, bumping on you/your cart/ throwing stuff on the floor. I bought my last winter coat here a few years ago so I figured I'd come again. I'm not left disappointed. The selection was wonderful and I finally found a VERY nice Nautica coat for a fraction of it's original price. I paid 8- bucks and the original is 220. They had cheaper ones of course. Great selection. I do wish they had more petite coats though. I'm 5'2" and finding a coat that didn't swamp me was difficult. Then, I went downstairs for some clothes. I'm generally a fan of BCF but I have to agree with the negative reviews ... I wasn't very blown away with this particular location. I usually go to BCF for their reliable selection of Big and Tall clothing - the one in Manassas is GREAT - but they had ONE RACK for Big and Tall, and that covered ALL clothing. The one thing I bought here was so mislabeled - I know that's a risk with stores like Burlington, but I've never seen something labeled a 3X that would barely pass as a XL. My wife noticed the limited selection as well, and we figured that it was due to being close to Fairfax Corner and the more designer stores. On the plus side, the store was clean and we did find some nice K-Cups and a gift basket for a Christmas gift. The non-clothing parts of the store seemed to have more options and be a tad better organized than the clothing. We only stopped by here to kill time while my car was at the nearby VW dealer - I have better locations to go to if I want to get my Burlington on. read more

It was my first time at this Burlington Location and it was all fine until the moment to pay, the Cashier named Edgar was really rude with me and my mom he said something that had no logic at all. My mom and I were in the line waiting to pay but at the moment to pay we told Edgar that we were going to pay separate in to separate transaction and he told my mom to go back to line and wait because she was going to pay separate in a rude way! Which this has never happen before in any Burlington the we have visited and we love shopping here but we are never coming back to this location, because this person saids the he has four years of experience and doesn't seem like it !! read more

This store is near my home, so I stop through every once in awhile. Today I found a handbag with no price tag, so I searched to find a similar one. Also no price tag. So I approached two associates chatting to help me. I stood there patiently and waited for them to acknowledge me. Finally, one tells me to wait one second, so that she could finish her very important convo. So I walked off to try to find another bag myself. After they finished their important convo the same woman (Maria) asked me what I needed. Finally I found the price myself. This is the better Burlington in the area, compared to the closer to my house in Sterling. That location usually is trampled, disorganized, chaotic and sparse. It had been awhile since I had been to this location and I was slightly shocked when I walked in by how much cleaner it is! Minus the jewelry section, (everything that was on clearance was almost all damaged or missing pairs), it was organized and friendly. I love that there is an upstairs. However, I will note that when I was in there, the line was short and there were several employees standing around gossiping while the phone rang repeatedly for over HALF AN HOUR while I was browsing. Nobody even glanced at it. Maybe they aren't supposed to but the ringing made it very difficult to concentrate after awhile. read more
