When I calmly explained that I could not because of a specific item, she told me, "If you won't do Scan & Go, you need to go and pay like everyone else. You can't pay like that," and pointed me toward the regular lines.Shortly after, my transaction was stopped on the screen that she removed with a device she had on her hand , preventing me from continuing. It appeared that it had been remotely paused. To avoid further conflict, I used Scan & Go and completed my purchase through the app. When I asked her to verify my items, she refused to help me and told me to find someone else, even though no other associate was available. I remained calm and respectful the entire time. The interaction felt horrible. She is so RUDE AND DISCRIMINATIVE!! Since Covid they also have a strong pick-up area and even have shaded parking in the parking lot just for their pick-up service, where employees fill mobile orders from customers and deliver them to their vehicles. This Target is loaded with great deals, and we never have trouble finding what we are looking for. The employees are friendly and they check you out quickly, unless you only have a few items and use the self-checkout. Definitely worth stopping in when you're in the area. There's also a Starbucks inside the store, so you don't have to wait in line at the new Starbucks out in the far corner of the parking lot.
