I loved Dillard's when it was really popular years ago. Seeing that there is a Dillard's in El Centro, I had to go in. This was only a recon mission because I really wasn't looking for anything. I am happy to say, that this Dillard's is just as good as ones I remember. It's a standard department site that has men's, women's, children's and a cosmetics departments. They have similar items as a Macy's. The store seems clean and the staff I spoke to were very nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely return to shop and recommend Dillard's. I want to highlight the employee who helped me yesterday, in the lingerie department. Their attitude was very good, and they treated me with great respect. However, their attire was highly inappropriate for a Dillard's store environment. The look was sloppy with shorts and sandals and made no sense for someone representing a high-end department store. While the service was excellent, management needs to enforce a professional dress code that matches the brand's image. read more

I had a 10% discount coupon that I received when I opened a new credit account with Dillard's. The coupon was about 1 week expired, and I did not notice it had an expiration date. I got to the store and asked management if they would take care of it and they said NO, giving excuses on why they can not honor it. I was in town for the holidays and I had gotten Ugg slippers from here over Christmas. I don't have one where I live so I came to exchange it before heading back that day. Initially my experience was good the guy who helped me an older gentleman I didn't get his name he was nice but who finished my transaction Suahal or however you spell her name needs to learn how to have customer service experience. If you are going to work in customer service you should know how to treat your customers. I felt judged because I was dressed down in sweats however since I am traveling back home I chose comfort over fashion. Helping me she was rude. Also, I tried on some other pair of shoes and I told her I wasn't going to get it because it looked weird on me when I tried it on and she smirked and kind of laughed. I really enjoy shopping at this Dillard's we don't have one in San Diego. We were in town for a wedding, so I knew MAC was the place to get our makeup done. Allison did my makeup and I was very happy with the job she did. It lasted all night & looked perfect with my dress. She was kind & did not push me to buy anything, but I love makeup so of course I want to try the look at home now. A lot of the products she used I already have, so now I know how to use them. I have scars on my face from an accident I was in & she did an amazing job covering them up. They stand out to me, so I was very happy. I would come back again if I was in the area plus & recommend Allison to anyone wanting their makeup done for a special occasion. My friend had her makeup done by another gal who did an amazing job as well. We had two different looks that complemented our skin tones very well. These ladies are fun & know what they are doing. I realize that placing an order over the phone may be a little difficult for some but, jeez, I couldn't even get anyone on the phone! Went there with my gf, to get some makeup for her. We were attended by I believe it was the make-up manager, at 1st started nice then at the end with an attitude. Didn't really took the time to recommend much and just gave this bottle to my GF. Well now she got some acne with it. To be honest, I wish I took my GF to Ulta instead of there. The perrfume associates just having a good time aand talking about what they plan to do on the weekend, how they got wastted down in Mexicali and tthey came to work with a hangover, and the shoes and womens associates just wandering around the store. If you are looking for shoes, Dillard's has the best selection. Can't even find this type of selection in San Diego. Dillard's has great styles, designer brands, and they even carry narrow shoes. Also, if you need formal or evening wear, Dillard's has a wide variety of dresses with lots of stock. The prices are good also for formal wear. I got my makeup done at MAC for a wedding that I attended a few weeks ago. Leslie did my makeup. Allison was there and helped too. They did an awesome job with my makeup! My makeup lasted all night and I got so many compliments. Today I went in and got lashes put on by Cassandra and she did an amazing job. She even did my wing liner and it looks so good.
