The kind woman asked if I had a receipt and I told her no, she had to give me the lowest recent price($7.99! If you were curious) and I laughed. She helpfully tried to explain that it was the policy and not her fault. She misunderstood my laugh and I explained that I was not upset by this, it seemed about right for this relative. That's probably what they paid.... So I took my $8(thoughtfully rounded up by this employee) and went pants shopping. The selection of Levi's was vast, along with other possible candidates. The sale was buy 1 get 1 half off. So I figured why not. I was happy with the savings and was kind of expecting to pay more. And I think that's been my experience even at other locations. Those times have been for housewares and linens. I still beat up a Dyson I got a great deal on from a now extinct Kohls. The checkout was quick and friendly too, and with some kind of coupon to lure me back in. It might work....
