I feel like I lucked out with the $49 Walmart + annual premium sale. I just moved from out of state; where I visited my local Walmart just about weekly. Now in New Jersey, I believe my new Walmart is in Hamilton. I did virtually ALL my Christmas shopping there online, free shipping, delivered to my door, but wait; there's more!! lol. I get Paramount streaming for a YEAR. OMG. I won't deduct from my 5 star evaluation, but reading their billing is vertiginous, they need to define in lay dollar terms a reconciliation of each item that comes in on different days. So haven't been to this walmart in awhile. They are under construction, in the best way possible. They are expanding to a Super Walmart!! Yay!! It will be inconvenient for a bit but so worth it in the end. It will be great bc their isn't a super o e in the general area. Definitely a worthy addition to this walmart. I mean they've always had "the space" it just took a little longer. Better late than never i suppose. Can't wait. While entering the store I could not find any shopping carts available. The sitting at the exit store door employee suggested me to go back to the parking lot and pick one. So, I did. Inside the store there were many employees who tried to look very busy. The answer to my question about shopping carts shortage was, that the carts collection and delivery them in the store is not their job. There were not too many customers in the store, but most of them were elderly people (it was early afternoon). I just wonder, if this Walmart management hated their job so much that it ready to drain the company revenue on lawsuits covering customer accidents and health related issues on the store parking lot. read more

I've only been to this Walmart a few times.... The staff is friendly and helpful... They keep the aisles clear for the most part... It's not what I would call a Super Walmart because it's a bit smaller than others are... I also must add that if you blink you'll miss this Walmart because it's not easily seen from the road especially at night... Worst customer service. It seems like nobody knows what to do, or never try to go the extra mile to inquire. Half the people don't understand or speak English properly. Can't believe in this day and age the associates don't have a walkie talkie to communicate with the customer service department. So they can't leave their desk to help customers. I just left this location. TERRIBLE customer service. 2 ladies are working in electronics, I walk over and see the 2 asscoaites talking so I wait, they don't even address me, even though both look at me...After awhile I ask them if they work there and they say "yes", so I asked if they saw me standing there and why didn't they help me, the one associate tells me that she's helping the other associate while the other associates yells that she's on break. To be fair, you can only evaluate Walmart against other Walmarts because at their absolute best, the undercurrents of chaos, dinge, dishevelment and menace that add spice to any procurement journey simply cannot be replicated at any other mass merchandiser without the word "Dollar" glowing in neon above the entrance. Their East Windsor store on a random Thursday appears reasonably calm, clean and in what can only be described as a complete management meltdown, has more than three "associates" manning the check-out lanes. Heads will certainly roll if this defiant concession to humanity continues. Any trip to the Wal of Mart that spares me the indignity of their last chopper out of Saigon self-checkout scrum with readers that don't work and molten plastic bags that simply cannot be separated by anyone with less than twelve fingers is a roaring success. I brought my vehicle at 10am and was told it would take 2 hours to fix a flat. I agreed to their timeline and allowed my car to get fixed. 2 hours later, I inquired about my vehicle and was told that they're backed up and my car hasn't been looked at. Another 2 hours and they finally fixed. Their agents don't provide realistic time to have it fixed. They go MIA when you want to follow up. They take people out of order from the line. Wal-Mart's everyday low prices deliver! The East Windsor store is well-organized and well-stocked. There are major $$$ to be saved in the food section in particular. There are typically just enough human cashiers to keep your check-out time reasonable. The cashiers hardly looked thrilled to be there, and a few are surly with poor manners. My one complaint about this store - is that they should vet out who is allowed to fund raise outside the store. Once more if I could give a lower rating I would. As a person of a Native American tribe, this Indian lady sure knows how to be rude to my ASIAN husband and I. She kept throwing our groceries to us, telling us "this is a certain price" like we couldn't afford it. The first time we came here, we waited a long time because they were too busy talking to friends. The second time we came here, my daughter was placing the groceries on the cash register and the lady rudely says "if she breaks it you're paying for it" like we aren't already checking out. The third and last time we will ever be here, the lady was asking and telling me prices, telling me to sit my daughter down properly, throwing our groceries to us and nearly almost hit my hand. She kept repeating the price to us over and over like yes give us a second we need to transfer money over. RUDE. Don't recommend, they're constantly also restocking shelves and leavening aisles closed. They also have so many locks on different items, it's hard to check out. I don't usually complain about service because I'm understanding. But this here is just straight discrimination and racism. Smh read more

Jackson: Revenge may be a dish best served cold, however, a porcelain dish is not. Kept at approximately 63 degrees, I felt as if I was approaching hypothermia. A sound of bubbling kept me up at all hours of the night, but the soothing hand washing relaxed me right back. As I finished up, I enjoyed a thin mint to assist with the taste my mouth had acquired. Overall, pretty solid. Lewis: I visited this establishment nearly 2 weeks after my brother had last visited. It seems his visit had caused the cleaning crew to need to visit because the men's room was closed. I chose to instead visit the women's room which had a light floral scent that, while I'm not certain of the source, likely came from the very women that occupy it. Business was short but sweet. 4/5 stars, -1 for the inconvenience of being forced, rather than opting, to use the ladies. read more

This is one of the better maintained Walmarts around. It's usually not terribly packed and it it's pretty accessible. The associates are usually nice - I've haven't had many issues here. Toward major holidays, stock is a bit low and not restocked often. There's a Subway and an Auntie Anne's for an after-shopping snack, which are decent. Overall, it's convenient for making brief runs. read more

This is one of the better Walmart's in the area. The customer service is actually ok without the usual indifference or attitude. There is plenty of parking and for the most part not crowded. Based on my experience, I have concluded this is a horrible store (Walmart Store 3266). The morons who run it should be fired. The staff does not answer the phones, the clerks in the store are completely unresponsive, and you cannot get what you want. I attempted to use their auto shop for a new battery. Chaotic. Store is messy. Cashiers are incredibly slow. Even though they have several lanes opened, there are always lines.

What a horrible store. The service (employees) are terrible, the store is disorganized and worst of all, it's dirty. I ordered an item and paid for it online, I received an email that said it was ready. I waited a day before goin to make sure it would be ready. The employees had no idea what I ordered, were wandering in and out of a back room and the sales floor and the whole time it was in a drawer behind the counter. It took 18 minutes (clock on the counter wall) to get something that I should have gotten in about 2 minutes. Terrible experience, terrible store, bad employees. Don't bother applying at East Windsor Walmart. Walmart's personnel left a message on your phone, asking you to call back. When you call back every day for a week (all at different time of day between 9 AM and 5 PM), they don't EVEN bother picking up or answering the phone! Fitting room associates was so incredible RUDE, that at one POINT they hung up the phone on you!!!! Especially after moving to an urban environment and having to go to other Walmart stores, this Walmart is definitely my favorite! It's not part of a strip mall - nicely tucked back by a development. For the most part, the staff is friendly. My only complaint would be that they don't take good care of their fish. It always seems that half of them are dead when I visit over there :-/ However, when I mentioned it to someone at customer service, the woman seemed sincerely disappointed and even upset and said that she would report it. read more

A nightmare at the Auto Center with an oil change that ends with me waiting for a tow truck at a WaWa for an hour on 295 South to take me back 55 miles back where I started from. That morning I go for an oil change at Walmart, as I've done many times before. There's no one manning the desk so I have to complain twice to a lackey before, 15 minutes later, a mechanic comes from the back to deal with me and 3 other customers who have since gathered. The guy is friendly and duly apologetic; he talks me into a fuel injection cleaning at half price with an oil change, and I also ask for new windshield wipers. Fine. I'll be back. A few hours later, I'm in a line to pick up my car for another 15 minutes. Finally, it's my turn. But turns out that the windshield wipers somehow fell through the cracks. Whatever. Okay, $40 for the oil change and fuel injection cleaning. I pay, I go back to the car and look over the receipt. What? Says fuel injection cleaning was declined. I go back, all humble, "Please help me understand this receipt." Desk guy goes to ask mechanic guy, who explains fuel cleaning machine is broken. Okay, whatever, just refund me the difference, say I. Now he's on the phone calling for the General Supervisor, who doesn't respond. Finally he does. Store supervisor wants to send me to Customer Service for a refund, but I grimace, so they'll send someone back to the Auto Shop. Ten minutes later, I'm pissed, and ask to speak to Store Supervisor directly. He finally shows, I read him the riot act and suggest I should get full refund. He silently nods to lackey, who refunds and whispers "I'm sorry" (first "sorry" I get), as if not too loud for silent supervisor to hear. Okay, okay, let it go, say I; they gave you a refund. Six hours later, I stop for gas on 3 hour drive back to Maryland, and nic gas guy says to me, "Hey, your car is smoking." What? Car is leaking gas *majorly*. Oil is way low (although clean!). What now? Call Triple AAA (thank God for Triple AAA); wait an hour for tow back to Jersey repair shop near my parents, where I started (went up to bring Dad home from hopspital). This morning, head back to Walmart (in Mom's car) at 8:15am and ask to speak to General Manager of store. Nice old lady shows up instead, because Manager is in meeting. She's as sympathetic as she is useless. Promises to tell Manager whole terrible story. Pay mechanic shop $50 to replace oil filter: "Lucky it didn't fall off altogether" -- my car would have been toast today. I call that the straw that breaks the camel's back. Last time I go to Walmart for an oil change: not even an apology, let alone accountability. And it ain't even cheap!: $32.00 (or just $40 with fuel injection cleaning!, OR NOT). Ugh! I bought a package of ink and inside there were 2 empty cartridges from another company. I brought the product back to address the problem and get a new pack of ink, and all the customer service clerk did was give me a refund and send me away. I think that if I had seen something similar, I would have reported the incident and offered a replacement. I did not get an apology or a chance to speak to a manager. This just proves that Wal Mart does not care about the quality of its products or the care of their customers. I will never go back. (Not that I went there often to begin with.) read more

this is pretty much one of the worst wal-marts imaginable. they never stock there produce or canned food or jars ( i buy vegetables and fruits), the return area is the worst place only one employee dealing with a line of customers and no one helps they just stand and watch.
