It's not that anything needs improving, it's just that, well, since I haven't been to this Burlington in quite a few years, this location has changed in their store setup, offerings, basically the demographics have changed causing them to have to change with the times or die trying. I will preface that my niece and I stopped in the day after July 4th, so they may have had a better selection prior to the holiday and just may have been hit and not yet replenished. The selection was just, um, seriously lacking; both in their clothes and home goods. I remember Burlington being a slight step above, say, TJ Maxx and Marshall's, but this trip was opposite. My niece didn't find anything on her wish list for college. I'm thinking I'd probably have to become a regular weekly bargain-hunting customer, especially frequenting the store on truck days. read more

While waiting in the Line the Manager felt it was best to pull my cart to the side and call people who only had 2 or 3 items ahead of me. Had I been asked I probably wouldn't have minded. When I asked her why she was calling people a head of me, She stated, "she needs to get her line down". After waiting in line for 15 minutes and to be what I thought was next in line. Just to be completely disrespected. I just walked out, leaving my $300 cart sitting there. Not only did this business lose money but now you have to put it all away. IF I COULD GIVE 0 stars for rating I will! First of i wanted to start off by saying that i am very disappointed in this burlington location. I was supposed to be an employee here and was very excited to work. First day i came in there was no orientation it was just straight to work, and their apparent reason was because something was wrong with the system. Understandable. The days went on and everyday when being at work and completing full shifts for 2 weeks i was consistently asking them if they had an updated on the enrollment and the paperwork that was supposed to be done before payday. Nick the manager and Mayam always gave me the same answer which was "no the system is still down we are trying to find a solution". They weren't. It got to the point when payday came around and i asked them what was going on with the money and the paperwork. Keep in mind it had already been 2-3 weeks, they sent me home and told me they still had to verify a couple things and the money would soon come in. Everyday since ive been contacting them asking for the money and all they do is ignore me. Never in my life had i experienced a job this terrible and unprofessional. Pro Tip: Only go here during weekdays before 3 PM to avoid long lines. The merchandise has been a little cheesy lately. Went to look for my wife a coat today, and they didn't have a single coat at Burlington COAT Factory...SMH. The men's shoe department has been really picked through lately, and this location usually has nice shoes. I'm sure I'll be back in a week or so to see if it's any different. They have one gentleman who works there, lightskin older guy with salt and pepper hair, he is extremely nice and helpful whenever I get him at the register. read more

This place looks AMAZING! Not only can you get great deals on well known name brand merchandise, and apparel, but they look like they just had a major remodel! It looks like a brand new store in here. The people who work at this location are very nice, and extremely helpful, as well. Very accommodating, and pleasant. I am a fan of Burlington. HOWEVER, this store is usually usually lacking on merchandise as a lot of the time the racks seem to be empty. One may think that perhaps they are empty because there is usually stuff all over the floor... Who knows? It is not like going to the Dublin location where I can have something I am looking for, go to the aisle it's said to be in, grab it and go about my day. Here, I have to take time like I do at the thrift store. Although I usually find something, it is always an ordeal. I went in this morning with babygirl to find something for her to wear to graduation. We went to the section her clothes would be in and that is not at all what was in the area. I wanted to go early to avoid long lines that I usually find here. I was able to miss a long line. However, the lady checking me out was so preoccupied with trying to help her coworker because her coworker kept interrupting our transaction to ask about why something was coming up on another customer's lay away receipt that it too forever to check out. Not cool! There was no apology for the interruption or delay. As huge as I am on customer service (I am a certified customer service trainer for the NRF), this was a no no! I will say that it is nice to see there is still a layaway option for folks who see that fitting for their personal situation. That and I usually find something I love is the reason for the 3 stars. Burlington Coat Factory is a store that I have always loved shopping at at. So you can imagine I was super excited when I moved to this end of Columbus and found that there was one so close by. But it's proximity to my home is the only positive thing. I would gladly drive the 35 minutes to go to the one in Dublin over this one unless I were truly desperate. There are two reasons that I give this a two star rating. The first and more important reason is that checking out here is an ordeal. I have gone probably close to 10 times at different times on different days of the week. Every single time I have gone the checkout line has extended almost entirely to the men's shoes. I waited once in this line expecting it to be quick and after 10 minutes and not moving I dropped the clothes where I was and left. The other reason, as my picture hopefully shows, that I do not like this location is that every time I go it looks like a bomb went off. Clothing, packaging, and loose items are all over the floor in every department. I understand that this is a business that makes its money by selling stuff cheaply, but that doesn't mean it should be a horrendous experience. read more

Discount shopping with limited name brands. The store is highly disorganized, very dusty and lacking selection. In the market for a new work coat that can be used as a top coat to my suits. Obviously the selection was limited and I didn't find what I was looking for. The name of this place says "coat" factory, why then was there 3 rows of coats for women. Ok, 4 if you include another rack for clearance. Really, I had better luck at TJMAXX with selection and they are not know for coats. I did find a shirt that I liked but regretted wanting it since the line was long. The cashiers were rude and snappy, omg, slow too. This is not a place I will come back to and would ever refer other people to go. Please don't waste your time and come to this location. read more

If you have not tried this store, you really need to. I have found so many top quality items here and The prices are incredible. You name it and they have it, and I really like it that it's a bit of a treasure hunt with them getting a steady flow of new and different merchandise in frequently. I recommend if you see it and like it, it's best to go ahead and buy it, or put it in layaway which is awesome. I got a serious jump on my holiday shopping tonight and even though the store was pretty busy the staff was very courteous and efficient at keeping the checkout lines moving. read more

Ok so if you are on a budget and need to outfit an apartment, pick up some cheap jewlery or a quick outfit Burlington is your place. I have been working hard to save money and pay down debts. So I didn't have a lot of money to buy things, so I loaded up on a bunch of stuff and used the Lay-away option which is great if you don't have a ton of money. Just put 10% down, plus a $5 non-refundable fee. Pay down your balance in 90 days and voila, you have stuff! Not a huge fan of the shoes, or intimates. Soooooooo slow at this location with limited supplies. But you can still get good deals lol. The store is decent never too messy and organized. The cashier was very polite when I checked out. The only real issue here us help is never around or if you find someone they have mo clue where merchandise is located. Lets face it your on your own. But you can get items that range from a apple charging cord to gummy bears to a pair of shoes lol. The location on E.Main St in Columbus Ohio is a very good location. But one thing really upsets me and that is the restroom facilities. Now do I need clean restrooms to shop? Not really. But it does help. I went in to use it and was absolutely disgusted at the urine smelling stench. It was unusable imo. My 3 year old had to go so we had to handle our business and it was the worst 5min just being in there. I asked the front desk clerk about it and she mentioned that they had a crew to clean but obviously they haven't touched them. Please please please start cleaning them every hour.
