Great place to spend a snowy afternoon! Going down every aisle, seeing things from my childhood, from my grandparents house, and from places I never imagined I'd ever be! The choices are incredible! The prices are realistic, and some of the booths take you back in time! I've seen chickens, art deco, mid century modern, ducks, weird , strange, things, Barbie's from way back. , old cars, pieces, parts, and all the things in between! And I would go back in a heart beat! It's a great place to spend the day, buy some gifts , and buy your own self something too! When I get up to the counter to check out, everyone there is so nice and helpful! If I needed anything, they are on it! All they really need is better lighting. Some really, really dark spots in here. Had to use the flashlight on my phone on a couple of places. Isles are nice and spaced out, plenty of walking room. I mainly came for diecast cars and Barbies for my wife! They had more than enough $343 gone but was worth it! Hot wheels, matchbox, Johnny lightning, Miasto, you name it. Largest Antique mall, that I have ever been too. It was great to walk down memory lane and see many of the memorabilia I grew up with. The prices seemed fairly priced. My son found some stuff to add to his growing collection of transformers and He man figures. The team that attended the register were kind. Walking through this place is a real activity. It has rows and rows of stalls and stalls of different types of antiques. Each little area is curated by a different collector, and some areas are larger than others. Go with a list and a good eye and you can find some super cool stuff here at reasonable prices. It can feel a bit overwhelming at first with the amount of items and the size of the space, so plan to take pictures and give yourself time to wander. The front area to the right is full of jewelry, trinkets, and small valuables. The main room is where you'll find furniture, clothing, and everything in between. I like to stop in every so often just to check things out, and I'm always on the hunt for something different each time that I go. read more

I thought this was going to be a quick in and out kind of antique mall, but I could've browsed for a lot longer than I did. Nice section of smalls in the front. Not a whole lot of furniture. Booths that do have furniture, it's one or three pieces, not a lot and nothing too large. Lots of variety. I saw several items that I was interested in. Pricing seemed fair for the most part. I love this place and visit about 3-4 times a year. Big antique mall. I've spent hours just looking. I normally shop for vinyl records, but there's always something there to be fascinated by. I only wish their vending machines took credit cards because I work up an appetite. That won't keep me from returning. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check it out. Let memories flow. This is such a wonderful place To step away from it all and go back in time! And it's HUGE! A very Large selection of Antiques and unique finds! There are individual booth vendors so you never know what treasure you will find but if you like it you better buy it because if you go back to decide on a purchase chances are it will be sold. This is, in my opinion, the best antique store in the Columbus area. It's a large antique mall with many vendors. There is something for everyone in this place. Decor, vintage toys, movies, books, vintage clothing, jewelry, historical items. The front of the store has glass cases filled with nicer items like jewelry, very old and rare toys and decor items, military memorabilia, hand carved ivory sculptures, you name it. The items that are located in the cabinets closest to the counter are museum quality and very interesting to look at. I always like to take a minute to stop and appreciate these things as I'm entering the mall. If you're looking for a fun place where you can spend anywhere from 1 hour to an entire day browsing, you should definitely check out the Heritage Square Antique Mall. read more

Decent place and large. Nice variety of items and booths. Has a display case area also for more secured items. Plenty of help at front desk but none on floor to help or ask questions, could not find call button or lights either which is bad in such large space. (This used to be an old Rinks or Harts? location if memory serves.) Many places were dark I actually used a flashlight to see stuff in some areas. The prices are pretty high and it's consistently high around the room, maybe a reflection of being in a larger city. They only take offers over $80, which is a shame when your looking at a $75 item. They also use very adhesive tags so don't get anything 'fragile' or you'll damage it removing them. read more

I LOVE this place! I'm here all of the time and the staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Each vender has its own unique look and feel and what they offer is entirely up to that individual. You can find TONS of goodies here, big and small, more expensive and less expensive. Plus they play oldies music. I highly recommend this place. This place never is disappointing! I always find something that catches my attention and leave without it, then a few weeks later I go back to pick it up. Our last trip there was kind of unreal in my opinion. During our last visit my girlfriend and I found a 1960's Eames / Herman Miller swivel chair - black leather. When we came back to pick it up we took it to the register and the cashier looked at the price and told us that it was too much and that we should make the seller an offer. The full price was already very low compared to what you can find them online for. So I offered $25 less, she smiled and asked if we were sure. So I said, well why not take another $25 off. She agreed that would be fair, called the seller and came back with the final price being $50 less that what we were happy to pay. This is awesome - and why you too should come here and buy stuff. Their policy is that if something is more than $80 then you can negotiate with the seller. We highly recommend taking the time to do so. read more

Well, it almost goes without saying that any antique mall should be entered with trepidation. That being said, Heritage Square on Brice Road in East Columbus is a good example of a decent antique mall. It's well kept. It's not too overrun with people of a certain age. It has a large variety of vendors. Pretty much as good as this sort of thing gets. On past visits, I've found retro kitchenware, old maps and quality vinyl records, just to name a few items. Check-out service is friendly but slow. Plan on at least 5-10 minutes to check out. The store is located in a rundown old strip mall in a dying part of town. Many of its neighboring businesses have long since moved out. Heritage Square seems to be doing a decent business in spite of it all. read more

Absolutely one my favorite places to go!! My life is pretty stressful-especially with a wedding coming up-and it's nice to just go and immerse myself in isles and isles of history. I always find something here-wether that's a tea cup, handkerchiefs, an old book, or something. One of my favorite areas is the glass cases up front. In a word, disappointing. I would estimate that less than half of the stuff in this place is actually antique. The definition of antique is applied here veeeeeeery liberally, to the point that it loses meaning. Stall after stall of either retro (1950s and later) stuff and stall after stall of country-style / very shabby chic contemporary stuff. Neither of these is my cup of tea, but even if it were, this isn't appropriate merchandise for a place with "antiques" in the name. Lots of glass cases but very little truly high quality inventory. The place is poorly lit (some booths are very dark), and some of the booths are so messy, cramped, and poorly maintained that it's just a major turn off. And another observation - several glass cases were filled with Nazi flags, Hitler paraphernalia, etc. I'm not talking about an item or two, or one dealer. There were multiple cases with shelves of this stuff, including one case facing the entrance. Quite the "welcome", I tell you. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about the meaning and implications of the apparent abundance of this stuff in this region and the supposed demand for it. Even though all the booths here belong to individual sellers, the center must bear some responsibility for the objects it approves for display/sale. read more

A wonderful mall to visit and walk through. I was in the area many months ago, and enjoyed all the booth displays and purchased some fabric on rolls for a very reasonable price to use for drapes. Lots of choices with collectibles, antiques, glass and other decorations. the dealers I have met are friendly and helpful. The staff is nice and helpful as well both with locating items and calling for better pricing on some items if the item meets the set standards. They have a vending machine and clean restrooms! I wish this place didn't exist because I would have a lot more money. it's a fantastic maze of furniture, brick-a-brack and all around weird collectibles. they have this fancy tag system to where you grab the tag (it's got some fancy code on it) and take it to the front and they will move the furniture for you. Well, my problem is--I usually find about 6-7 pieces and can't decide on what. so, I'm usually snapping photos, and then trying to look through the maze to find my prize piece I've decided to take home. shopping there is a ton of fun, but putting together and finding what you need it cumbersome. Plus, I usually stop at Starbucks before, and they don't allow drinks, and I like to browse and sip hot coffee. read more

I wanted this to be one of those "hidden gems". I wanted this to be worth the drive to Reynoldsburg. And I wanted to find a mid-century treasure. Unfortunately, I was let down by Heritage Square Antique Mall. Maybe it's my fault. Maybe I romanticized this place. Maybe my expectations were just too high. I don't know what happened, but my pilgrimage to the 'burbs was a total bust. The Mister and I are moving in a week, so we're looking for a couple of fantastic new pieces to help fill the space. I had read so many great things about HS, so we decided to make the trip out to Reynoldsburg. We totally missed the building the first time. If you go, be sure to turn in the shopping plaza before Livingston - don't actually go down Livingston like Google Maps tells you to. HS is in a big warehouse-looking building - almost like an old Home Depot or Lowe's. When I first walked in, I was totally overwhelmed. There were just rows and rows of consignment booths. I was on the hunt for upholstered furniture, and I saw very little here. There was, however, a lot of other...um...stuff. What kind of stuff? Well, a little bit of everything - except what I needed, of course. If you want a treasure hunt for knick-knacks, dishes, and small wooden furniture, then HS is your place! But if you're looking for a place that's stocked with only high-quality, cool, vintage finds, then you might want to head somewhere else - like Funky & Functional. read more

This is a huge warehouse or some sort of old store space (I'm new to Columbus). Lots of everything and the prices are much better than those in the Springfield I-70 shops. My first trip here I arrived at 3 pm on a weekday and I only made it through half the mall by 6 pm! I returned the next day and saw the rest in about 2 hours. You could make a day of it and take a break for lunch. Fridays they are open later. You need a pad or notebook to write down the stuff you see in booths so you can revisit them to make a purchase decision. True, check-out is painfully slow. This is good and bad as the sales help takes their time packing your items for you. I also noticed that a customer in front of me wanted to make an offer on an item and the cashier took out a ledger book, made a record of the offer, and then called the vendor and they did a bit of bargaining over the phone. The customer got a 20% discount on the piece of furniture she was asking about. Good to keep in mind if you see something and want to try for a better price. read more

We have been coming here for years. Its huge and can easily take 4-5 hours to go through, more if you are looking for smalls. Prices can be good or bad. Just like any other thing YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR PRICES. I recently bought a beautiful mid century hutch for 50 bucks. Excellent price for an American Of Martinsville. ON the other hand, there are a few vendors there that charge double for their stuff. I like going here because the vendors switch out their product frequently. So if we are bored on a Sunday we can go window shop and see things we havent seen even a few months before. My biggest issue with this place is the service. They need more help. And they need more polite help. We actually once stood in line for 20 minutes and was ignored by the OWNER/Manager. We ended up talking to her about it. Its like this EVERY time we go and that is why we go here ONLY rarely now. I dont want to hurt the vendors though just because of poor service but really. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. The young girl that works at the counter (Owners daughter I think) looks miserable every time I am there. The only black mark on an otherwise lovely place. read more

The short of it - Best Antique Mall in the country. The longer of it - I love Antique malls and didn't realize there was one in Columbus! However when I saw the area it is in I was a little hesitant and when I pulled up it looked pretty small on the outside. However once you step inside it is as if you have gone through the cabinet to Narnia. This place is HUGE and so clean! There isn't a mold or dust smell and they have giant dehumidifier all over the store. I spent two hours here and made it through half the space. There are a lot of vendor and stalls and they have everything. Some more modern, some 50s and some very old stuff. One stall had tons of old photos and letters dated 1918. There are a lot of venders that have old tools, hardware stuff, and jewelry. If you can think of it it's here. I saw another review about the case with the Nazi stuff. I saw that yesterday too and it provoked a good discussion with the people I was with. What happened to the Jewish people in World War 2 is beyond tragic, there aren't words. But it is our history and this is an antique store. I think to assume the owners are Nazi sympathizers is ridiculous. Speaking of the owners I met Karen yesterday who told me they've had the store here for 15 years! Which makes the lack of smell and how clean the store is even more impressive. There was also a younger gentleman named Okeo who was excited to help and when he was checking me out didn't make me feel rushed, even though there was a long line, and was careful when wrapping the items I picked out. They also have little cubbies to keep items in with clothes pins with matching numbers to the cubby so you don't have to carry items or have a cart. read more

The two ladies who work here, I believe the owner and the daughter in law, are incredibly nice and take such good care of you. My parents came in to get me a special gift for Christmas and they were so incredibly accommodating and amazing to work with. This the best antique mall in town thanks to them. This place is huge! Unless my wife and I are in the mood to go antiquing for an entire day, which we never do, it will take us a couple of days to cover this whole place. It's like ebay threw up and this is the store they puked into. I'm not an expert on antiques prices or availability but to the noob who's just looking for a particular item (i.e. vintage beer bottles) this place does quite nicely. The helpers who work there are good but there are a limited number of them and they can be tough to find and get back to your location without getting lost. read more

This is the type of store that is dangerous for a gal like me, one that has random tastes and interest in all things kitsch. If you see something you want, BUY IT. Cause if you wait and come back it was most sure be gone. I went with the intention of buying a table for my tv and came up with nothing. But things that ended up in my cart were un worn ballet pointe shoes from the 70's (black swan anyone?) And a patterned trench coat. There's something for everyone and I mean everyone, including those who like to collect WWII memorabilia with an interest in German items ahem. It nice and clean and the sellers have a good array of quality furniture.
