We started with a great "Tagliere italiano" as entrée, a selection of Italian cheeses and cold meats. Then we had gnocchi and "Patat'a'luna" pizza which was absolutely fantastic. The pizza is very similar to our beloved Neapolitan pizza and we really enjoyed it. We also had a bottle of Valpolicella, which was perfect for our dinner. At the end, we finished with the Tiramisu and a really tasty Nutella Baked Cake which was just fantastic! Absolutely recommended. We will be back for sure!

Really nice outdoor seating and perfect outdoor area for kids to play while they wait for pizza. Often see the same people here, so a good meeting point for locals. Really yummy pizza!!…read more My cousins discovered this place and raved about the pizza, so we ordered it on a Friday night. We called and ordered three pizza and they said it would be 30 minutes. We drove there from the city and got there in like 15 minutes. Parking is as bit of a challenge, but luckily someone was pulling out and we got a spot. This place was packed! The kitchen was tiny, four chefs crowded around the stove making pizzas. We had to wait about 15 minutes and walked around. There were a few other restaurants, but they were all fairly empty. Got the pizza and it smelled so good. Couldn't wait to eat it. We ordered the fratelli's - with mushroom, rocket and proscuitto, the Napolenta - which had olives and sardines and the Gamberoni, which had prawns, garlic and lemon. The Fratelli was delicious and they didn't skimp on the proscuitto. The Napolenta was nice but not a fan of sardines. The Gameroni was yummy and the prawns were delicious! Great place for pizza, probably the best I've tried in Sydney so far..

I came with a group of 6 and we naturally had to order the metre long pizza ($62) al metro, meaning it could be split into 3 different types of pizza out of their 15+ choices so there's something for everyone. Before we did that we ordered some starters; the salt + pepper calamari with eggplant (this was awesome,) buffalo mozzarella salad, and sausage on toast (the name escapes me.) The entreés were good, though portions on the small side...but good start. Onto the pizza...I'm not sure what I expected, but I think I ate a bit of the hype machine because the pizza was just OK for me. The crust was crispy, dough was fluffy, but the pizza itself was a little too flimsy...flimsy enough you had to eat with two hands and the toppings fell off quite easily, so I found it more annoying than enjoyable to eat. I need to come here again to solidify my opinion, but for the time being, if you live near the CBD I wouldn't make the trek out here as there are other places to go. Order a small pizza on the side if you have 6 people, as the metre long will be gone in seconds and you may still be hungry.

We had the cheese wheel carbonara, which is quite the spectacle, and some Lasagna Fritti (which is crumbed deep fried lasagna bites). The Lasagna was quite good, didn't get much lasagna flavour as I expected, but was crispy and crunchy and a good snack. The cheese wheel carbonara is incredible, they trolley out this big cheese wheel, and put the pasta inside to melt and flavour it. It's quite a big serve (although they charge per person), and the end result is really cheesy and gooey. Note: You have to really like cheese for this dish to work. Service was a bit slow as they only had 2 staff on, but they were really friendly and helpful

I have to say that the 'almost famous garlic bread" will become famous. Then there's the deep fried lasagne, who thought of that? Totally delicious and thankfully served on cocktail skewers as small cubes, so just enough to be sumptuous without deep fried guilt. From there we went to chargrilled squid . The extra virgin oil they use here is premium and when combined with the flavours of tomatoes, garlic basil and the smokeyness of the squid... yum. We tried a selection of the pastas, my favourites where the pork and fennel pasta and the prawn ravioli for the flavour and silky texture. Then there was the pizzas which followed the same high standard set by the pastas. There's an enticing selection in either the red or white pizza offerings. Save room for the gelato!! You can eat here for less than $20 but treat yourself and you still won't pay more than $40 for samples across 4 courses. Service was fast and friendly. You may guess from that little paean that this is my go-to 'za joint and you'd guess right. None of this pan base crap. No bike wheel-thin, brittle dough with an artisan scraping of tomato sauce and three pieces of gourmet pepperoni. These bad boys are dripping with love and quality toppings, stacked high with colour and juice and topped with tasty cheese and chilli flakes and those ace little Italian anchovies I can't get enough of. My fave is The Special with pretty much everything and the kitchen sink on it. But NO PINEAPPLE. God help you if you order pineapple on a pizza. What are we, Polynesian cavemen?
