He had to give me the hard news of needing my wisdom teeth removed and also needing to have my cavities filled. He was able to give me a referral to a lovely oral surgeon who took care of my wisdom tooth extraction easily and he took care of all of the cavities. He truly cares about your comfort during the experience as well and uses longer acting topical agents for numbing so your pain doesn't come back as soon as your filling is completed. He explains things well and gives you enough information to make informed decisions. He treats you with a lot of respect as well. The front desk staff is really kind as well and he makes it easy for you to get in for appointments.

They do not usually take insurance but you can get reimbursed by your insurance after. Although this does not work for everyone, I recommend looking into it to see if this is an option because I swear this is the best dentist in MKE!

He seems to keep up to date on recent dental research and seems very attentive to any of our dental needs without going overboard with recommending procedures. Also, the TVs with cable in the dental chairs are a nice touch. They were also excellent with our 1 year old son! I thought he would run away when he saw the dental tools, but they made it fun without pressure if they couldn't finish the cleaning. They were able to finish though with minimal crying. They made it fun for him! They had a cartoon on the TV and let him see the equipment before using it. He also liked his sticker at the end. The waiting room has a nice view of the river, but I never spend too much time looking at it. Wait times are always very short! Also, they are very flexible with us when scheduling or rescheduling our appointments. I can't speak for the parking, because we live very nearby and walk. Dr. Post was strongly recommended to me, and I adamantly recommend him for anyone looking for a dentist or family dentist. As for Dr. Post, personally, I couldn't say it better than Hans D. did in his review. Super nice, down to earth, genuine guy. At the risk of being told that I'm odd, I enjoy going to this dentist!

Little to no wait time once I got to the office. P.S if you're looking to get a crown done, definitely come here. I was a patient here for many years, until they stopped accepting my insurance coverage…read more Pros: new offices with all the latest equipment, friendly staff, in-house crown lab (same day crowns - no temporary crowns!). Cons: they don't accept all insurance. And since they have their own lab, they like to wait for little problems to get big enough to justify a crown (rather than manage little problems more conservatively with fillings). They've invested in the lab, so naturally they want to do crowns - sort of a specialty, and the crowns I have gotten from them are very nice - function is great, as well as aesthetics. But my new dentist has pointed out a bunch of little cavities that can be filled right now. This approach should save me money as well as time in the dentist's chair, by postponing (maybe even eliminating) the need for a crown. Bottom line: if they accept your insurance, and you really do need a crown ... go to Tosa Dental; you will be very happy with their work. But if you would rather try to deal with issues earlier when they are smaller, there are other dental practices that do take a more conservative approach.
