That one-hour drive has been 100% worth it ever since! They've handled several complex dental issues for me that other dentists struggled with--especially when it came to achieving outstanding cosmetic results. The work is always precise, natural-looking, and done with genuine care for both function and appearance. I've never felt rushed or like just another patient; they truly listen and tailor everything to what works best for me. The entire team is exceptional. Dr. Rosen is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and has a calm, reassuring manner that puts you at ease. Amanda and Jeanie are absolute standouts--warm, attentive, and so good at what they do. The front office staff is equally friendly and efficient; they make scheduling and check-ins a breeze. Despite the distance, I'll keep coming back because Wauwatosa Dental Arts simply offers the best dental experience out there. If you're looking for top-tier care, especially for cosmetic or challenging cases, this is the place. Highly recommend--5 stars aren't enough! Thanks to the whole team for taking such great care of me all these years!

After doing some research on Yelp and beyond, we decided to give Elmbrook General Dentistry a try. I'm so glad we did! I was the first to go and had such a positive experience. My dentist and hygienist are both incredibly caring and kind. Everyone, from the folks at the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists themselves work to make this a warm and welcoming environment. Since then, my husband, son, and both my parents have begun coming here. And, all with the same rave reports. Between us all, we've seen three different dentists and we've all been incredibly pleased with the care we've received. They also have an in house periodontist, which is helpful if the need should arise (rather than having to navigate going to an entirely different office). I've met him and he's incredibly warm and kind as well. Zero complaints with our experience here and would recommend without reservation.

I then tried another dentist (name rhymes with floss) and was extremely dissatisfied! I finally ended up at Elmbrook and have been amazed by the experience. Where as the last dentist was in a hurry to get you in and out as fast as possible, I did not in any way feel rushed at Elmbrook. Quite the contrary. Everyone that worked on my teeth were pleasant, caring and professional. My hygienist Carrie did a wonderful job getting my teeth back in proper shape after the inadequate cleanings at the past two dentist had resulted in significant tartar buildup. Dr Plecas and his assistant Rachael did an excellent job on filing two cavities and installing a crown. The amount of time spent on just color matching the crown, for a tooth in the back of my mouth, stood in stark contrast to my experience at the previous dentist. Literally everyone at Elmbrook including the receptionists strive to make your experience as pleasant as possible. I strongly recommend Elmbrook to anyone looking for a dentist. Even if you are satisfied with your current dental care, I believe that the level of service and technology at Elmbrook is worth making the change.

After two appointments with Generations Dental, I requested my records and transferred to another…read moredentist. The practice used false-color images of my teeth to try and convince me that a patch on the rear of an upper molar needed to be removed due to decay and a crown put in its place. (An expensive procedure not fully covered by my insurance, even 'in-network'.) My first appointment with my new dentist confirmed that there is no actual decay, and that the removing the patch is not necessary...at least not yet. Furthermore, the dentists are not respectful of my hearing disability. My instructions to them of what to do to ensure accurate communication--how to speak to me during procedures when my hearing aids are out--were frequently ignored. It is not acceptable to respond to hearing impaired persons by saying things like: "Don't worry...," "It's OK...," or "...not important." Individuals with hearing disabilities are not to be treated like children. This practice functions like a "dental procedure factory," and I would look around before engaging them as your dentist.

I was asked 6 months prior to the procedures to give them my insurance information/insurance cards and that my costs/copay would be $400 per child for the wisdom teeth extractions/procedures. Further I was told that I would be contacted and notified for any additional costs. The procedures were completed 6 months later to then be utterly surprised and shocked that Generations was out of network for my insurance & the procedures would not be covered. I can't understand why Generations did NOT call me/contact me in the 6 months after receiving my insurance information (prior to the procedures) to tell me that I'd have to pay out of pocket & the costs would be greater than $2000 per child vs the $400 per child I was originally told? What was the point of giving Generations my insurance information 6 months prior to confirm benefits? Had Generations Family Dental faithfully explained to me that they were not an in-network provider then I would've canceled the appointments & found an in-network provider. Outside of this incident where Generations lost a 25+ year patient & family their prices are the highest in the area for average service... you are paying for their "appreciation movie" and the cookies & apples and all the other things they supposedly "give" you. I'll take a no frills, fair and accurate provider any day over their fluff, lies & misinformation.

However, I really just wanted to walk into a dentist's office that looks like a house, has six waiting chairs, and there is plenty of golf digest. Here are some notes: 1. The seem very efficient but... 3. ...usually I get my teeth cleaned first and then the dentist would check everything out. But, they had a dentist check my teeth first and then cleaned them. I am 29, which means I have been to the dentist about 24 times. I have never experienced a dentist's appointment where the dental hygienist got every single little thing. C-P Plus' system completely negates an approval process that your teeth have been 'properly' cleaned. 4....they did do a good job but I should have the dentist check out the entire scope of work. 5....this may have just been because C-P Dental does not let you schedule a cleaning on your first visit. Your initial visit consists of x-ray's and a dentist exam. They will book you on the spot for a cleaning but I wonder if this is how they always do it.
