I just tried this place after reading the reviews, and I am glad for it. To start off, you cannot get better French fries without going to Amsterdam. They are hand cut, homemade fries that are just the right thickness, and cooked perfectly. Their burgers are made with fresh beef, and they are smashed flat top type burgers. It's not my favorite way of making burgers, but the fact that they are fresh beef makes them delicious. The small menu allows them to make their food with expertise. Highly recommended. read more

Everything is prepared fresh. So your order might take 10-15 min. but it's well-worth the wait. The prices are just right. A note to management: Please add deep fried chicken bites/pieces/poppers/fingers to your menu. The breading you use on the chicken is incredible - a real winner. Went in around 815p. Staff very engaging and friendly. However, they were out of sliders, chicken and cheese sauce. That's especially rough because the menu is so small. Limited menu so far, burger, chicken sandwiches and fries, been there within a week of grand opening so choices could be expanded. Interior of place clean and fresh, white subway tile and music from quality audio system, gives the place a good vibe. A little disappointed in the lack of burger choices. How difficult can it be to add, burger, double burger, extra cheese Swiss burger, avocado burger, fries onions etc.. Expecting the menu expands as time goes on. Has quickly become our go-to burger spot (via Doordash) Classic griddled burgers with fresh toppings and ok, albeit limited, sides. The kids love the sliders, and the chicken sandwich is also a standout if you want something other than a beef or veggie patty or a fried dog. Not sure if the onion rings are made in house (they seem pretty generic), and fries don't travel particularly well. But this place still has one huge plus over our other favorite burger spot: pickles! An absolute must have for a legit classic cheeseburger. read more

My boyfriend and I were looking for a good burger for dinner tonight and I was excited to try somewhere new in Clifton. Initially I thought the place was super cute and liked the simple and refined menu. Both my bf and I ended up getting two house burgers and a side of fries. We decided to sit and eat our burgers in house and none of tables seemed to have been wiped off. When our food came the burgers were good but the fries didn't seem to have any seasoning and were pretty bland. But the staff was very hard working and cared about the restaurant so maybe we'll give it another try in the future. read more

I like the concept but the single patty burgers are too small. If you eat a restaurant cheeseburger and you are still hungry, the burger portion was too small. That should never happen. The Burgerstrasse single patty cheeseburger looks like a Wendy's Jr. Cheeseburger at 10x the price. Call it fresh or whatever but it's too small by any standard. Came here tonight with my fiancé as we wanted to try a new burger place. Man are we glad we did. The burgers came out so juicy and is paired perfectly with a potato bun. They reminded me of shake shack but even better and bigger. We ordered the regular and sweet potato fries and they were just as good with a great crunchy exterior and soft interior. I like that they cook it on a griddle, and it's just the right size. The fries are awesome as well. I don't walk out of there feeling like I'm over stuffed, but still feeling full. This is my third time here and I have to say it's been going downhill. First time was when they first opened and the sliders were on point. The second time was a few months later and I figured I'd try a burger it was just OK, not worth the price or the hype. Today the sliders were really bad.It was basically a dry thin chopped up patty separated onto little buns. Some sliders had a long skinny piece of meat others had two little pieces of meat piled on top of each other. So disappointed...I really would have enjoyed White Castle more. Sorry guys. read more
