The service is great and very friendly. She told me all about Burgers field and how you can order. She even told me about catering options if companies want to have them cater on Mon or Tues since they are so busy on the other days. Hidden gem for sure. Also.... They take Apple Pay!!!
Top notch smash burger's everything is fresh never frozen. Waited about 30mins cause they were busy but definitely worth the wait. Located in the parking lot right next to Green acres liquor store. Limited amount of seating so make sure you get there early or you're tailgating. They do phone orders as well if you wanna got that route. The service was exceptional and the owner and staff really friendly. The smash fries are bomb the sauce is delicious and the burgers are seasoned well. It he menu is simple burgers and fries nothing else so if you're looking for a variety or you have a picky person with you that doesn't like burgers leave at home or go somewhere else lol.
I got my Smash on at Burgersfield a while back! Had the pleasure of trying one of their burger combos at their food truck. Service was great! Ate my combo at one of the tables they set up next to the truck. My cheeseburger was one of the best I've tasted in Bakersfield. My Smash'n Fries were yummy too. Much better than fast food fries. Both the burger and the Smash'n fries included grilled onions, cheese, and their smash'n sauce. Definitely recommend you give Burgersfield a try. Money well spent on a good meal!
Wow! I want to eat this burger and only this burger until I perish from this earth. Unbelievably tasty, hot, and the fries were killer too! The food court is so nice with the breeze and water fountains. Friendly staff sealed the deal!
A friend told me about this place. He wasn't sure of the hours or days of operation, but he said I had to try it. I did a little research and found that info and enlisted my foodie partner in crime to join me. The red truck was easy to find...in the Pappy's parking lot on Rosedale, next to the liquor store. We parked and walked up. Sign pointed us to where we needed to order. We waited in the line, listened to the good music (No Parking on the Dance Floor by Midnight Star) and decided what to order. I went with the single patty combo with American cheese. Combo includes fries and a soda in a can or a bottle of water. My friend ordered the double patty combo with sharp cheddar. There are two tables with chairs next to the trailer. We sat and waited for our order. The wafting burger smells made me a little impatient, but fully with the wait. The burgers were perfectly smashed on a nice soft bun and had just the right amount of sauce and grilled onions. I loved the melty, gooeyness of the American cheese on mine, but the stringy cheese pull of the cheddar on my friend's burger was impressive. The fries were so fresh! Thin, crispy, soft, salty. All great things for fries. This truck is open from Thursday through Sunday and I surely want to visit again!

From the east side to far west side, it was well worth the drive. Had a hankering for a smash burger and wanted to give these guys a try. We drive by it at least twice a week and it's always an option we forget about. More so because of the drive. Not tonight though. Decisions, decisions. Since it was our first time I wanted to keep it simple. The menu is not complex. Your options to choose from are simply stated and visible. No fine lines here. I opted for a single cheeseburger combo (burger, fries, canned soda or water). I chose pepper Jack cheese, lettuce and pickles (only dill, no sweet. Perfect!) with the Smash'n Sauce. My husband too ordered a single cheeseburger combo but instead of the sauce he got ketchup and the grilled onions. The girl taking our orders read everything back exactly as we said. When it was as ready, she brought it out to our table. You could tell right away the fries were fresh just by the smell. The burger was cooked to perfection and the hamburger buns they use are just right for these type of patties. Meaning you're not eating more bread than you are burger like they serve you at other places. My husband enjoyed his burger just the same. It all tasted great and the owner and his crew were really friendly. We'll definitely make the drive again. So go get her smash on!!
Very cool! Interesting hours, but we just happened to hear about this place when it was opened. I believe their hours are Thursday to Sunday 1-9? Burger flavor was INCREDIBLE. Their sauce is BOMB!!!! They don't have ranch, but that sauce didn't make me miss that at all. Please note that their burgers are not large. Even a double cheeseburger won't feed you like a standard double from somewhere else. Overall, very very good. Wish there was MORE MORE MORE! The Smash Fries are truly the best smothered fries ever. The fries on their own need a secondary fry session. Still super yum.

YUM! This place is sooo good. We've been waiting for a smash burger place to make their way to bako & this place does not disappoint. We ordered the cheeseburger & smash fries. SO good. Everything tasted really fresh and delicious, you have the choice of three cheeses and additional toppings which is always nice. I love that you can add chopped chilis on everything. It's a food truck so the seating is all outside, which is to be expected. The employees are very very nice & accommodating. Love supporting local, we will be back.
Oh my god the food was amazing. The burgers cooked amazingly and the smash fries were doused in sauce. Just one thing tho and that is the sauce reminds me of in n out special sauce but i think contains more pickle juice or something. Personally I was a big fan but my gf was not ( she works at in n out lmfao). The server was fast and recommended everything perfectly and the time to wait wasn't bad either considering they made it fresh! Given that it is summer, that have set up canopies and other stalls have as well so plenty of seating for big parties. The ones specific for this truck are under a red canopy and have plenty of shade! Would definitely come again if I didn't live so far away
I had to try the smash burger. It was a pretty good burger but the fries were better. The burger could of had more flavor in the meat. I think the person could of smashed it like 8 seconds longer to get that crisp flavor of the meat. They had very friendly service!
I would of shared a pic of the hamburger but it was so good I inhaled it, as I was eating I told myself I have to submit a Yelp review. This food is upgraded in&out food and I am not exaggerating. The hamburger and fries fresh and taste amazing, I'll definitely be back. I do have to add , great great customer service, very welcoming and friendly environment, hard to find that now days.
Everything was fresh & delicious! A very solid smash burger and one of the better ones I've tried in town. A lot of reviews were commenting on grease.. it's a smash cheese burger... lol But I definitely didn't think it was very greasy. The fries were also pretty delicious and they have a very tasty 1000 sauce. Will be back when I need a smash burger fix. read more
Stopped for a meal last night at the Patio off Rosedale where the Burgersfield truck was located. It's basically a food truck park where different food trucks will set-up every night. The menu was straightforward and reminded me of In-n-Out. I ordered a double smash burger combo with cheddar and came out pretty fast! The fries were thinner than expected and had a good crunch to them. The burger was standard and was something I would eat again, but wouldn't actively go out and crave. Parking in this area is in the dirt, and had plenty of space around 5pm. There was some music playing for the area and there is plenty of seating especially for groups of 2-6. Overall, I was really looking forward to try this place and enjoyed it for the quick service, ease of ordering, and the fries were the highlight of the meal for me. read more
This place was bomb!!! Tried their burger the traditional way with American cheese. Perfectly melted cheese, off but crunchy patties. I honestly don't think there's another smash burger spot in Bakersfield and this delivers! Their smash'n fries are like In n Out minus the terrible fries. These fries are so much better. One thing they did differently was have some bigger cuts of grilled onions in the mix instead of just minced. It was a pleasant surprise! Fernando the owner was amazing. Family run business and you can feel the passion. It was close to closing time when I visited and this guy was still full of energy. Greeting every guest that came by and made sure he knew what people thought of the food. I love watching people take the plunge into the food industry and succeed. Come early because this place sells out! They were down to 15 patties left when I came by and they closed up shop right as I received my food. That's what happens when you got good burgers! read more

Walked up to the truck and was immediately greeted by staff, they were super welcoming and helpful. The food didn't take too long to come out, standard for anything cooked fresh. I could immediately tell these were fresh fries, I would describe them as what everyone wished in-n-out fries were. The texture of the fries had a nice crisp outside but soft potato inside. I got the single cheeseburger, next time I would get the double just because smash burgers do have a thinner patty. But the meat was cooked perfectly, and the bun was so soft. I will be coming back here and I hope more people will try it out!! We were hesitant to try this out from the little yelp reviews but I just think not enough people have tried it yet. :) read more

So we ate here last weekend and had a cheat day! We are LOW Carb and had buns and fries last weekend. Yesterday we stopped and enjoyed the Double Cheeseburger lettuce wrapped and let me tell you delicious! Sad we could have the soft yummy bun and fries but it's nice to know we can stick to our diet and still have something legit good. Burgersfield is doing it right guys! Go try it if you haven't! read more

Me and my family were craving burgers and was about to head to in n out. Decided to finally try out Burgersfield. Went to their new location where they have more parking spaces and tables and chairs and luckily it was the perfect weather to sit outside. Noticed the owner passing out orders and creating every table asking how their order was which I honestly appreciate. Ordered the double cheese burger and the passion fries (secret menu). Off the bat everything looked delicious. Started off with the passion fries. I was already low key full with just that honestly. The fries had the best texture I have ever had on a fry. I couldn't believe it?! I went in on the burger and requested extra pickles. You can immediately taste some spiciness from the peppers which had the right amount of kick to it. My only con to the burger itself was that it was pretty greasy and going through the bun and paper wrap. Other than that it was overall pretty good and my family would come back. read more

Double Cheeseburger is juicy and rich in flavor. I could taste the high quality in all of the ingredients. At first, I thought the price was a little steep, but quickly understood once I annihilated that bad-boy... Sooooooo Gooooood! What does "smash" mean, or if it's the sauce what are the ingredients?
Smash is pretty much what it is, the smash the patty down fairly thin the edges will get a little crispy if done correctly. Not sure if you've been to a Steak N Shake back East kind of similar. They will usually have onions…
