Lovely small business with an involved and hard working owner, and staff that are very friendly. The service is fast. The food is consistently good. I love the fried zucchini! My kids like going there for breakfast and getting the French toast with a side of hash browns, or the breakfast burritos with a mix of bacon and sausage. For the last few years our PTA has ordered their bacon and sausage breakfast burritos for the middle school's Honor Roll breakfasts, and the kids love the food. Both the red and green salsas are made in house, as well as the carnitas, the birria, and the other taco meats. The zucchini is cut and prepped in house too - maybe that's why they're so good. A lot of other foods are prepped here too, and not just delivered from their suppliers. Tip: Order in person or call in your orders, instead of using the website. The food here is consistently good--especially the burgers and fries, which are my personal favorites and the main reason I keep coming back. The cooks are always friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate. However, the customer service from the front staff could definitely use improvement. The women who take the orders often seem visibly upset, rushed, and unfriendly, even when the place isn't busy. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere that takes away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. If the service matched the quality of the food, this spot would be a five-star place. I hope management considers working on staff training and customer interaction, because the food really is worth coming for. read more

I wanted to support them since they were a mom and pop business in Alhambra. I heard they had good nachos from another social media post. Placed the online order in my car while parked in the back and then walked inside for pickup. All ready within 15 minutes. Fast and good service. Food is freshly made and tasty. The zucchini fries are some of the best I've ever had. An order came with 10-12 freshly battered zucchini sticks. The pastrami burger had a pile of yummy pastrami on top but the burger patty was a bit on the thinner side though. I also tried one of their carne asada tacos. It was a large sized taco with double corn tortillas filled with a lot of seasoned meat, pico de gallo, cilantro and onions. The salsa verde was solid too. I've been dining here for, maybe 13 years? The convenience of ordering over the phone and having my order ready when I get there is really nice since my time is my greatest possession. To add to that is that the food is always great. Alhambra, San Gabriel, Monterey Park, East L.a. Pasadena we are surrounded by some really great options for our food intake. What sets Burgers apart from others is the great service, on top of the already five star meal. I eat out a great deal more than I should because of my business and my personal life being what it is. The one consistency I always appreciate is the smiling face, the great attitude, and someone who shows appreciation for me spending my hard earned money at his establishment. I go to some fast foods that take at least five times longer than they should. Some that grunt instead of speak, or whisper instead of speaking up or speaking clearly. Some that act like you're bothering them with your presence. Some with really great food that have no clue about the importance of their paying customer. Forget eye contact, that's not even part of the equation. There's a lot to be said for a great attitude, the human connection, and someone who enjoys, or at least appears to enjoy the fact that you've brought your money to them. The human connection matters these days. With all the insanities that surround our daily lives, it's a nice to be able to drive through an establishment that is a breath of fresh air for a hungry stomach. It was a very good burger, nothing too special but the ingredients were fresh. I really enjoyed it. The fries were exceptionally good! The person that took our orders was the mother of the owner. She was nice. My husband asked if we could get two rica horchata for our combo drinks instead of a soda and she filled it for us as a one time exception since it usually costs extra. There were the original and orange flavor. It was very sweet so I didn't like it. If you check in on Yelp, you'll get a free medium beverage. We went inside to order since it was my first time here. It was good that we were the only ones there bc I wouldn't want to be close to anyone at this time. I liked the menus because it was very colorful and neat. The words are very small thought.
