Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a restaurant. Food is spectacular and homemade. Got the dry asada burrito, soft taco, and homemade guac.

Little restaurant on the side of the road, very good and the staff are so sweet. The food was delicious and they have a good variety of everything. I got the red chilaquiles with carnitas and it was SPICYYYY a little too spicy for me but I could see other ppl loving it. The chips were also just a bit soggy, but still good. My family liked the michelada and the prices are good. Would come again with my family :) the steak picadillo was really tender and delish too

Green chilaquiles, beans, potatoes, carnitas (pork meat) and a fried egg on top. So delicious!

Good food and good customer service; Lots of parking. However they do not take Apple Pay. They take credit card but they charge you to use it. They seem to prefer cash.

The food here is terrible, don't get fooled by the name, the food tastes nothing like El Tepeyac Cafe in Boyle Heights. The meat and sauce smell like dog food ... i took 2 bites and tossed it in the trash. Beams smell foul cheese was old and the meat was bland. They have no business using the same name and same menu items as the Original Manual's. The Hollenbeck was awful.

I love coming here! Small hidden restaurant that serves great Mexican food. I've been coming here for over 12 years. I usually get this: cheese enchiladas with Spanish rice covered in meat sauce and a coke. Tastes great and looking forward to my next time here

Located down the street from Costco in an area surrounded by industrial buildings, this tiny mom and pop spot has become our go-to for chilaquiles. Red or green, you can't go wrong. Service is always on point and they will refill chips and salsa to your heart's content. Over easy eggs mean no runny whites and tortilla chips still have a bite despite being immersed in the flavorful sauces. The sprinkling of cotija cheese adds a lovely salty bite, the crema has a cooling effect. The sides are just as satisfying. The diced potatoes are well cooked- soft with a good amount of crispy edges and the retried beans are creamy and delicious. Easy parking in the lot or nearby street parking.

Great Food! Great Horchata Ice Coffee. I usually have the chilaquiles and my boy friend the red wet burrito and we both love it! The portions are good and the price is decent for the portion you get. Green salsa has good flavor. Outdoor eating available but we usually pick up to go.

Tried this place out for the first time today. This was the saddest cosido I've ever had. Exactly two pieces of meat, two carrots, and two zucchini. Where are the potatoes or the corn?? Definitely will not be back. Oh, and it was over $12, NOT worth it.

Albondigas soup and chile Colorado tostada .

Omg a true mom and pop place, hole in the wall....just 5 min away. I loved the name The name, Little Cowboy. It's in a small mini mall hidden by metal bars and next to a barber shop...but its here...got lucky at 3 pm on a Tuesday and slipped unto a free parking spot but I bet this place gets busy...Because it's gooood!! I ordered the #2 taquitos, but it came as the #1...no matter, i loved the flauntas,, they were huge, crunchy, and I had them with the fixings which was lettuce guacamole and crumbled queso...5/5. It was preceded by chips, they tasted fresh and crispy, nearly all were, except for that first one...but i used the chips to scoop up the awesome frijoles, the frijoles were da bomb 6/5, just traditional fijoles, nothing fancy...perfection. The Jamaica was refreshing and not too too sweet. Nothing was overly salty, and it was all reasonably priced. What's a hidden gem. Don't be put off by the exterior of the place...its good here. I'll be back to try everything... especially the chile relleno. I love it when I can support a mom and pop place. Especially when it's so yumm!! Oh and shoutout to Diane for the friendly accommodating service. She made the in-restaurant experience lovely and comfy for this single diner. Thanks Diane.

Date of visit: May 10, 2026…read more Selections: Enchiladas de Mole Experience: We had called on Saturday, aka the day before Mother's Day, to see if we could make a reservation, but were told to show up early and we will be seated regardless if our whole party was fully there. We were going to be there a bit before 11:00AM originally on Sunday since their website said 11:00AM, but Yelp said 10:00AM was when they opened. So my husband called on Sunday to check and they did indeed opened at 10:00AM. When we got there, there were already three sets of groups seated and they had to rearrange some tables for us since our party was nine people, which only took a couple of minutes to arrange. We were served complimentary chips and salsa as well as water as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. I had quickly chosen my dish cause I'm a sucker for mole and there were only two options that had it, so I ended up getting the enchiladas de mole. The servers were great and the food was as pretty good too. I ended up taking leftovers home since I had eaten too much chips and dip before my actual food came cause the server refilled our chips on our end of the table like four times. The mole was pretty good and I wish there was more of it and didn't really enjoy that there was veggies inside the enchiladas since I think I was expecting more chicken than veggies inside. Not a big fan of beans, but they were pretty good with the melted cheese on top and the rice was good too. I definitely loved the decor they had and the designs painted on the walls because they eee so pretty and provided good photo op backgrounds.

For the prices they are asking, wife & I expected some pretty good food. We were fooled. The food was below average. We've had tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, etc. at half the price of this place, and they tasted twice as good. The chicken here was a mix of white and dark meat. Which is fine. But how is the dark meat so dry? White meat also pretty dry. And was there any seasoning on the meat? Didn't taste like it. Enchilada sauce was very minimal in amount and flavor. Taco just ok. Drinks tasted fine, but overpriced and weak. All in all, if we are going to pay these prices, we expect very good food. This food was not worth coming back for, even if the price was less. I will say one thing, their beans are good.

My mom ordered the pozole verde and rajas con crema. Everything was going good until the server very rudely came and asked my mom to stop feeding my 9 month old baby because he was making noise and that "he had other guests and it was a bother" . We were both left in shock and it took us a second to process what he had just said. We had only taken a few bites of our food and we were commenting that it was good but this man's rudeness left us speechless. There was only 2 tables seated aside from us one gentleman and a group of 3 gentlemen on the other other table. I walked up to them and apologized if my baby was disturbing them and they all said no that he was not at all and they had kids and knew that the baby's were baby's. We felt extremely uncomfortable and discriminated by this man that I just asked for the check and left without even getting thru half of our food. This is such a Disappointment because they are suppose to be a family restaurant which I would assume is okay with children at their establishment but I guess not. There should be a sign at the door that says NO CHILDREN ALLOWED specially the ones that make any sort of noise. Management I expect a response from you! This is not okay!
