The staff acknowledged this, explicitly promising to change their gloves and put a "special request" flag on the order to ensure it was safe. They put the special request on my food and still, the burgers arrived covered in ketchup. The most alarming part? When I called to complain, the manager's immediate defense was that the employee claimed my boyfriend "only mentioned the allergy but didn't say no ketchup." This proves the staff discussed the allergy while preparing the food and still chose to put ketchup on it (instead of just asking). Any competent food service worker knows ketchup is made of tomatoes. They acknowledged a medical risk and then ignored it. To top off this dangerous experience, the manager told me he "didn't like my tone" when I called to tell them what happened and ask for a refund. I did not swear or scream; I was rightfully firm and upset about a mistake that could have sent me to the ER. To the Store Owner: 1.) Review your camera/audio footage from the drive-thru at 5:21 PM. You will hear the clear request for no ketchup. 2.) Review of the internal recordings of my phone call to the store at 5:51 PM. (I assume you have a recorded line). You will hear a manager more concerned with my "TONE" than the fact that his team served a known allergen to a customer.
