Was starving around dinner time - got in the BK line and ordered their spicy chicken sammich - it was made to order - was hot, crispy, and spicy! Hot the spot! Well done! This was fine for an evening pit stop on the way home. Be careful they don't take cash so you'll need a card for the screens. Also take your time with the screens, look through your specials and options to buy what you want, not what they suggest or push at you. They don't really have juices so just order a soda and use the fountain. But it's a Burger King that supplies a lot of people very efficiently and isn't just quick grab and go. read more

This is inside the Thomas Edison rest/Service area. Don't bother going to walk up to the Burger King and place an order because you can't! Everything has to be done through the kiosk which is not even marked that has to be step number one. You can only pick up at the sign. The order queue is hellacious! Looks like they have two people working here on a very busy Monday dinner time rush(7:30) before Thanksgiving! Very poor planning. They are super slow. After I ordered my meal, there was a forty-five minute wait to retrieve my meal. I had to listen for my order number and name to be called from a Burger King employee. This was the longest wait time experienced at any fast food establishment. I will avoid this Burger King location in the near future. read more

Waiting 15 minutes for a double cheese burger & soft serve ice cream, after 15 minutes of waiting they tell me there is no ice cream but it was on the menu and i was still able to buy it. So they proceeded with a refund, and after 10 minutes they tell me i should get an item instead so i get a frosty. After 25 minutes of waiting and terrible experience do not buy from here if you want to be disappointed. read more

Absolutely disgusting place that needs to either close or get an entirely new staff and management team. Here's a short list of what they were out of: Onion Rings, Orange Juice, BBQ sauce, along with every single burger (including the Impossible meatless one). It took them over 45 minutes to get our meal! I waited 25 minutes while they called everyone around us, then waited another 10 minutes to hear we didn't have food because they lost our ticket after someone put it on the register and forgot about it. It took another 10 minutes to bag up chicken nuggets and fries... both of which were sitting under the heat lamps and were cold by the time I got the bag. But that's not the worst part. I watched several of the food handling people touch things like receipts that were handed to them by a customer, cash, countertops outside the peel area, even a customers phone without changing gloves! Absolutely nasty- even by New Jersey rest stop standards. On the plus side, I guess I have a great story along with a reason to avoid fast food? read more

(Burger King #14915 - Thomas Edison Travel Plaza, Mile Post 92.9 NJ Tur Woodbridge, 07095) We stopped along the turnpike just after midnight on a Friday night. We ordered two burgers, two fries, and two bottles of water. Apparently, that's a tough order for this crew. The two people working in the front were clearly overwhelmed and were complaining that they weren't getting all the tickets to know what people wanted, but that was compounded by the one guy on the grill not having a clue as to what he was doing. It may have been his first day. He was asking for someone to come and help him. Eventually, the manager appeared from the back. She yelled at all of the employees, took the few tickets from the front that they did have, went back to the grill like she was going to help, yelled at the front not to fill a big order that was waiting, and then vanished, along with the tickets. We, along with many others, continued to wait while the employees were lost about what to do. After twenty minutes, several of us asked them to get the manager back out front so that we could at least get our money back. (Our order was $25.) The employees looked for her, but she vanished. Maybe she quit, or maybe she had other priorities, but running the Burger King properly wasn't one of them. We eventually got our food, but the person who ordered before us was still waiting, the person who only ordered a hamburger was still waiting, and the manager was nowhere to be seen. What should have been a quick stop took almost an hour. (It should be noted, that even after being publically admonished by the manager, not having a clue what to do, and dealing with frustrated customers, the employees remained very polite and were apologetic. Waited 30 min for one sandwich. Kept getting told it would be out, then they said guess it didn't go thru. Girl on the register with the clear glasses was nice and apologized. The manager was rude. They took extremely to long for a simple breakfast order on top of that they didn't have any syrup for the 2 orders of French toast sticks i ordered! I feel like they should have let that been known because what is french toast without the syrup ??? Just plain disrespectful!
