this wawa is horrible i went once months ago and they made my hoagie on a bagel without telling me they didn't have the right bread. just assumed a bagel would be fine when they have SO MANY different types of bread they could've made it on had they asked me. today i went and as soon as i walked in i knew it was the same wawa i didn't like. today they made my iced coffee very warm like they poured hot coffee over ice, and i ordered 2 snack wraps with ranch and lettuce and they gave me it with cheese and bbq sauce. asked them to remake it and they put SO much black pepper on it like enough to cough and sneeze. so disappointing. read more

They had me sit outside the drive-up window for 10 minutes waiting for an order that was called out but not actually ready for pickup. The attendant said they were preparing the meal then. We stopped in Wawa on the way to Aldi to grab a bite to eat. I ordered the tuna sandwich via the portal and went to the register to pay for it. Johnathan rang me up. He was super-friendly and upbeat. He said "Don't you just love their tuna sandwiches?" I told him it had been awhile since I had one and he said the tuna was absolutely delicious. Let me pause right her to give some praise to this young man. Johnathan's cheerful attitude and professionalism was just plain awesome! And I was tickled by the fact that he actually loved his employers food. It was like "wait a minute! Someone who actually likes their job!" It's why I'm giving 5 stars. The sandwich was delicious but this young man deserves something special. Give him Employee of the day or something. Let him train the other employees on how they can offer better service with a smile and kind words. It's not often a consumer like myself runs into a great employee. My new daily Wawa! Honestly, one of the motivating factors of me moving home to Jersey was access to Wawa. If you think I am even a little bit joking you don't know me. I also remember a time when Wawa was a southern Jersey thing, and you had to be Asbury or south to find one. Times have a changed, in a good way The fact that I can stop into a Wawa on my way into Columbia every day is a blessing and a...well its really just a blessing. Freshly brewed coffee*, gas, sometimes lunch? Yep, doesn't get much better than that. This particular location is in, like most Wawa's are, a PERFECT location. Directly where Route9/35, and the Parkway split, and not too far at all from 440 (eww Staten**) meet, this spot makes it easy to stop, get what you need, and be back on your way in no time at all. The staff is super nice, and the sandwiches have always been on point; though as I've always said, the Achilles heel of Wawa sandwiches are the bread....be better Wawa, I know you can be. My only real complaint about this place are the gas prices, but that's always the case with Wawa, and you better bet that I'm going to pay a bit more since I'm here anyway...and I'm extremely lazy (read: my time is valuable?...nah I'm just lazy). All in all, this is a great Wawa that performs very well for being so heavily trafficked. This Wawa is particularly clean, well-stocked, and quick with service. Conveniently located near the on-ramp for both the Turnpike and Parkway, it sees it's fair share of daily commuters and tourists passing through. The coffees are always stocked with a variety of flavors (hazelnut, French vanilla, regular, decaf, and something snazzy like pumpkin spice) and more milks and creamers than I realized existed. Gas station, air pump, and public restroom are all handy before or during a road trip. I just really like Wawa... Especially the jalapeño cheese stuffed pretzels. The three staff members behind the counter making food we're incredibly unprofessional cursing and talking about some other male worker that they dislike loud enough that all customers could hear. I love Wawa and am very disappointed each time I come to this one. This is the third time I am not happy with a sub from here. First time, my cheesesteak's toasted bread was hard as a rock. Thought it was a fluke, it was not. Same thing the next time. This time I didn't get the cheesesteak, I wanted to switch it up and got the Italian Hoagie, being sure not to toast the bread since I am sure they think that means they can use stale bread. Still disappointed. I had to just take it apart and put it back together because all of the meat and cheese is stacked in one pile in the crack of the bread so my bites were straight meat and bread. This is a review for the food service. When I go to this Wawa, I usually have a good experience. Fast service, order is correct, good tasty sandwiches... Until today. I asked for a chicken parmesan sandwich, with additional lettuce, spinach, oregano, and grated parmesan cheese. I came back to my work desk with a dry, sauceless sandwich with no oregano that seemed like it was literally only toasted for 10 seconds max. Just stopped at the newly built Wawa for a quick lunch. The sandwich was delicious and built EXACTLY as I wanted it with the help of their touch screen ordering system. Ingenious!! No need to give the order to a person, have to repeat what you want on the sandwich 3 times, only to unwrap it and find out it's wrong! I usually like this Wawa, the employees are either usually nice or unbothered but never rude. The coffee taste good and the lines are fast. But on this particular night/early morning (around 3am) I had just gotten off of work and I was starving. I enjoyed their Quesadilla once before and it was close to home so I stopped. They say nothing good happens after 12am and I believe that 100%. As I walked into this Wawa I had to stop and think if it were indeed almost Halloween or if a cat was giving birth inside because the loudest banshee noises were burning my ears. Nope to my relief (?) it was a drunken Earthed form Ursula hanging on the order counter and talking nonsense. She wasn't my problem so I continued to order. I like to think of myself as a considerate shopper and enjoy my Quesadilla slightly burnt so I always make sure to special order. In my prior experience they would yell out my number and ask what I would like. This time I noticed that the guy behind the counter was feeding into Ursula's "Poor Unfortunate Souls" routine and not fulfilling the orders that have been made with about 3 people waiting behind her. I go to pay and came back with my ticket. I walk up to the counter and tried to get washed up Eric's attention, since he must be under a spell to continue to add to this drunk mess, but that wasn't happening. At this point I realized Ursula was his visitor. After 20 min he calls my number. Which I'm confused about since he never asked what my special order was. I proceeded to tell him I special ordered it and I want it double toasted. He looks up at me with the sassiest attitude I've seen in a while and snaps that I did not and "yea i'll double toast it for you when I'm done with all these other orders." While now, from how slow he was going there was a pretty big crowd waiting for their food. THEN drunko gets involved and they start talking about how rude all customers are. I couldn't believe that this Wawa employee was really the human Flotsam. I don't know if it was the lack of sleep or the fact I literally saw the main villain from my childhood in real life but I walked out. That dude was rude and I haven't come back. Let's revamp this. Here we go! This is one of the more modern, and bigger locations. It's also one of those that has a gas station too. They even have a free air pump. Hey, you can never go wrong with getting fuel and free air here! "Bigger Means Better." - Compared to the Avenel location (which I frequent A LOT), all of the merchandise inside is spread-out, with plenty of room for myself to venture around. With that, nothing in here was cramped, and I really liked that. Their kitchen area is huge too (unlike Avenel), and takes up the space that is almost shaped like the letter 'U'. Around that space, people could order hoagies and prepared, tasty coffee drinks from the easy touchscreen. People could also watch them make the various food and drink items, too. Awesomeness!! As with any Wawa, this location carried various potato chips, candy bars, gum, a limited supply of merchandise for personal hygiene, bottles of soda (big and small), milk (including flavored), 100% juices, fruit flavored drinks (NOT 100% JUICE), iced teas, and water. They also carried gallons of milk, cartons of coffee creamers, various ice creams (big and small) in containers and ice cream bars (including Snickers!). They have a shelf that contained Wawa's own plastic coffee tumblers and their own K-Cups for the Keurig machines. They carried bags of ice, too. They had a soda fountain that allowed you to mix various syrups (including chocolate and vanilla) with your drink, which was good. They also had a shake machine too. They had areas where patrons could grab prepared snacks and salads that are packaged up in hot and chilled areas. Patrons could also grab certain breakfast items in hot areas as well. Finally, they had a bakery case filled with donuts. I had a doughnut here before, and it was tasty! I can never forget about their self-serve coffee area. With the complimentary area for adding creamers, the coffee tasted great. I just wish they had the Mocha flavor forever, instead for a limited amount of time. Whenever I'm in the area, I tend to fuel up the car, and then go inside. Most of the time, I go for their self-serve coffee. Other times, I go for their soda fountain, or the handcrafted coffee drink area. Once in a while, I buy a doughnut here. Everything tasted great, and I've never had an issue with customer service. Also, the shelves here looked very organize. The location is off of US-9, and located in a nice spot where people could fuel up and/or grab something to eat or drink on the go before jumping on the Garden State Parkway North and the NJ Turnpike. Patrons can also enter Wawa from the side street that brings people to the GSP-N /NJ-TPK entrance. The parking lot is shared with an Aldi's on the same property space, therefore finding a spot isn't an issue. Overall, a great location for those to fuel, grab, and go! read more

Wawa is to Jersey what a Bodega is to any of the boroughs. I've visited twice now and the fast paced, packed parking lot, and long lines that move then stop cold are worth the trip. We saw the billboard for sizzlis @ 2 for $3.33 and had to stop. Not a fan of their bagel sizzlis but the crossiant, oh my. If you love a buttery, fresh, crisp crossiant with your choice of turkey sausage or bacon or ham and eggs or egg whites and cheese I need you to stop by in the morning. We loved them. If only their employees had the personality of Quick Check employees. Perhaps it's the constant flow of folks but their employees seem unhappy and the two we asked for help seemed bothered by our questions. Forgive us for not knowing the ins and outs of navigating around the store. By the way if you take the survey at the end of the receipt you will earn a hot or cold fountain beverage of your choice. I come here so often with my boyfriend for our WAWA run as we like to call it. Let me start off by saying CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE, SUCKS BIG TIME. My boyfriend had went to wawa to grab a drink and the cashier ended up breaking the drink & decided that she wanted to give my boyfriend a nasty attitude and told him if he wanted another one he had to grab it by himself. Remind you my boyfriend didn't break the drink. So much for an attitude. Wawa is in a league of their own. Incredible hoagies and a diverse selection of other products and beverages. I like to stick to the Wawa brand. Their double Dutch chocolate milk is insanely good. They don't make it in a size other than a pint. That is because it is sooooo good and doesn't deserve to be compared to other types of milk. One of my friends told me it's like drinking ice cream. Either way, Wawa employees tend to be some of the coolest people on earth and they always open two or three registers when lines get too long. Their system works and it is paying off. Love this Wawa way better than the other quick stops around the area. Easily accessible from Gsp, Tp, and 1&9. Gas attendants are fast and friendly. As well as the staff inside. Even with the high volume of customers they are able to get you in and out. Food is better and more variety than fast food places, I also feel that the quality is better and you get more for your money. I've never actually wrote on here before, but I thought it really important that I bring this to the attention of any future customers. Mediocre food aside, this review concerns one of the managers who were incredibly handsy with the female employees. They were incredibly young (they looked to be teenagers) and the manager, who was a much older (actually, just old) man, was doing things such as touching them when walking by or putting his hands on their waists. The poor girls were very obviously uncomfortable and scared, as was I watching this happen while I was just trying to get a milkshake, which wasn't even that good. The manager's name was Ali, or at least, that's what his name tag said. Please please PLEASE do not support a business with people like THAT in charge. read more

I love this Wawa! It's very conveniently located off the highway right before you get onto the Parkway in Woodbridge. The gas station has plenty of room and there's always a decent parking space. Food 4/5: The hotdogs are great for a quick to-go and the toppings bar next to it is clean and offers many options. The counter service is light any other Wawa, they have never been out of any toppings or food during my visits. The quesadillas are a bit mushy, but otherwise the food is great. There are many options for drinks, chips, candy, etc. The breakfast food is also good and you can pick it up almost any time of the day. Service 4/5: A few ladies behind the counter have been rude to other customers, but I have never personally had a bad experience here. The cashiers are all incredibly friendly, talking about the weather, wishing us fun on our way to the beach/home/etc. Really a great pit stop en route to the Parkway. read more

I started using Wawas less than a year ago at several different locations, including: Woodbridge, Elizabeth, Keyport, Parsippany, etc. Love the coffee - always fresh 'cause the staff makes sure any coffee left longer than 15-20 mins(?) is dumped out and replaced with freshly brewed stuff. Not so sure if 7-11 or QuickCheck is on top of their coffees as Wawa is. As a car service driver, having a cup of fresh coffee several times a day is essential! Also enjoy their donuts, apple fritters, and muffins to go with the coffee every now and then. Lastly the service is top notch and generally friendly. Woodbridge Wawa is my favorite location; the one in Elizabeth needs better supervision to be on par with the others in terms of service - just sayin' read more
