We were the only customers in the restaurant . The person who I assumed was the manager ( Julie) was bagging for drive thru. Not once did she look in our direction. I'm only 6 feet behind her. 6 minutes later she turned around and asked if we used the kiosk? No hello, no how are you , nothing. While placing the order, my friend was asking questions about the menu and she seemed to get frustrated with his questions. She even told him while pointing at the menu , all the information is on the menu board. We received our order rather quickly but after a few bites of my sandwich I was not able to continue to eat it since it was so cold. When I returned to let the so called manager know of my situation, she looked at my sandwich and said, well you ate half of it. I told her yes I did try a few bites but I was unable to continue due to the temperature. Without any apology she yelled back in the kitchen, I need a whopper with cheese, make it hot. Another employee gave me the sandwich and to my amazement, the bottom half of the sandwich was too hot from the microwave yet the top half was just as cold as the first and this time the bread was rock hard. I have had issues with this place in the past. But when im literally going to open the door to get a simple burger and the, im assuming manager, wobbles right up and locks it in my face and tells me from I could im out of luck. Never again. If you like poor service this is the place for you. They made an honest mistake by not putting cheese on a sandwich. I brought it to their attention and was met "you have to pay for it" I was asked when they were ringing me up if I wanted cheese...yes!! Instead of slapping a piece of fake cheese on the burger and calling it a day, the manager escalated it to a refund of the whole order by informing me it wasn't free for her, and it would not be for me either. They lost about $8.00 in product because of a total refund of the $16 I paid for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks over a simple piece of cheese that cost them .15 cents if that!! Good job Burger King! This isn't the first time this place has given poor service to me but this is the first review of them as I'm not going back ever again. Terrible service overall. I use to work in fast food I know the tips and tricks to bring food back to life. Sometimes you can't bring food back to life this unfortunately was one of those times. I was so dissatisfied with what I got I had contacted the manager. Looking at my food I told him that my food was burnt and nasty. Worst customer service is not enough to describe what happened to my family and I today at the drive thru of Burger King site located at 2150 Valley Ave Winchester VA 22601. After we decided to end up an argue over a silly coupon and pay the bill in full, the manager made it even worse by yelling, throwing the credit card in my face in addition to slamming the window and using multiple time the F.. word in-front of 4 kids. This is one of the worst burger kings over ever seen, went there at about 10pm on 11/9/22 and whoever was behind the speaker said "I'm closing alone tonight it will be 15 minutes before I can make your order" then when I said "okay that's fine" he was huffing and puffing into the mike saying "oh my god" under his breath and just being generally unpleasant would highly recommend spending your money somewhere they aren't gonna treat you like garbage. read more

My fiancé and I came here for lunch because I wanted a burger, so we got two Whopper Meals. We get in our car to look at the burgers and they had no cheese and we're BURNT. I went back in to get new burgers and even our new burgers were very burnt. I was very disappointed and frankly I did not eat my whole burger because of the burnt taste. Been here a few times. Usually it's alright. I don't expect perfection from a fast food joint. But this evening I was in the drive thru line and there were only 3 cars ahead of me. Lucky me, I thought I beat the rush. All I wanted was a Diet Coke and an Angry Whopper. So I pulled up to the speaker. After about a minute I said hello? And a few seconds later was greeted by someone saying they'll be with me when they're ready. What took almost 5 minutes before they came back? No clue. As of today I think I have given this Burger King one too many chances. It's fast food, I'm not expecting a 5 star meal, wrapped in silk and ever so graciously placed in the bag, but it would be nice to get at least 75% of what I ordered. The three of us at work today needed some quick food and chicken fries are always a good go to. Out of the three orders of chicken fries we ordered and paid for, we received only one, and the box was upside down and opened in the bag leaving them scrambled up with an order of fries that were also just chillin in the bottom of the bag, like one big salad of fried goodness. The beverages had zero ice cubes in the cup. One of the guys had also ordered a sandwich, and to our surprise there was indeed a sandwich atop the fry/chicken mixup in the bag, but somehow it was exactly the opposite of the sandwich he ordered and we really can't tell if it's chicken or beef....kinda sketchy. So here we are, three grown adults sharing one order of chicken fries. Gross ! I stopped by when visiting Winchester. I had to wait at the drive-thru window. Despite signs explaining their COVID policies, nobody was wearing a mask (some were under chins), workers were coughing, yelling, laughing over top of our food. Put in my order and waited 30 minutes. I'm the last one in there and the cashier asked if I was waiting for anything. I said just the only order that wasn't filled. They found it and made it. Too bad they made the wrong food. Then when we got the food, my daughter had a foot long hair in her mayonnaise. Top it off, the soda machine was apart. As soon as you walk in to the front door a sewer small attacks you. Did not great you when you walked in because they were to busy talking. Went to use the bathroom and the bathroom was disgusting! Maybe that is where the smell was coming from. Took 22 minutes just to Order yesterday. Food prepared sits while the staff converse. Its cold, 12 french fries in the large container. They charge for a cup of tap water! With so many places in Winchester, there is no reason to come here. Just tried the 'Ultimate BK Breakfast Platter' . I declined the coffee size upgrade and asked for cream for the coffee. What you get for just under $6 is 3 pancakes, a biscuit, scrambled eggs, a sausage patty, hash rounds and a small Seattle's Best coffee. For starters they forgot to give me the cream for the coffee and no silverware -- not even a 'spork'. Also forgotten was syrup and any sort of simulated butter-type product for the biscuit and pancakes. Fortunately I was not on a road trip where these omissions would have been more pronounced so I drove home and warmed up what was provided. The hash rounds are the typical BK fare and on par with McD's potato slab. The biscuit came with an almost impenetrable outer shell that was difficult to consume considering no toppings were provided so it hit the trash can first. The powdered scrambled eggs were sort of tasteless and were scattered around the tray so it took some effort to first gather them up onto the fork (from my silverware drawer). After one bite I was thinking that this must be what jail food tastes like but I was hungry so I finished them. The pancakes were OK for fast food fare -- especially after I added my own butter and maple syrup. The sausage patty was the standard type offered by most fast food joints. The standout of the meal was the SB coffee (with creamer from my fridge). It was as good as McD's coffee, which is not bad as fast food coffee goes. I guess the reason for its superior quality is due to the fact that it is not made by Burger King. Would I try breakfast from BK again? Yes, if it was the only food within a two-hour drive of any other restaurant or gas station or vending machine. Otherwise, no. read more
