Great service- super friendly and helpful. Food was fresh. Bathrooms aren't great but the dining area was clean and well stocked.

So we came here after a wine tasting event in town. This place was really convenient and extremely close to the freeway. This is the first time I had been to Burger King in 20+ years. 9-19-2025. Fire the manager or close the store. We always stopped by for french fries for the kids. NOT ANYMORE! We got two orders of the inexpensive fries which came out to be like 9 tiny fries per package for $2.50 so we got like 18 fries for $5.02. They had a weird chemical taste which lingers on the tongue unless you eat something else. I wondered why there were no cars!? Time for them to sell the store. It's August 14, 2023 @ 4:25 pm. My wife and I just came from hiking Echo Canyon Loop. 1st time to Wilcox. We were indecisive on where to eat. We quickly decided on BK. Thinking, a National Franchise restaurant would be a good choice. Walked in, went to order our meal. While waiting for our order. We walked around the restaurant to find a booth to sit. The place was empty, open booths and tables. As I approached one table, I saw flies on the table. The next table, flies, some small baby flies (usually means maggots are hatching). The tables were also dirty. I went to use the bathroom, it was filthy. Toilet looked like it was never cleaned. Some type of dead insects in the corner of toilet. That's when I decided to get a refund. This place was filthy, unclean, gross, ... Empty restaurant one would think this place would be spotless clean and sanitized. Was thinking, "if the dining and bathroom was this dirty, how was the kitchen and quality of food". I hate to report bad reviews. But this place is in need of change. And that's one of the reasons I write reviews. read more

Decided to stop here for breakfast and what a great selection. I hadn't eaten at BK in years and will have to rethink that. The croissant egg, cheese and meat choice were very good as well as the taters. And there were many other selections including French toast sticks and pancakes. I have never been to a Burger King where I had to actually walk out due to the lack of professionalism displayed by the employees at this Burger King. Their mouths were filled with so much foul language, every employee was cussing, talking very loudly and so rudely to one another. Talking about each other's moms and telling sexual jokes to one another all while my con worker and I were in the restaurant trying to eat. I was so shocked and extremely offended. Christine is the manager on duty and was apart of all this chaos. This behavior should never be tolerated. And my partner and I could not even finish our meal. Stopped here passing through to Phoenix and I have to say it was a pretty unpleasant experience. Like some of the other reviews I can't blame the counter staff. Half of them are literally brand new and can't even operate the register without assistance from (I assuming is) a manager. Sitting there for about 25-30 minutes eating it seemed like every other drive up order had to stop and walk in to get some sort of correction or replacement to their order. Now that has been said I HAVE to comment on the freshness of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. The food we ordered tasted like we ordered it yesterday and they just reheated it in a microwave. Just not good stuff. We still ate almost half of it because we were distracted by the constant buzzing of flies all over the dining area. Dozens of them on every surface. Then I was unfortunate to drop something on the floor... there was like a layer of grease and grime that I could move around with my shoes and peppered with the carcasses of cockroaches and other insects just right under the table. Crunching them under your shoes. After we "finished" our food, we went to dispose of our trash only to find that all of the trash cans were turned around and missing bags. So everyone was just piling up trash on top and letting it fall on the floor. Come on guys. This isn't acceptable even for a side-of-the-road fast food restaurant. Just close down for a day and really scrub this place down. It looks like it hasn't even been mopped since opening day. read more

Service was terrible, the manager was rude to my grandmother for just asking a simple question in a polite tone about a change they made to the parking lot. The manager then proceeded to talk down to her and treat her as if she was trying to argue when it was just a question. I myself work in customer service and to see a manger act this way is beyond me. read more

If the folks from BK HQ ever make their way to Wilcox, I'm quite certain they'd lock the doors, pull down the sign facing I-10, and take a back hoe to this mistake. Frankly, I stopped in Wilcox to grab a Big Mac and tour the McDonalds restroom next door. Much to my dismay, when I exited the freeway, I discovered McDonalds was closed for renovations. I m not a real big BK fan, so I debated driving another hour to Lordsburg, NM, where there's a massive new McDonalds. One reason I'm not a BK fan, is because periodically, I discover some really poorly managed franchises in dilapidated, filthy, old buildings. Against my better judgment and instincts, I drove next door to the Wilcox BK. Lesson learned: Always follow your instincts. On pulling up, I noticed the exterior of the building was the style of BKs designed in the 1970's. It was not a nostalgic moment. It was just foreshadowing. Inside the store, it just got worse. Absolutely filthy. I always theorize that if the public spaces are filthy, what's lurking in the back of the house. Second lesson learned: when the dining room and counter areas are filthy, the kitchen and restrooms are filthier. I was now feeling adventurous, because some med student told me in the '80's that bacteria is usually killed when it's heated to 180 degrees. I ordered a regular burger-not a Whopper. I didn't have a thermometer with me, because, well, who the hell drives half way across the country with a meat thermometer? One of the few valuable things I leaned in college was that BK puts frozen patties on a conveyor belt over an open flame that cooks their burgers and outs little black stripes on them, indicating that at least at some point, BK burgers reached a temperature sufficient to kill bacteria. I ate the burger without incident-then or later. I concluded from this experience that it is possible to dine in a filthy fast food outlet without getting food poisoning. Nonetheless, I think I'll forgo another similar experience by avoiding Burger King indefinitely. The chain simply lacks proper self-policing of their franchisees. read more

I their Coca Cola freestyle machine: I got a Minute Maid zero sugar peach lemonade. It is delicious. My son got Mellow Yellow Zero ! So yummy! The staff, especially the cashier, was efficient and cheerful. Only downside... nasty toilets in the otherwise clean bathroom. But it is beautifully located on the I-10. read more

TLDR: This BK had me wait 25 minutes for stale food, forgot my sauces and I found a hair on my fries. This Burger King is awful. I ordered Chicken Fries, regular fries, mozzarella sticks, two bbq and two ranches and an iced tea. The girl at the window told me to pull forward, so I did, where I then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for my food. After the two cars behind me got their food, I went inside to see why I had not received mine yet. The interior of the restaurant is grimy and really needs a deep clean. I went to the counter and the man behind the counter rudely asked me what I needed. Apparently they had lost the ticket, so they pieced my order together with items that had been sitting under the warming lamp for assumingly a really long time, considering everything was soggy. I specified several times that I wanted my sauces, and it was ok if I paid extra for them, since they weren't on my receipt. When I checked my bag after I left, there were no sauces. So I went back, and got the sauces. When I began to eat however, I found a french fry with a dark hair, picture attached. I called the store, and asked for the manager. Apparently the manager of the store is on vacation at the moment, and left the store in the hands of a half trained employee who I would say is, with her current level of training, unfit to be a manager of a store unsupervised. She did not know how to process a refund, or offer me any more than a replacement of my fries. Thoroughly disappointed, will not visit again. read more

Drove up and not only was the lady rude that took our order, but it took 30 minutes to even get out food. The same lady that took our order brought out our food and was even more rude and told us to not come back. Like wow burger king think you need to vet your employees. Waited over 16 minutes from the time we placed our order at the drive through window to the time we received or order. The order was incorrect; we ordered and paid for a double cheese burger, but received a single. The only thing that was hot and fresh was the fry's. This Burger King sports one of the friendliest counter service ladies I have ever met. She just seemed thrilled to be there. I had been driving for three days straight, so I was just thrilled to be standing rather than sitting (I walked over from the next-door gas station; they share a lot) but her enthusiasm was infectious. At least for two miles, then it was back to the drudge. The layout is a bit weird. Off to the side is the usual dining room, but facing the counters, there is one table. The only other patron in the place, and the only one sitting, as I was just waiting, had decided to occupy this awkward table. I can only suppose he wanted to be near the enthusiastic employee. Not sure why all the lower ratings for this Burger King but I find it to be one of the best. Every time I stop it's solid with prices on the low side always friendly. I live in Sierra Vista home of perhaps the worse Burger King so when I'm passing through Willcox this Burger King is a real treat. read more

We stopped on our way to California for lunch. It's right off IH 10 so the location is great. The counter server was so friendly. She had a smile on her face and was so polite. The food is your traditional Burger King food, our burgers and fries were hot so no complaints. I do have one major complaint though. Considering this location is so close to the interstate, I'd expect the bathrooms to have a diaper changing station. It's hard to have to change a poopy diaper in the car. If it wasn't for that I would have given this location a much higher score. read more
