I visited 12/18 at 2:10pm - there was no one at the front counter and the manager seemed to be holding a meeting with the staff talking about some other customer issue. We sometimes go to this drive through and have no issues. My son always sees the slides and asks to go in. Yesterday we finally let him. It was an awful experience. The play area was locked. We asked an employee and they said to ask the front counter to unlock it. When we asked, they said it's closed for maintenance. If your not going to have it accessible, please take down the pay area. My son was crying. Also it was lunch time on a Wednesday and the place was crowded with high school students cutting us in line and being very disrespectful. read more

Avoid this place if you can. It's always a big headache. They always get my order wrong and their orders always take a lot longer than any other drive-thru I go to. They often tell me they are out of something after I've paid for it and when I ask for a refund they tell me to just go to the app. It's aggravating and it's happened several times now. The manager doesn't care and even implied I shouldn't be complaining! What?! I just need to avoid this place at all costs and go somewhere else. I'm done with them. Burger King is a corporation and probably doesn't care as long as this store makes money but it's very sad to have such poorly run fast food in the area. How do you write a review for Burger King? The food and menu is identical between locations. I suppose it comes down to service, and that's where this location really falls short. I honestly don't know if any Burger King location is better, but this is the one that is local to me. It's unfortunate, because this part of West Orange is a fast food dead zone, offering no other alternatives. I would probably go there more frequently if it was better. There's a McDonalds about two miles away, but frankly two miles is a lot when you want something quick. Sadly, it's the quick part that is this location's biggest issue. Despite being called "fast food" you will rarely be handed your meal at the window. You'll be asked to pull forward, find a parking spot and wait. It really defeats the whole purpose of a drive-thru. This happens even if you've ordered in advance using the app. The other problem I've experienced on several occasions involves poor order accuracy. It's easy to tell if your bag contains the wrong item or is missing something, but if you're like me and order no mayo or extra pickles, good luck. You have a 50/50 chance at best that it will be what you ordered. Having said all that, the food is no worse than other Burger Kings regarding quality and the staff seems to be doing their best, but the management really needs to address the whole "go and park" thing and the order accuracy issues. read more

They actually don't deserve any stars at all. The people at the counter are rude, have nasty attitudes and can't stand the fact that they have to serve you. They behaved this way in front of my eight year old child and he even made a comment to me afterward about how rude and mean they were. Even an eight year old is more mature than they are. A manager needs to address the workers about their nasty attitudes. I'm speaking in particular about the staff on weekday afternoons (Thursdays). read more

Came here on a weekday evening around 10pm. There were only 2 people working (both of them were awesome). Because the restaurant was understaffed we waited about 15 minutes for our food and items were missing. Still giving three stars because the attitude of the restaurant staff was fantastic. read more

I visited the drive-through on 1/3/2024 at about 5:17 PM. We were asked to pull over to the side as they prepared out order. After waiting 18 minutes for chicken nuggets fries, mozzarella sticks and one burger, we finally got the food. We got home and the nuggets were like rocks, the fries were also burned, the mozzarella sticks tasted horrendous and the burger bun was hard. We threw all the food out and ordered from Wendy's. How hard is it to actually sell the food you offer on the damn menu? This is a failed location. After sitting at the drive thru speaker and watching several cars order and pull forward to pick up, I drove to a parking place and went to the counter. It took several minutes before I was acknowledged and several more before someone attempted to assist me. I ordered the kids meal I'd come for, (plain double cheeseburger, fries and juice). Got my bag in a more reasonable time and went home to find a plain double burger that was not pleasing its recipient. Buyer beware. For this review, I feel it's appropriate to use a pros and cons list to summarize the establishment. PROS -Conveniently located near the high school -The morning staff and manager are generally friendly and accommodating -The food is on par with other Burger King establishments CONS -The frozen Coke and Fanta machine is out of order on probably 75% of the visits I've made here so good luck if that's what you like -During peak hours of the day the wait time is egregious -Come in prepared to park to the side and have a worker bring food to you if you utilize the drive-through -The customer service is very spotty. While there are some great workers, there are also a decent amount that just appear disinterested and won't bother to greet you. While there are some outliers of food experiences to be expected, I believe you have to mainly judge a fast food restaurant based on how fast the food actually comes out and customer service. In this case, the wait times and spotty customer service are what really let this restaurant down. Other than the fact that it's located in my town, I'd say you can find better Burger King's to visit rather than this one. read more

Probably the most unwelcoming Burger King in the state. Takes about 10 minutes to order, with no line. I wouldn't recommend ordering more than 1 thing or even thinking about asking to add cheese on your Whopper as you that will be responded to with open distain that you even had the audacity to order something the way you like it or at least you will think this based on the persons very clear misery through the drive thru intercom. Again, I can't believe I'm reviewing a fast food chain. But I just had to. I went here on Thursday. Ordered inside. Waited like... idk maybe 10 minutes for my not-so-fast food. The food was not served hot (cheese was still cold), I asked for extra onions never received, the onion rings tasted like they were cooked in old oil, the bread was crumbling (which is a sign of old bread), and the employees were rude, clueless, and the place was dirty, The ketchup dispenser was disgusting, leaking ketchup were customers used piles on napkins to prevent further mess. I ordered from this location today through Uber eats however when I got my order it was wrong and items was missing I specifically called the restaurant after I placed my order and I spoke to the manager and give her instructions on what I wanted seeing that I have kids that don't eat certain things she said okay then I got my food and what I paid for wasn't in there which is cool seeing that we are all humans and we all make mistakes but when I called her back she wants to argue and disrespect me on the phone so their customer service is horrible and they have no way in talking to their customers who is helping them get a paycheck. It's like they can't handle that a fast food place should be fast paced! Got the veggie bean burger and new crispy sandwich. The bean burger was so dry you could barely bite through it. When my friend went back in to ask for another one that was actually edible the staff had such a disgusting attitude, like she had a problem replacing the burger for something edible! Disgustingly dirty and general manager and his store manager are discriminating, bigots. As a group of local high school football players ordered food, they were told their food had to go and eventually they refused to give them food. The boys were courteous, the manager was not. I called the local police so the boys could get the meals they ordered. Officer told me this is a daily occurrence, that the management dislikes the teenagers so they antagonize the kids. This place is THE WORST. Almost every time they mess-up the order. Last time they missed a salad, but the guy replaced it with a 'sorry'. No biggie. Today was the worst of the worst. We ordered a #11- Big Fish in the drive-through. Repeatedly making sure plus a Coke Zero, Whopper Jr, onion rings and small shake. Everything showed-up on the board at the drive-thru. We waited a while in line, but when we got the order at the window, there was no Coke Zero or Big Fish. On the receipt, it clearly showed the Coke Zero, but apparently the Big fish was cut off the top of the paper receipt. They handed over the Coke Zero. Hubby handed over his card to pay for the Big fish since it was missed in the charges. He was miffed as anyone would be. Never cursed them or used any bad language, but clearly showed he was not pleased with the service. They then asked for the bag back, so I assumed to make sure the fish sandwich wasn't in there. I had already eaten an onion ring or two. Then they pulled a biggie. They handed hubby his card back, kept out food and said 'I won't be serving you'. This BK is by far the worst I've ever been to. I love in town, and go their out of convenience. I've had so many bad experiences there, these were the worst : once I went at night, around 10pm, and the staff was left without a manager, so they turned all the lights off including the sign in hopes no one would come in. Another time I ordered 2 whopper juniors, one for me, one for my mother, when my mother bit into hers, it was not lettuce on her sandwich, it was 3 crumpled up straw wrappers mixed with 2 pieces of lettuce. Disgusting. And last but certainly not least, I ordered cheeseburgers and when I got home to eat them, I though I was being poisoned, because the stupid ass employees used a pile Siracha sauce instead of Ketchup.
