First, the positive. The person at the drive-through window was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I can say. The two cheeseburgers were cold and dry, and I requested extra tartar sauce on the Big Fish, and instead there was almost none, as though they didn't understand what "extra" meant. I have come to this burger king multiple times now and each time have had speedy service. I wish I got the name of the worker who assisted us in the drive thru today but he was very pleasant! He even has us pull over so he could make a fresh batch of onion rings. In fact, I am only writing a review because of his great service ! So the food and everything is great? But service isn't. Every time I go over there, this same employee (Jasmine) who seems like she *SO* doesn't wanna be there kinda takes out her attitude on any customer that walks in. -We went once before and as my partner started to order she cut him off stating in a very like 'I want you to get out of my face' type of way "Order the whole menu so I can get out of here?" Now I used to work retail so I get making jokes like that but how she said it made me and my partner super uncomfortable. -But today though made me pissed, when we order she corrects us as if how we ordered our food was wrong (she's done this before as well) meanwhile when we order with any other employee they are so kind and know exactly what we want, but apparently to Jasmine she can only know the meal by the number on the board. I went here today for an early dinner I wasn't pleased with the whole nines yard of this establishment. The table were dirty, the workers there were hardly working until the manager made an appearance sometime after we got our food. I am never going to this particular New Paltz Burger King on Main Street ever again. Upon walking in, or should I say sliding in, as the floors were so greasy...I should have just slid right out. However there was no one in the restaurant and only three cars parked in the parking lot. So I couldn't get out without being obvious. I was also hungry and I really like Burger King. Upon getting to counter the second I got there the middle aged front person then suddenly walked away. Her and the cook loudly spoke about who would be coming in for the night schedule. Meanwhile it's only 2PM on a Thursday and I am still waiting to have my order taken. When she clearly watched me walk in. She then proceeds to walk by me in front and walks over to drive through window but there is no one there to take an order from. I guess she has to finally take my order. As I watch the overly full bin of fries getting colder. I order a whopper Junior with cheese meal with split fries and onion rings. She asked if was to-go or here. "To-go please." I also specifically asked for ketchup and an onion ring sauce. I fill my drink at the fun soda machine and the robot soda machine was the only thing actually working to help the customer in this establishment. Five minutes later she literally throws my bag across the counter and says here. Oh really?! Is there ketchup and sauce in there. She grabs bag and throws something in. My fault was not checking before I left. I take ownership of that mistake as clearly this location was not working like a well oiled machine. (Maybe because all the oil was on the floors and surfaces.) I get in the car because lord knows I am not sitting down at the dirty tables. Not a single patron in the place so I guess I am the last to know you don't eat inside the New Paltz Burger King. I drive off only to reach in the bag and no napkins. Not even one. Luckily I had a few tissues in my coat pocket. Two ketchups, no onion ring sauce and my food is ICE COLD! So cold the burger cheese was as stiff and unmelted as if it was thrown on after the fact. Definitely not heated. The fries must be the same fries that had been sitting in the bin. You know where they get that rancid oil taste when they sit too long. This poor service and execution definitely was not due to haste or being over tasked. As I was the only patron for at least ten minutes and then only saw two other people enter as I was leaving. This location is a disservice and not representative of suitable for any King nor a Burger King. Corporate should do a surprise visit and revamp the crew and cleaning routine. read more

Poor attitudes and careless when assembling order. Ordered a medium onion ring and got 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings? Why? Also was pleasant with the employee and got nothing but poor attitude back. I don't expect great customer service, but being rude for no reason isn't cool. read more

There was a time in my life when I went to Burger King weekly, at a minimum. Of course, that was the same time in my life when I was WAY too into Rage Against the Machine, and also when I thought it was cool to wear gigantic pants and swill shitty vodka until I passed out.* Nowadays, I know better. My pants fit and the booze I swill is of a much higher quality (although I'll always love that self-titled Rage album). And I almost never eat fast food. But we were on a road trip through New York, and Burger King was there, and it was fast, and it was cheap. And to be honest with you, this is probably about as good as a Burger King gets. Not only was the entire place full of paper crowns for the taking,** not only was there was a lounge area in the back, but the service was also impeccable. I asked for all the sauces with my chicken strips, and the nice lady behind the counter actually gave me ALL THE SAUCES. There's like seven of them. And she tried to give us two of each, but we decided that was excessive. I also ate part of a Rodeo Burger and some onion rings along with my chicken strips, and all of tasted pretty good. After a year of blacklisting this store as a delivery driver I decided to give it a chance again. The employees at the counter need to be terminated! In the 2020 economy plenty of people are looking for employment especially at $13.75 an hour. Which is way to much for people with attitudes that don't care about customers and delivery people! $7.25 is appropriate! read more

The food here is really good, but the reason I'm bothering to write a review for a fast-food restaurant is the customer service. Everyone here is super friendly, and the manager even gave my boyfriend a second order of onion rings for free because my food came out a few minutes before his did and the manager felt bad that my order of onion rings got cold while I waited. The Jr manager here is repulsive and ignorant. I've lived in the area for quite a few years and about four months ago I had a meal here with my 8 yr old twins. When we were finished with our meal I asked where the trash can was so I can put my tray with my trash in it. Not one person would answer me. There were only a few customers and none of the employees were helping anyone. So, I left my tray on the table and the junior repulsive manager said to me "hey thanks lady maybe you should leave me a $20 tip". Being me...I was courteous and had a few words with him and told him how I thought how his rude and ignorant behavior was repulsive. My parents owned a few restaurants as I was growing up, I know what it's like to be a public servant. This was discussting, joking or not. I'm pretty sure he was embarrassed by the time I was done with him because he surely hasn't said hyde nor hair to me until today. Over the last few months I've only gone in once a month for my kids on a late night mind u (inside). Tonight, I pull up to the drive-through I waited about three minutes before anybody says anything to me(no one in front, nor behind me). The male voice comes over the box and says "what can I get you"? I chuckled and said, "hi!, welcome to Burger King how can I help you"? (Crickets) He said "what can I get you!?" I again said "Hi! Welcome to Burger King! How can I help you"? I'm in sales so you know I had a smile in my voice. He finally says. "Welcome to Burger King, what can I get you"? I said sure give me a min as I asked my son to confirm his order. I had a thought to back out of the drive thru but, I knew my son would freek out. So, I asked what was the 5 for 4 deal and the girl came on and told me. I said "great"! Right then the Jr manager came out of the front door and gave me a look that would go right through someone. I truly thought that enough time had passed that we were over this. However, we obviously where not. So.... I said, "yes, it's me just givin u shit Haha". Well he didn't like it one bit. He had his headphones on while he was staring me down in the parking lot and told me "not to curse at him and to have a nice day". I said "I am, I'd like to order something for my son". He said "have a nice day". I asked him "are you going to take my order for my son"?. He said "have a nice day". So, I drove up to the window to see if the young girl would place the order for my son. LITTERALLY there was NO ONE In sight!!! I truly believe that I am being discriminated against here. I will be filing a complaint and I will take this to the farthest reaches of the universe to see that this discussting piece of "&/$:$8" is reprimanded to the fullest. BTW. I never realized until I travelled into New Paltz's main streets today for a job nearby that there's this really great Burger King. Although I wasn't really wanting much, I ordered a Garden Chicken salad along with a fountain drink that had the CocaCola mix-ins (I chose Strawberry-flavored Sprite). Quite large, but well worth the 5.99 I paid for the item. My brother and mother who were travelling with me had some rodeo burgers and much later a pack of large fries and on all the rodeo burgers as well as the large fries - we felt cheated. From my brothers' former employment by Burger King in Kingston, he knew that a Rodeo Burger needs three onion rings but this location only gave us 2 each. The large wasn't really a large at all. They claimed it was - there weren't manhy fries in the bunch and we felt cheated but we ate the stuff and left (because we had someplace we had to be at a certain time.) read more
