Food and service great. Don't know why it closed as it seemed busy but I believe a better location would have made a difference.

You can't go into the dining room they have it locked. You only have drive-through and if you need to use the restrooms, forget it.

The place is decorated with signage and license plates. Apparently you can also sign the walls or decor if so inclined. They also provide free peanuts if you want some prior to your meal. We were seated and greeted by our server who took our drink order. Once we got our drinks, we ordered our food (burgers all the way around). Two boys got a bacon cheeseburger with fries, I got the continental (bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg), a RC burger, and a fried shrimp platter. Three of us upgraded onion rings to our meal and all meals come with cole slaw. The food was really good and filling. The boys demolished their burgers. Their onion rings are massive (see the pics). My youngest son could not finish his meal so they gave us a go box. Service was a little slow/ inattentive at times and drinks went empty at times. You can pay at your table which is helpful but they tend to want you to pay right away. Good option for the beach when you have had enough seafood. There are several locations in the area also.

Even though we live in Conway, we're always up for the drive when something promises that classic, no-frills, comfort food experience. From the outside, the place has that slightly worn, local-legend vibe--and if you know, you know: that's usually where the best food hides. Sure enough, the menu didn't disappoint. Helen lit up when she spotted a bologna burger (a rare find!), pairing it with onion rings, while I went straight for their famous cheeseburger with fries, loaded up with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and sautéed onions. The presentation was charmingly simple--everything served on individual paper plates, giving it that laid-back, beachy feel. No fuss, no frills--just good food and good vibes. Helen was absolutely in heaven with her meal, and while my burger had fantastic flavor, the toppings were a bit underwhelming--light on the veggies and missing those sautéed onions I was looking forward to. Still, the core of the burger was solid enough to keep me interested. We're already planning a follow-up visit to their Myrtle Beach location in a few weeks--round two is coming, and this time I won't forget to snap some photos. If you're chasing that authentic, old-school burger joint experience, this spot is definitely worth the trip.

The only challenge sometimes is that it can be hard to get in on busy nights--which really tells you how popular the place is. On our most recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had updated the seating in the booths. They remodeled them and added new chairs and tables, making them much more comfortable. The restaurant still has the same classic feel it's always had, but everything looks fresh with new flooring and updated seating. Another nice improvement is that they moved their trivia game to the back part of the restaurant. That has really opened up the main dining and bar area so patrons can enjoy their meals and a few cold beers without the crowding that used to happen during trivia nights. Their menu remains mostly the same, which is a good thing. It's somewhat limited, but everything on it is very good. Every time I go, I order the "Cheeseburger in Paradise." They offer several different burgers by name, and they cook them exactly the way you like--rare, medium rare, medium, or well done. You can also choose fresh-cut home fries or their house-made potato chips, which are excellent. Another thing we've noticed over the years is the consistency of the wait staff. When you go in a few times, you start seeing the same ladies working there, and they really hustle and do a great job taking care of everyone. It's just a great place with a wonderful atmosphere. It's become one of my go-to spots for dinner, and I often take my wife and my mom. My mom is 86 years old and absolutely loves it too. We've never had a bad experience there.
