My husband went to the bathroom and eventually a waitress wandered up with one menu. I told her there were two of us but she handed me the one menu and said that was all she had. I thought that was a little odd, they were about 10 other people inside the restaurant and they had already run out of menus? She was pleasant but I noticed the "regulars" definitely received friendlier service. More people came in and I think more menus miraculously appeared. I wasn't very hungry but my husband insisted getting hot wings as an appetizer. When we asked the waitress how hot was hot she kind of waffled and said they had mixed reviews. When the wings came out, they were swimming in sauce on the bottom of the dish. I will say, the wings were a very nice size, they were cooked extremely well, very juicy and tender, and it was hot. Not hot enough to cry for a glass of milk, but definitely hot enough you did not want to get it on your lips. We were very happy with them and ate them all. We had both ordered the smash burgers with pimento cheese and bacon, cooked medium. When they eventually came out, yes the kitchen was slow but I didn't mind it, everything was still extremely hot in temperature. The fries were thick but very well cooked with crispy outside and fluffy insides and a nice little seasoning salt. The burgers were excellent. Cooked just right, nice amount of pimento cheese, fluffy bun and tasty bacon. We ended up eating half and taking the rest home because we really filled up on the wings. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and the food was very good for a very decent price.

All three came with crinkle cut fries, my personal favorite. Burger toppings were fresh and cold. Plenty of pickles on the burgers. Chicken sandwich was crispy and tasty. All in all a good meal with food that filled the belly and satisfied the soul. Huffman's is consistent in their food quality which not all restaurants here locally can say. You can't miss it right next door to the ABC store, between Big Lot's and Tractor Supply. Never a problem finding parking here. I was happy they were open until 9:00 on a weeknight when I was craving some ice cream. I got a birthday cake on a waffle cone, both of which tasted fresh. My wife and I also took advantage of the two for $6 all beef hot dog deal. Love that char grill flavor on the dog. They have other specials posted for each day of the week, and I haven't even mentioned the arcade with a pool table, air hockey, actual pinball machines, and some others. The meat is moist, tender, a small amount of smoke taste, and not to finely chopped. They give you additional sauce with the sandwich, but it is not needed. This is not destination BBQ - drive by at best. Also tried a chili dog, but took only a bite or two - chili is thin and sweet - no zip to it. Supposedly the BBQ Chicken is pretty good here - and I'll give it a try next time by.
