I have been going to this BK in Austell /Hurt Rd off and on for many years. I have twice in the last 2 weeks. The first time - the part time workers were excellent. As in several previous times. That all changed this past weekend with a person with a loud over-talking the customer mouth man at the window. His unprofessional cattiness resulted in him mumbling that I would not let him speak but he would not listen to the me - the customer - try and state that the BK menu is false advertising - one price on menu and up charging another and If corporate thinks not telling customers is the way - he should have advised leadership by saying THAT IS NOT GOING TO WORK! - customers pay his salary- he mumbled and slammed the window. He ignored my additional questions. Only glad he didn't make my food ) This all began when I decided to get a whopper meal. I am on a fixed income so price matters. I drove up and saw the Whopper meal was $9.64 with taxes. I asked about extra pickles and the lady on the microphone said there is a charge. I said ok. No cheese and I don't want extra pickles. She quoted my window price as "$11.55 or close cents!!!! I said but menu says $9,09 for meal. She then said & 9.64 with taxes. I immediately said but your Marquee menu says $9.09 plus taxes. She said that you don't want the large. I said I guess not. I want what is on the menu. As I drove around this BK loud mouth unprofessional man said $9,64. I said but why is your marque a bait and switch. He said well corporate told us don't ask if you want the $9 one or the $11. "Just automatically give you the higher priced one". I said that the is false advertising. He started yelling about corporate. I tried to tel him you cannot have a customer pay more when your menu mentions nothing of $11.00!!! I thought it was the pickles at first but even $2.00 is too high But the changed cost were none related. So Burger King corporate cannot be located, no emails, having a menu that jumps in price if you don't catch it. Is this what America has become? Of recent the answer is yes. What happened to "Have it Your Way! " maybe it's for BK " Have it my Way" ? So I can make more money! And with that premise that assumes that everybody does not read, I read the menu and clearly it did not state the whopper would be $11 with or without taxes. Some days the food is good other times not. It's hit or miss. It's in an awkward location. Maybe get new location to serve this area better. At this point I will not return. Another fast food review... and this time it's really only all about the timing of getting the food. They are understaffed. Everywhere is understaffed, so you really should be going into the experience with the expectation that it *could* take longer than expected. That being said... waiting 30 minutes in the drive through AFTER ordering is too much. Waiting almost an HOUR like I did is ludicrous, but I couldn't drive off as there was somebody in front of me and behind me... single lane. If you have a maximum of 2 employees working (1 to take orders, 1 to cook) then you shouldn't be open. Not at a fast food restaurant with a DRIVE-THU WINDOW. The quality of food is always on point. Exceptional Customer Service!!!! The General Manager Ms. Shawn was definitely demonstrating excellent customer service!!!!!! My assistant went to pick up our usual order, and the whopper wasn't correct and she forgot the receipt. An hour later when I was finished my meeting I went myself explained the situation, Ms. Shawn took care of it all! Recreated the receipt and the burger. Fabulous her and her team! I literally just had the WORST EXPERIENCE at this Burger King Location, 3740 Austell Rd SW Marietta GA.  I had used the app to get a free OJ w/ my purchase (picture attached in post). If you read the app says "use code at cashier" When I pulled up to pay for my order I presented the code to the the employee. She turned her head back into the window and said you should've told me that at the window, now I have more work to do...with a very rude attitude like I wasn't being cognizant. I said Im sorry but the app said to say at the cashier window not at the drive through box. She sucked her teeth and leaned out the window repeating that I should've told her that at the window, I said okay and they should put a sign at the drive through advising this to avoid confusion.  She said I don't HAVE to do ANYTHING. I was further shocked by her rudeness where other employees were now watching the interaction at the window.I asked for her name but she ignored me each time I asked for it. She had long black braids with a few red braids. I share this as the agent/manager needs to trained immediately on providing customer service, Her skills and human decency were not visible. I asked her if she was okay and the way she was acting was uncalled for. She slammed the sliding door in my face. I was like omg is this really happening? She came back and yelled the total to me. I asked to speak to the manager. She yelled in my face I AM THE MANAGER. I then asked for the district manager, she said nope and I was being rude and she was refusing to service me. This was INSANE at this continued to get worse and worse. I saw another of the employees looking and asked him to assist me. She told him no you're not helping his fat ass (talking about me). She slammed the sliding door again. I said do you really think its  acceptable behavior as the manager? She yelled the total to me again. I paid and continued to ask others who were watching could they provide the district manager's name. She yelled back at them NO! After handing me my food she slammed the drive through sliding door again.  Throughout the interaction I asked for her name and she refused to give to me. I asked for my receipt through the glass. She ignored me.  This literally went on for minimum of 8 minutes  There was actually more in the interaction but I wanted to make sure to capture as much as possible to avoid the major details of this abysmal interaction at your location. . Stated that they wanted to make sure customers orders were fresh. I waited patiently :). Did take longer than expected. There was a lady complaining about her shake which was supposed to be chocolate, but was obviously short on chocolate. Lol. It looked closer to a vanilla shake than a chocolate shake. I've only written a few reviews in my entire life. However, the experience that my 10 year old daughter and I just had at this Burger King on Hurt rd. in Austell, Ga was extremely unprofessional, disgraceful and down right despicable. I have never been disrespected like this in my entire life. I tried to order food for my daughter and son, and when I went to confirm the order with the cashier, she got rude with me and said to "look at the screen". When I got to the window, I ask the young lady if she was the one that took my order and she said yes. I asked her for her name and she rudely said "why?" I proceeded to tell her that I did not like her condescending attitude and I asked for the manager or the owner. The manager came over and she was also rude and had a condescending attitude. The next thing I know a young male worker from the back kitchen came up, and all three of them started ganging up on my daughter and I. I told her that I did not appreciate their attitude and disrespectfulness and to give me back my credit card. They became more Belligerent and ghetto. They would never give me their names nor the name of the owner. They threatened to call the cops on us if we didn't leave the drive thru. I asked again for my credit card back and left. I came through the drive thru of the Burger King located at 3740 Austell Rd. on the morning of 5/8/2021 at around 6:25AM. The lady at the intercom asked me for my order and I gave her a very specific order, a ham egg and cheese croissant sandwich and two small hash browns. When I got to the drive-thru window, the lady, described as an African-American female, acted as if she did not what my order was and asked me, "Did you want two sandwiches and one hash brown?" I must have had a look on my face as if to say I can't believe you do not have this very specific order right! But instead I repeated my order to her of one sandwich and two hash browns. The following interaction I had with the person in the drive-thru can only be described as was "Very Unprofessional". After restating my order she gave me attitude and "back talk" and then walked further into the store and made additional comments to a coworker who was out of my view, but I could still see and hear her making "mouthy" comments. She then returned to the drive-thru window to explain her attitudinal behavior but by this point I was completely bothered by her attitude that I stated to her, "Ma'am, I could do without the attitude". At this point in the interaction this woman stuck her head into the drive-thru window and began arguing with me yelling and screaming at me for no reason. I explained to this woman that I work nights and I had a very bad one and was in no mood to deal with her attitude. She proceeded to cut me off and stated, "See there you go, YOU had a bad night!" This lady didn't know what my profession is, and she did not know what I went through the previous night. I work in law enforcement overnight and the last thing anyone wants is to receive attitude from someone that you are paying to give you customer service. When I received my food from her, I asked for her name and wrote it down on the brown bag my food came in. She said her name was Shawn and proceeded to spell it out for me, "S-H-A-W-N". I asked for her last name and she told me, "It doesn't matter". I then asked her for her manager's name, and she told me she was, "The General Manager". I then asked for the receipt and was told by her that the receipt machine wasn't working. There was also an African American male employee wearing a pale-yellow shirt and khaki pants sweeping up bits of trash in the drive-thru area right next to my car who witnessed the entire interaction. I kept an eye out for him because I was careful not to accidentally hit him with my car. This is not the only interaction I have had with this person and I looks like after reading YELP reviews from other customers who have had similar experiences with Shawn at this same location that this is her regular pattern of behavior inflicting customer's with her attituded and her sub-standard service. She represented Burger King very badly, she also represented the management and ownership very badly and management/ownership should pay close attention to these reviews and do something about this so-called "General Manager". If this location continues to receive negative reviews and poor ratings, they could see a decrease in return business and a potential loss in revenue. I strongly urge the management/ownership team to address this serious lack of concern for customer service among their employees. If you believe that a general manager arguing with and yelling at their customers is acceptable behavior, then I believe that your organization calls for customer service retraining from the top level on down. read more

Saturday 6/05/21 I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at Burger King period. First I sit in the drive thru for 35 minutes. She says we just don't have the employees right now..... so I ordered the original Chicken sandwich even though it's not what I wanted. I wait another 15 minutes in the line and by now I have to use the restroom but the dining room is closed because they are understaffed. I finally get to the window and ask the young man with the rainbow necklace can I speak to your GM or is the GM in. He first looks at me confused and asks me what I said so I repeated it. He said no then I asked for a number. He looks and says we'll I can't help that no one wants to come to work sir. I ask what that has to do with me getting a number and he says well were independently owned I don't have one to give you. I pay for my order and ask again is there someone I can talk to? He says no then taps the young lady on the shoulder and says he's arguing with me about his food. She turns and says well we can't help no one wants to work and I ask again what that has to do with having product and making my sandwich. I again ask for a number and she tells the young man give me a refund cause I just want to argue when all I asked for was a point of contact. So then after an hour or waiting she refunds my money and tells me have a good day and closes the window. So now I'm really angry and I want my food because I feel like this is ridiculous. She opens the window I ask for my food cause of the wait and she has the young man call the police on me..... I did nothing to constitute this type of behavior and I feel utterly disgusted to have to had to wait an hour for me to be treated like a villian.
