I went here the other day and when I was trying to order something the waitress gave a customer a free coffee. Its seem like they have favorites at this place of business. After visiting the McDonald brothers' original store location in San Bernardino, California, the founders and owners (Keith J. Kramer and his wife's uncle Matthew Burns), who had purchased the rights to two pieces of equipment called "Insta" machines, opened their first restaurants. Brinker was tasked with turning the brand around and strengthening its position against its main rival, McDonald's. One of his initiatives was a new advertising campaign featuring a series of attack ads against its major competitors. This campaign started a competitive period between the top burger chains, known as the Burger Wars.[8] Brinker left Burger King in 1984, to take over Dallas-based gourmet burger chain Chili's.[9] Smith and Brinker's efforts were initially effective,[10] but, after their respective departures, Pillsbury relaxed or discarded many of their changes and scaled back on construction of new locations. These actions stalled corporate growth and sales declined again, eventually resulting in a damaging fiscal slump for Burger King and Pillsbury.[11][12] Poor operation and ineffectual leadership continued to bog down the company for many years.[12][13] Pillsbury was acquired by the British entertainment conglomerate Grand Metropolitan in 1989.[14][15] Initially Grand Met attempted to bring the chain top profitability under newly minted CEO Barry Gibbons, the changes he initiated during his two-year tenure were hit or miss. This is truly ridiculous to even have to say this about a national chain that should have standards as to food temp but here we go ... cold meat , cold cheese, cold pickles , half cooked onion rings . What exactly is the issue at this establishment? I asked one day about a month ago if they offer burgers at breakfast and the answer was " it depends on who is working " right here we see that y'all are just operating on a day to day standard and I definitely don't care enough to bother coming back . I placed an order at the drive thru and was asked to park at the front doors. 10 minutes later a girl slowly sauntered out and no apology for the wait no I'm sorry. Instead s he said we gave you an extra ham sandwich. All the sandwiches. were cold. the. hash browns were cold. The oj was cold but it was supposed to be to be. The bag had grease spots which means it sat there long enough for it to soak thru the bag. if you get asked to wait. Get your money back. you won't want to eat what they bring you. Waited almost 20 minutes in Drive Thru just to get to the "order" window. Then informed they were out of fries...then waited another 10 minutes to get to pay window...and yes... Decided to "drive through" without paying or picking up order rather than wait any longer! Terrible service! read more

The young man who waited on us seemed very uninterested and was rather curt. We ordered two Whoppers with cheese but only one came with cheese. Both the bag and the paper sandwich wrappers had wet ketchup smears here and there. The burgers were bland and tasted like any fried burger rather than "flame broiled". The mayonnaise was so thin it dripped out of the burger and the buns became soggy very quickly. Not the Burger King we remember. Won't be going there again. read more

There are no drink options that are not sweetened (corn syrup or sugar substitute) other than coffee or water. Most other places offer fresh-brewed ice tea but, the only option here is "ice tea" syrup out of the soda machine and that stuff tastes awful. When I complained to the closest thing to a manager that they had, he was woefully uninterested in my complaint, just getting an acknowledgment out of him was a challenge, I just kept getting this blank stare and a bunch of "I don't knows" out of him. I did get him to give me the corporate office number but he refused to give me the number of the local franchisee's number. There are a lot of us out there that don't drink caffeinated, sugary sweet drinks for health reasons, and when the only alternative available is water, that just does not cut it. Imma be straight forward yes I was an employee here but this is not in retaliation for being let go for no reason at all, this Burger King location is known for food poisoning me and my friends used to eat it all the time and it's gross now they don't clean the broiler. They advertise fresh food but it's never fresh it's a day or 2 old. They have no common sense while working they don't communicate with you as an employee either I would rather recommend any place else to get your food please save your money and do not waste it here especially during the covid-19 phases stay safe guys and gals. read more

The employees at this Burger King are wonderful! They are always helpful with my quirky little changes to orders and are always smiling and kind. The one time they got something wrong, they chased me down before I had a chance to get out of the parking lot in order to fix it. The only complaint I have is that the drive thru doesn't have any overhangs in the place where we order, pay, or pick up. Does the owner know that this is the Pacific Northwest? I got incredibly wet today with the hard rain we have been having. It seems like it would be an easy fix (McD's has a covering and it's nice). read more

I rarely go inside, but go through the drive-thru a couple of times a month. The drive-thru staff is always friendly and quick. One time they forgot to give me my drink and the employee working the drive-thru window ran - literally RAN - across the whole parking lot to bring it to me before I drove away. I hadn't even noticed that I didn't get my drink, so I was really impressed by their customer service. read more

how many times can the broiler break down ? they have had no beef products out four (4) times in the last 3 months, the great thing is they don't care enough to put out a sign letting you know that before you spend your time sitting (stuck) in the drive thru..... i know things happen but maybe its time to get a new broiler or find a company who can fix it the first 3 times.... i think its worth my time to drive farther than to take a chance at the 30th and ocean beach location in Longview wa . I rushed out of bed to get here before breakfast ended at 11, their crossanwiches are the best on the market and I rarely am up early enough to get them in time. I got here to find out they closed breakfast half an hour early that day. I was livid. The rest of their food is garbage and I was forced to buy something I didn't want because I could not back out of the drive thru.
