Each element of the plate was great, good tenderloin, lightly battered, crispy fries, and outstanding cheese sauce. They were very busy with the local crowd, including a couple of tables of card players. Just one employee and a cook holding down the fort, but they managed well. Wish I knew what was in that cheese sauce.

They, also, baked their own breads and pies and have a display case with pastries. We placed our order and returned to our table. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but while we waited, I watched people coming in and being just as confused about the ordering system as we were. Plus, the line at the counter grew into the seating area. I would think the counter would be good for to go orders like the baked goods and pastries rather than dining customers. I ordered the 1/4 ham and provolone croissant sandwich with fries, my daughter ordered a turkey wrap, and my wife ordered the turkey club. They both ordered fruit cups as their side. The croissant was very good. It was flaky, moist and pillowy, but held the ingredients of the sandwich well. My wife and daughter said their sandwiches were fine. I'm not sure my sandwich had a full 1/4 pound of ham on it, but it did have good flavor. The fries were hot, but right out of the bag. The fruit cups didn't appear the freshest. It looks like they do a good business with the baked goods and pastries. Maybe that should be the business which would make more sense with the style of service they are doing. Wow, this didn't look like any McD's I have ever seen and it was in the middle of farm fields in central IL. The dining room was rather plush with flat screen TV's and more comfortable tables then you typical fast food joint. The counter where you placed your order even had a more upscale feel. However, the one feature that blew me away was the reason I really stopped in for and that was the bathroom. The men's room was as plush as a master suite bathroom. Ceramic title walls, granite trough basin and automatic everything. I didn't have to touch the toilet to flush, the faucet for water or soap and an automatic hand drier. When exiting the door pushed open, another win. Most fast food restrooms are nasty, not here. Having used their facilities I felt obligated to get something, so I grabbed a Sausage English Muffin and some more coffee before hitting the road again. Their early morning staff was perky and friendly. My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures to share with my Yelp family.

I've lived near here for many years and the service has always been terrible. Waited 20 minutes today. Only 2 people work the mornings apparently (Drive thru & cook) how dumb is that. Guess I'll remember now to go to McDonald's where I can get a meal 1.2 minutes. Step it up BK your employees suck as well. Looks like you found them on a crack rock. However, he only dumped it in the center. 5. When he cut it, the cheese was pulled off 2 of the 4 pieces. They're just sloppy.
