This review addresses two subjects; the BK App and the new Ch'King Chicken Sandwich. While the first lacks intuitive feel and is frustratingly obtuse, the later is a damned good attempt to compete with all the other clucker on brioche buns coming to fast food franchises around the country. The app offers many benefits not available to walk-in/drive-in customers. There are free Whoppers with first Ch'King purchases, discounted sides and drinks as "points" are accumulated, and surprise gifts with purchase on a regular basis. Today, it was vanilla soft-serve in a cone or cup when buying something of $3 or more price. So, there are pleasant upsides if you like the BK menu and can navigate the app. Easier said then done. I found that the special offers didn't always appear on the app from use to use. It wasn't obvious, therefore, which deals were present, and which expired. I found myself repeatedly returning to the opening page as I tried to work my way through the process. I ultimately got the ordering completed with what I wanted, but the time waste was a pain in the butt. If not for my curiosity and persistence, I would have deleted the app and driven to Popeye's instead. Yet, it turned out that the new Ch'King standard chicken sandwich was very good (I left the free Whopper for my son to devour). The breast was plump, juicy, well breaded/fried, and all quite tasty. The brioche roll was fresh and held together to the last bite. The special sauce was the flavor of mild mayo,tartar, perhaps a bit of Sriracha, and the pickle slices pleasantly sour and crisp. The Sammy was so thick that my jaws couldn't open wide enough to fit it in for my incisors to clamp down,without squeezing it together and shimmying it back and forth to slowly gain necessary placement between my dents. I chose onion rings over fries, and thought they were a decent alternative, although more calories. This Ch'king falls just shy of the Popeye's version, but ahead of Chik Fil-A, Wendy's and McDonald's iterations in terms of taste, texture, composition and fun. Too, it is competitive with the smaller chicken shops like Lovebird, at a better price. For someone who prefers chicken to burgers as a protein source, this is clearly a reasonable and satisfying way to go. read more

Just placed an order at 6:07pm through the drive thru. Family Bundle containing 3 Whoppers with cheese, 3 cheeseburgers, and 3 medium French fries, 9 piece chicken fry, and 1 honey mustard wrap. We waited nearly ten minutes for the order and that's fine, no problem. The problem was that when we arrived home there were no cheeseburgers at all. How do you not put nearly one third of the order in the bag? I just don't get it. For dinner time it was not that busy. I would not recommend this BK location to anyone. read more

I really don't understand why it's so hard to listen to peoples orders when they make them. Every time I come to a Burger King, they forget SOMETHING. And they want to pay these people $15/hour? The bottom of my roll was so hard on both my hamburgers that I could not bite into the bottom also the two cookies were hard and and not warm first time I was ever disappointed there it was only 8 pm so it was not ever the end of the night. read more

Hello I go to Burger King, sometimes on the weekends and I love their impossible whopper and I would like for Burger King to have a vegan cheese added to their menu American Follow Your Heart cheese and non dairy milkshakes Apple pie milkshake, nondairy strawberry shake, and non dairy vanilla. This is the absolute worst Burger King in existence. The staff is always rude. They just don't teach kids to be polite anymore. The soda machine is broken, they took forever to get my order and it was wrong when I got it. I walked out in anger because they ruined my night all i wanted was dinner but that is too much for them to handle. Every single time i come here, they make some kind of mistake and are rude. They didn't even offer to refund my money after their incompetent performance. My son just came from this location. Only 1 of the 2 drive thru lanes were available. There were 5 cars in line. He finally placed his order. A #10 off the menu board. Nothing special or added. When he finally got to the payment window. The person there never said a word to him. Just took his money, and handed him his change. At the next window, they handed him his bag. He checked. The number of items were correct, so he came home. When he opened the main sandwich, it was nothing close to the one he ordered! Whatever happened to customer service? Accountability for these mix ups? What kind of management was on tonight, whose job it is to make sure these people get even the simple orders right? People are fighting for the minimum wages to be $15 for these minimal jobs, and people have no pride making sure these orders are correct. It cost twice as much to order fast food anymore. And to do so, and get home and the whole thing is wrong. I will definately think twice before going here, and spending my hard earned money! read more

We were hoping this Burger King location would get better after being rebuilt but sadly it's not. I worked for Burger King for three years while in school so I know how the food should turn out. The work stations were a mess, the fries/onion rings were old. The workers could care less about giving you properly made food. We went hear around 830pm on a tuesday and again it was a mistake. We were expecting the usual subpar fast food and somehow it was worse. If you really want Burger King drive to another location. The photo attached is what I was given as a medium onion ring. Hopefully management will teach the young workers some work ethic. read more

I have stopped at this location a few times for Whoppers, and each time, the burger is juicy and piled high with fresh crunchy vegetables. My order has always come out just as specified. I like to hold the ketchup and mayo. The reason? Burger King has little packets of something called "zesty sauce," a mayonnaise-based topping with horseradish and cayenne. A little of that on the Whopper (or the veggie burger) adds some nice zip, and it's great for dipping French fries, too. (I can't remember how I found out about zesty sauce. No counter person ever asks "Would you like some 'zesty sauce'?" One needs to know to ask for it.) Today, this location advertised a "Mac and Cheetos" side. Deep fried mac and cheese that looked like an oversized pool noodle-shaped Cheeto cheese curl. I often avoid fried food, but for some strange reason, I felt compelled to try this concoction. It was salty and crunchy and tasted like a Cheeto, and the middle was satisfyingly mac and cheesy. I was glad that there were only five in the container, as these were... addictive. read more

Went thru the drive thru this morning. Purchased a sausage biscuit w/ cheese, hash browns & a small Dr.Pepper. $5.40. Not a bad price...Hash browns were the best value. The sandwich was pathetic. They can never get an order right. You ask for onion rings, you get fries. You ask for cheese you get no cheese, you ask for diet soda you get regular. Whatever manager was on duty when I called to complain, was too busy to listen and when I said "Hello" my response was "Yeah yeah yeah I'm listening to you" Too much fun and games going on in the store which can be seen from drive through. The service at this place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! We had stopped going to this location for a long time because they NEVER get your order right, but we live about a mile away, and today were tight on time so we figured we'd give it a try again. Big mistake!!! We went through the drive thru, got home and 4 burgers that we ordered were not in the bag. I called three times, noone answered the phone. I get in the car, go back up there and wait about 3 minutes before anyone even acknowledges me, then the girls says "oh yeah we realized after you left that we didn't give you one of the bags". My daughter and I walk out the door, look in the bag and there was one sandwich still missing! I go back in...again, no one who works there will make eye contact. I finally get the attention of one of the girls and I explain the issue, she takes the bag back and start explaining it to the Manager... the ignorant Manager (Ms. Fez?) is talking over the employee not listening and says it's in the bag. At that point, the manager finally comes over and looks in the bag and acts like I'm inconveniencing her! She get us the other sandwich, hands me the bag and didn't even apologize! ordered 3 packs of cookies in the drive through only was charged for one pack but ended up not getting any. went back to the drive through and explained that i needed one for free because i didnt receive it and two more that i would pay for. i got to the window payed 2.12 and left with only 2 packs of cookies. people at the window werent even friendly about it as i tried to make light of the situation. will not visit this location again. read more
