#38/2024 This is a Burger King that's been through many many changes up and down. I ate here a few times over the last year. Contrary to what some of the reviews say this is my experience when I was there the other day. I walked in I was greeted immediately. I noticed the store looks very clean the dining area was clean. I ordered a number one I think it is the original Whopper meal no pickle no onion. I asked for no salt on the fries came with a drink I had a Coke zero The food came out quick and fresh the other thing I noticed it has a working play area for the kids a lot of them have been closed through the years. This one was open and quite a few kids were having fun in there. Staff was very professional. I have noticed though when I have comments in the morning or in the afternoon I don't know what goes on on the night shift with the dismal reviews but that's not for me to say. It's like any other Burger King. But the quality of the food during I would say the even on the weekend around 12:00 1 p.m. is very good. Therefore I give above average it's a four-star on my end. read more

They are always very polite. I went in yesterday through drive thru. I ordered and parked waiting for my order. It was done in less than 2 minutes. When I got my food I told him I forgot to order ranch and was about to go in. He offered to get it for me so I wouldn't have to leave my car. Best drive thru service around here! I'm unsure what the deal is with this specific BK, but all 3 times I've given them a chance they sorely disappoint. The first time we went for their summer 0.99 milkshakes, as advertised there and elsewhere. However, we were told whipped topping would be extra? What? The advertisement clearly shows whipped topping on the special. Second try I ordered the Whopper/Impossible Whopper for $5 as advertised on the BK app. I was not given a receipt, but later looked up my credit card purchases and it showed I was charged $6 plus tax. What, times two! I called and was told a manager would return my call but that they typically upcharge a dollar more for the Impossible. How is this possible when it is clearly advertised for $5? I escalated it to corporate and surprise surprise I was never given the courtesy of a returned phone call. The third and last time was the kicker. I ordered an Impossible at their regular price of almost $7 and per the BK app, had the opportunity to receive a kid's meal for free with any purchase. Now, in past experiences I am always told to "just show the coupon at the register" because they can barely hear me when I order. I did not mention the coupon at the speaker box, but did while paying. I was then reprimanded that I should always mention said coupon at the speaker otherwise they will not honor the coupon next time.....okay......I am an adult and I don't need a tongue lashing from a man working supposed customer service. He then acted exasperated as he messed up my drink and later when I asked for ketchup. Oh, and my child's kid's meal fries were absolutely burnt. This BK is a poor excuse for a food establishment. Customer service is to be desired and they just do not fulfill. Never again. read more

FOOD POSIONING CENTRAL! I know 6 people (including myself) that have gotten food poisoning at this location. Not a busy location so everything goes bad. The employees won't even take your order inside unless you are Mexican. Good luck! read more

First time I went here they forgot to put the burger on the sandwich. I called and they said they'd comp my order next time. Second time I went, "Lou Lou" told me there was a burger on there the first time and she wouldn't comp my order. She continued to argue with me! So unprofessional! She wouldn't give me my money back and told me there wasn't a manager to talk to!? Disgusted with the service at this location. "Lu Lu" is terribly rude and does not know how to treat customers. I had a taste for Burger King and was happy to see that they now have Impossible Burger . This is Burger is made from plants and it was very good. My guest had a Whopper which they stated was very good, but made the mistake of ordering a taco which was way over cooked/fried. This location has a drink machine that lets you combine flavors and offers many vanilla flavored options. The cashier was very friendly and brought our food to the table when it was ready. The dinning area was very clean and a gentleman was sweeping the floor while we were eating. I will be back again! read more

Customer service here is non-existent. Burger King has an app that gives you $2 Whoppers on Tuesday. However, the app doesn't work and the 'manager' won't honor the advertisement even when you show him that the problem is on Burger King's end. He would not honor any of our multiple attempts with the error being on his end. Such a BAIT AND SWITCH! Then he offered the current buy one get one for a dollar, which came out to be $6.50, but the sign on the front door said "two for $6". He said it was whichever you chose, but did not point out the lesser expensive value. Then, since I could not get the $2 whopper, I went for the $1 large fries (also in the app advertisement). The app now said I could only use one coupon. I did not get to use the other coupon- it wouldn't let me. So, I asked Byron (the manager), if he would give me the $1 large fries. He said no that we had to have the code. I said, after all we have been through, can you please give me the $1 large fries? He said he had to have the code for the register. I said, put in the $1 value fries to charge me and be kind for all my frustrations and give me the large fries. Byron acted like an idiot. He was blatantly being rude! Acted like he didn't 'get it'. Myself and my family will not return to this particular Burger King. There are several of equal distance who will get our business. NOTE TO OWNER: I have had many employees, customer service is key. This Burger King has reasonable prices, serves okay food, and has fast service. After ordering a Whopper Junior for the first time in a few months I had been surprised by the very low price, where it seemed as if they were taking a loss on my order. After arriving home and opening the bag, everything was correctly made and was still hot, however, there was an excess of mayonnaise on my burger, to the point where it was dripping out at a profuse rate. The fires were okay, reminding me of the cheap Ore-Ida fries you can get at a supermarket, with not enough salt and too little crunch, but for the price they were okay. In all honesty, it's about the same as what you should expect when you eat at a Birger King in the first place. read more

Burger King is known to grill and fry all their burgers and fries and use heat lamps for quick service.The burgers are always dried up from waiting far too long in the heat lamps. And to make matters worse, they put the buns and burgers together into the microwave (which make the sandwich soft and soggy). The drinks are 90% ice and the fries are handed out in rations.I only order the fish sandwich and fries.The buns are never fresh and the lettuce is old and soggy.The last few times I counted less the 10 fries in a small order.( Potatoes are cheap to make and probably their biggest profit maker.They should be ashamed of themselves with the few fries they hand out) This Burger King is never busy no matter what time you arrive.Now,I know why! Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Wish I could actually close it down myself. The staff there is incompetent and rude. It's always dirty inside. On this particular visit, I asked for a 10 piece chicken nugget. It should have been easy. Got home and realized the nuggets were spicy, and I didn't even get asked if I wanted spicy or regular. I can't eat spicy food. I called to let them know, and I got HUNG UP on. I called again and this time talked to a "manager" who couldn't even speak English. All he said was "your name please, your name please." I'm not giving you my name, why bother when I'm not even coming back. I went to this Burger King located at 1276 state st. in Lemont,IL. on 6/13/2011 about 745pm with my husband and two small children. Inside Burger King it was empty, I should of taken the hint and walked away. There was three employees who were speaking Spanish amongst themselves as my husband was placing our order. As my husband placed our order our kids were very excited to go play in there play land. When I went back there with them, there was ants all over the tables and the floors. The outside of the slide had food stuck on it and was dirty and the high chair well I'm not for sure but lets hope that was part of a Hershey pie and not something else on the seat of the High chair nasty!!!! I took my kids immediately out of the play land and went into the restaurant. Every single table was filthy the floor looked like it wasn't cleaned in a couple of days. I advised my husband that we are not going to eat here! If this is how their tables and the kids area looked like I can only picture how the rest looks like. My husband spoke to the asst. manager Gabriel who was yelling at my husband that there is nothing wrong with the food that yes the place is dirty but that doesn't reflect the food when I advised her that this place has multiple health code violations and pointed them out to her that is when she decided to give me my money back.
