However, while passing through on a business trip, I decided to give Culver's a chance, and boy was I glad I did. First off, this isn't really a steakburger like I know them. Yes, it's a thin patty, but not nearly as thin as a Steak and Shake burger. I ordered a triple and that thing was pretty thick. I could have easily gotten away with a double and been perfectly happy. As a precautionary measure I also ordered an onion ring and cheese curds in case the burger itself wasn't enough to satiate me. The onion rings were real onion rings and were delicious. Cheese curds were pretty awesome too. The real hero, as it should have been, was the ButterBurger. Juicy, fresh, and packed with delicious flavor. Because I'd eaten both side, I could only eat about half the burger in that one sitting, but it was incredible! I get it now. The fries definitely did not match any description I read and I definitely was not expecting a small bag of crinkle cut fries. These are not worth ordering for $3.
