Training is an understatement for what this place needs! Customers shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for a simple meal. Line wasn't long so no excuse for this place. Employee was in the middle of taking my order and left to go deliver food out to a vehicle. Person could have at least finished my order then went to do the delivery run. So most everybody doesn't know, the amount of Burger King I buy. I am a straight fiend. I don't eat fast food, really except for BK. This particular location isn't as bad as make people make it seem or sound. So let me give you a pure raw detailed review, from a guy who eats so much Burger king, he has a corporate rep who reaches out at underperforming restaurants that he reviews. Actually, they should make me the Burger King Czar. I ordered thru the mobile app, my signature Whopper, heavy all, heavy jalapeno. All Burger King's in different states are different in what they offer. I noticed trying to build my burger from the app, there is no option to add extra anything. It was either regular or no. I tried to circumvent the app options and ordered my Whopper that I have saved to my favorites that I get at other Burger Kings in hopes that it would go through the system, but looking at my receipt and my food, it did not. This is not the fault of the employees, it's the location. They don't even have jalapeno here. I came inside and stood there for probably maybe one or two minutes, and a gentleman came from the back. Didn't really acknowledge me, grabbed a cup and took a drink of whatever he's drinking. So I said "how you doin sir?". Then he asked me what I wanted and I told him I made the mobile order. The place isn't filthy as other people say, but it's not the cleanest either. I noticed a few soda rings on a couple tables, and straw paper wrapper shreds strewn randomly, but it wasn't like filthy. Anyhow, I ordered my signature whopper. And I got what is pictured. Since there's no option for "heavy all" I just essentially got a normal double Whopper, low carb. They're out of plastic bowls, and the nice lady told me that beforehand, but I was fine with it being just wrapped in paper. So after a few minutes, I got my food. The same gentleman behind the counter handed it to me. And I said "thank you, sir". He didn't say nothing back. He turned around, and I don't really care, BUT, and I think and I hope this wasn't directed towards me, but I heard (inaudible) (inaudible) mothaf***a. Not too sure if it was directed at an order that it just popped up or what, because he was looking at a monitor, but it just hit me as strange. I actually thought he was really cool dude. I don't really care and it doesn't affect me either way when people use profanity. Well unless I'm like at a steakhouse like bugsy and Meyers dropping $1,000 on a steak dinner. So all in all, I guess three stars will do. I did read the reviews before going in and took that chance, but there's a lot of Burger Kings that have bad reviews that I buy food from, that I try to correct. NEVER AGAIN! AVOID! GO TO HARDEES OR MCDONALDS! SAVE YOURSELF! We have to travel to Texas for medical appts, stopping here to grab a biscuit is just easy. Today is Tuesday, Aug 20, the time is 10:15 a.m. And today was our LAST VISIT to this Iowa, La BK. Some days they are out of biscuits in the morning! Sometimes they have no sausage. And that baffles me because they NEVER have cars in front of or behind us. So,today, Aug 20th at 10:15 am we ordered the 2/$5 egg & cheese croissant w/ham. My husband said, "2 for $5 croissants with ham please". The voice from the intercom said no eggs? Husband said yes, we want the croissant with ham,egg, and everything else that comes with it. She then repeated it back to us WRONG. Husband corrected her again. (This time she had an attitude). WTF? she made the mistake! Finally, after back and forth with the voice with the "tude", we made it to the window to pay, get order. Honestly, she looked like a homeless person that just wandered in and was given a uniform. She was a sloppy older(60-65+) white woman. She was very unpleasant and looked pissed at the world. We grabbed our bag and got on the interstate. Dammit if the croissant had ONLY ham on it! And double dammit my receipt shows "crois H/E/C !!" The order was right, the fulfillment was wrong! I immediately called the restaurant and told the woman about the mistake. She argued with me telling me that is what we ordered! When I tried to tell her she was wrong from the beginning, she raised her voice, said she was right and then said have a nice day and slammed the phone down! No sorry, no come back we can fix it, she was right and we were wrong! On our way back home that afternoon, about 3:30 pm, we stopped by to get her name and the phone number of a corporate office. She(same woman from morning) refused to give her name, said she was the manager and for us to call 1 800-BURGERKING to complain. There is no such number. She basically blew us off again! In fact, I cant find any number to report this kind of service and rude employee. We will no longer be stopping at Burger King. McDonalds is one minute away, and they are always friendly, smiling and happy to have customers-and a job! If the kitchen of this place is as disgusting and nasty as the manager is...the very thought sickens me. Avoid this place! I see many other 1 star reviews of this place. I am sure this is the same woman that everyone is complaining about. BK needs to do something about her! She should NOT be working with the public! read more

There's no one here at 3:20 pm but fat sloppy dressed cashier asked us to pull forward 'around the corner'. She brought us our food- still no one behind us in line??? Maybe it's her exercise- good for her. Cheddar jalapeño poppers spilled out into the larger sack- she probably had her hands all over them. Through the drive thru AGAIN - still no one in line- and asked if they came with sauce. She gave us a big Hollywood smile and said "if you want " and handed us a ranch sauce- didn't ask what kind we wanted. Yeah- she showed us!!! Wonder why there aren't any customers?? Hmmmm... while traveling back to Houston my wife and I decided to stop at Iowa Louisiana Burger King. Well as soon as we made it to the drive thru menu board we was asked to hold on. after waiting a few minutes we were asked for our order. Don't know what the hold up was with one other car at window already. From the time we ordered the lady at the window was obnoxiously rude. Was told to move up a little to wait for our food, just for her to come out screaming at us a few minutes later to move up further which was still a single lane with no passing room for others to pass. Needless to say we both got a chicken sandwich with large order of onion rings. well then we got a large onion ring holder with a small order of onion rings which didn't fill box half of the way. so for $22 dollars I didn't get my money's worth, was met by the rudest fast food worker I've ever met, and was pretty much told take it or leave it. Nastiest Burger King off the highway. Bathrooms nasty. Toilet paper on the floor, no soap to wash your hands, dirty floors in the eating area, dirty counter and dirty everything. Pros-nice staff and the brand new coke machine with a large variety of drink selections. Great signal and digital menu. Highly suggest the owner get this place together before someone gets sick. Hire a janitor or someone to mop the floors in this place and the bathrooms. read more

Around 9 PM CST on Thursday 11/6/2014, two over-flowing industrial size trash barrels were staged at the front door as a single Burger King employee was walking out from the food preparation area, into the dining room, which was in need of table clearing and a floor cleaning. After standing at this BK's unattended order counter for over two minutes, and being glanced at and ignored by two BK employees, I called out "Is anyone working the front tonight?" At this, a female employee emerged from the preparation area and stopped to discus what to do with the take-out clerk. Then, she said something unintelligible as she rapidly walked past me on her way to the women's restroom. As I waited, another customer entered and waited behind me. About a minute later, the prep area BK employee came back out and greeted the most recent customer in line and stated someone would be there in a moment. Shortly thereafter, two female BK employees slowly emerged from the women's room; still engaged in what sounded like a personal conversation while completely ignoring the fact that customers were waiting on them.
